Gaiming gladiators  vs entity game was  very very entertaining especially map 3

Entity were huge underdogs with 2 standins and nobody expected  they would win  a map let alone win the series like this

They dominated all 3 maps almost and the map 3 pudge pick was very surprising, i was tracking live odds and they  were 4x in the first few mins only of map 3
Malrine and ATF are good stand-ins and they're not just playing to play but also to help the team to get to some better ranks as they continue in the lower bracket.
Anyway, we will see if Entity will survive the lower bracket against BetBoom or it will be their last match.
Team Liquid and GG being out, not sure if it's part of the plan or they were just really not that strong for the past tournaments as they need to have a long rest prior to their preparation of TI 2023.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: September 21, 2023, 12:25:32 PM
Want to get rid of gambling as demand is at a point where it is difficult to refrain from. In addition to these the way to prevent gambling addiction will depend on the person's own wishes. If there is any other emotional stress problem or big event beyond the gambling, it should also be well analyzed.
Someone's situation that deals with other problems will trigger his own desire to put that pressure on something else like gambling. That's why prevention is hard to do when you're also dealing with other things. And having that will to stop starts from you, you just can't say that in words but you need to prove that to yourself and show it that you're doing the right actions for your own ways of stopping it.

Whenever you want to gambling online, you will work away from the phone. You can go somewhere for a few days or go to relatives' house the last thing is to stay away from the phone so that the gambling will return to normal.
Not just from phones but also from other devices, desktop/laptop, or any device where you'll be able to gain access to any online casino. Just do other things so your attention will be divided and that will be one way for you to at least do something to stop.
1283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do crypto gateways compare to traditional methods in security & efficiency? on: September 21, 2023, 10:05:40 AM
In your opinion, we'd like to hear your thoughts on how crypto payment gateways stack up against traditional payment methods in terms of security and efficiency.
If we're going to be in detail about the payment gateway as is for Bitcoin. We can fairly say that it is highly secured because transactions that do happen on it are hard to reverse and its confirmation will be done and made through the miners.

Do you believe cryptocurrencies offer a more secure and efficient way of conducting transactions, or do you think traditional methods still have the upper hand? Share your insights and experiences to help us gain a broader perspective on this evolving landscape.
As for the other cryptos, we've seen reports and news that many of them have been 51% attacked and hacked. And to be fair for the traditional payment systems, they also have their own bad days but I think if we're going to compare them. It is that the traditional ones are more trusted by many because there will be an accountable company if ever something messed up.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 21, 2023, 08:42:57 AM
Draymond Green had this to say on Twitter (x) about a report that Dwight Howard has been given the all clear to join the Warriors by the vets and will be working out with Dray and CP3 tomorrow.

https://x.com/money23green/status/1704666006696960078

That sure does make it seem like Dwight Howard is going to get another shot in the NBA with the Warriors. That could cause problems for the rest of the league.
An addition to that, Dwight was able to have close contact calls with the higher executives including their coach, Steve Kerr. So yes, this is the early signs that we're going to see Dwight coming back in action in the NBA. He may not be in his prime but sure he's got the love and passion for the sport and also he's got still a lot of fans. So the Warriors isn't just going to get him as him alone but also the crowd and fans that he's got in the entire world as he's got more when he played in Taiwan. Maybe it's just a matter of time until there's the official announcement of the Warriors for their welcoming to him.
1285  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Marriage a contract or a union? on: September 21, 2023, 07:32:49 AM
The rate at which we hear of divorce cases this days around the world is heart breaking. Particularly in the western world. What could be the main reason for this menace in our society. It's a menace because  when children are involved, they will be the one to suffer divided attention even though the law forces the parents to pay for their support.
There's no more respect in unions and marriages these days. The justification that they're having is that there is this law of divorce or annulment wherein they can simply restart and find another partner. Yes, even those couples that have kids, they don't mind separating since they can just co-parent to their children.

The question will then be: is financial  support all that it is to raising children?
Sadly yes. But the emotional impact on the kids is high when they see their friends have their complete family and they don't have one. This is what they don't understand. But it's much better than to live together and suffer with each other's disagreement.

