On what OP received, maybe it's a pure scam. But as far as I