If these divorces  are base on the way its viewed as a contract then it must have an end surely  because no contract last for a life time. However,  if marriage is look upon as union based on religious belief, then there a bidding involve. Ironic bonding transform the individuals to one flesh. So, if any party think of divorce, they will as well reflect on the impact it would have on themselves. Can you separate yourself?
Separation needs to be agreed upon and there are laws that can declare that these separations are needed to be done for the sake of both parties. That's why before getting married, everyone should be prepared financially, spiritually, mentally and emotionally.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the drive that makes women go into gambling? on: September 20, 2023, 10:14:25 PM
Why is it that it gives me the negative connotation when a woman goes to the casino just to "socialize"? I think that this is too much watching drama for me and I think that whatever happens there after socializing with other people remains there. I can't say that if somebody understands that because I've also watched too many videos from women of Vegas that they're coming back and forth there not just for the actual gambling but for something else. And if you still can't get that, it's more of socializing with people but looking for more intimate interaction from the other gambling guys there.
1287  Economy / Economics / Re: Thailand to start taxing overseas income next year, including from crypto on: September 20, 2023, 06:03:04 PM
They should have done that a long time ago. Because of how cheap living there is, putting a tax on the income of the foreigners there who have been traveling and working at the same time should benefit their government. Next would be a digital nomad visa or something like just Portugal. But I think that since Thailand isn't strict with tourists and they don't have visas for most countries(cmiiw). This is even better and could get them more tourist as it's a signal that if you stay there for long and you're working and getting paid offshore, could make more laws and give incentives to them since they're bringing more money to their economy.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 20, 2023, 04:49:20 PM
I agree, as parents, we need to show that we're a good example to them. Whatever they see, they will copy. Always remember that they're like that and they're looking for a role model that they're going to copy as they grow older. It's hard to see that one of your kids becomes an addicted gambler when they grow old. I dunno if someone will be able to take that and will have to blame himself for not telling them that there's a better way of living aside from gambling. We're old, we know the sides of life and things and we don't want our kids to have that kind of life. We all want the best for them in life and we're just aware of the possible setbacks if they become one in the future. Whether we like it or not, we don't know what's ahead in the future or what they'll be since they'll still be able to know what gambling is and might try that in secret. But just be the best parent for them and teach them the right thing to do and don't gamble, so don't gamble when they're around too.
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone notice this pattern? on: September 20, 2023, 03:41:32 PM
That pattern ain't a secret anymore. That's why we've got the so-called '4-year cycle' and from that cycle, that's how the market turns into a bull run after coming from a terrible bear market. But if there's another halving and bull run that's to be expected, 2021 was different from the past bull runs and that's why we might also see another different bull run approximately on 2025.

What do you guys think, Is the law of average work here or I am just speculating it?
We're all speculating and you know what's the beauty of this market? Every law or theory that we believe that's gonna work to Bitcoin can be applied depending on the situation.
1290  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: September 19, 2023, 08:20:53 PM
yes, those golden times of giving away in Games and Round section.

also the Dueling that Duelbits started as a game promo ,  also some several casino that offers other bonus giving games.

but never that I partake in twitter , have you earn enough in the past mate?
As for me, I have never been lucky with those giveaways, especially the ones on their Twitter, and with all of those stuff and promo codes, they're quick to be gone. Some could have been bots waiting for those to be posted and then the rest are just lucky folks. Anyway, speaking of promos, they don't run out of it and someone who just wants to be part of it could just simply visit not just their Twitter account but also the promo page on their website.
1291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's share some tips among ourselves. on: September 19, 2023, 01:46:45 PM
What criteria do you use when buying and selling?
Very simple.

  • I buy when I've got spare money.
  • I sell when I need money.

That's the formula that I have been doing and after learning from my past mistakes. It made me better that I need to make sure that I am able to at least buy when I have spare money. The reason for that is to lessen my eating out and allocate that to investment and that's none other than Bitcoin.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 19, 2023, 11:16:45 AM
Who's team do you think has the best advantage next season? I haven't seen the odds yet but I am expecting the Phoenix Suns and the defending champion Denver Nuggets to lead the bookies.
I've got a few on my mind. Denver Nuggets is still on my list but teams like the Golden State Warriors since there's CP3 and the potential of acquiring Dwight Howard as well as the rumor about Giannis wanting to go there. Who knows if the deal about Giannis could happen this season or there could be some special deal or clause that can happen between them and Bucks. Phoenix is also on my list. Actually, it's too early to say because this start is gonna be the intro of it and just like last season, there have been a lot of trades that have happened while the season was on going.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating altcoin for business financing on: September 19, 2023, 09:57:58 AM
Hi, welcome to bitcointalk propeller. I understand the concept that you're thinking about releasing altcoin of yours for the funding of your business and in return, there's the value that you'll also project for those tokens. Honestly, this has been done for so many times in the past like during the ICO days. I don't recommend this anymore as the volatility will certainly hit the token especially if you put that in the exchanges. If there's a need for funding just release some bonds or get into crowdfunding by releasing stocks instead of altcoins.

Thanks for the advice to take a closer look at Crowdfunding. I didn't know about this kind of funding. Now I’ll read and look on the Internet. I agree that altcoins
do not have a stable exchange rate and are subject to volatility. I see that after listing the coin drops in value several times. I understand that many people want to get quick benefits and what this can lead to
to the impossibility of the further existence of the project.
I say again that I am new to this topic and I want to understand the possibilities of Internet commerce.
Crowdfunding has been known and was already been there even before crypto crowdfunding through ICO sales. And about the value of an altcoin dropping about being listed on an exchange is always the thing. There's always the big ones that are waiting for that to happen and won't care whose left behind as long as they profit as early as they can.

All I found on the Internet were Crowdfunding sites that allow you to finance non-commercial projects or
private small business. Mainly associated with handmade or production of piece goods. Their reward for funding is basically the right to receive the product for free.
I have not found a platform for financing business projects. If there is a specific site, please tell me.
I don't have any specific website on it because there are lots of them and I've done deals on my own and invested as an angel investor with little amounts before privately.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 18, 2023, 02:47:49 PM
Do you think it is the same experience for a gambler who has practically experienced and been involved in gambling evolution since gambling was on the street side with personal belongings or money, to spaces and buildings for gambling with money, to gambling with money online, and now to gambling with cryptocurrency online with a gambler who has experienced a few or just one of the forms of gambling?
A totally different experience for those who have been in the gambling scene since the existence of street gambling until the online approach came. And it's even more different than of today because of the adoption of cryptocurrencies, we don't need to worry about the triggering notification that's going to tick us from the bank if ever we're going to deposit into a casino. Unlike before, there's always this notice and it's even a red flag to the banks that we're using.

whose addiction will be harder to break?
Addiction is addiction regardless of its form.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free spins are also a demo in disguise? on: September 18, 2023, 12:20:12 PM
Free spins are for real, it's just that there could be an algo from the provider that winning there with huge amounts is likely less chance. But it's still giving a chance for those claimers to win some little amounts and that's much better than having nothing. Demos are completely free, nada winning and whether you win there, is worthless unlike in free spins. So, free spins aren't a disguise but just as the demos, they're good part of casinos marketing plans and attractions.
Yes the free spins that the casino gives at the time of sign up or whatever, are different from the demo where there are no withdrawals. We have to be realistic in this case, when making a deposit, big wins are also difficult to get, especially this free spin given by the casino, of course the chances are also smaller to get a big win.
To summarize, we can say that free spins are real while demos are not. We saw gamblers who are into free spins that have won with real money.

I agree with you that this is part of their marketing form to attract many users by giving free spins, and if we have been in the scope of gambling for a long time, this is certainly no longer something new for us.
That's always what it is. They need to get the attention of many gamblers and there is no doubt that these free spins are given, many are also going with the crowd there and flock them. It's an effective strategy that many casinos do and it's no longer a secret to keep.

1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino features you like and Don't like but you don't mind on: September 17, 2023, 11:45:38 PM
We do really have our own ways of appreciating the casino that we're playing at. Some say the design, the security, the support, and other stuff. It does make sense to say all of it because those are important factors for someone to like and dislike. KYC is much the most disliked by the majority and also the few supported crypto. Aside from that, the slow in withdrawal process is also annoying when you just want to cash out but the casino delays it a lot.

1299  Other / Off-topic / Re: How has AI affected your job? Positively or negatively? on: September 17, 2023, 03:17:42 PM
1. Students now rely much on it for their assignments and it's almost difficult to engage the brain in constructive reasoning since AI can always come through for them
It's totally different from our era when all assignments should be researched in the libraries and then the era of the internet has come. But I think the only difference from that is we manually search on the web whilst with AI/GPT apps, it is quickly answering and filtering those.

2. It has affected the graphic space since you can just do an AI portrait, or simple graphics for yourself using the AI tool, and the graphics guy is technically not needed anymore.
Those graphic guys are still needed, they just have to adapt the situation and if there's an AI then there's also the navigator or controller of it.

3. The coding guys are not even left out and although it has its advantages in all these sectors I feel it also has done a huge damage in increasing the rate of laziness on the part of the youth.
Innovation isn't laziness and that's the first impression of what people see on it but if you're going to understand it. It's really innovation and that's what we have to adopt, the changes that are being carried by technology.
1300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is very safe coin because of good developers on: September 16, 2023, 10:35:40 PM
And luckily, it saves us from possible hacks, when hackers are prevented from detecting flaws faster because all flaws are removed before implementation.
We have seen so many hacks, where a flawed code was exploited and people lost money, like for Altcoin cross chain bridges recently or when Terra Luna failed.
Bitcoin's network is tight and strong but there's no 100% that's safe but at least it's strong and hackers that would like to do an attack will have a hard time doing it. And about hacking, we're on our own and that's why we need to check ourselves if we're doing the right thing in keeping our bitcoin.

Still, people are buying coins from unreliable coders like Tron from Justin Sun or even weaker DeFi coins like Acala Stablecoin from Polkadot’s supplier Web 3.
Unfortunately, some people will only learn after a loss.
You can't stop people from investing in different altcoins as that's what their conscience is telling them. They'll learn the hard way and those losses that they'll make is going to be their enrolment to become better.
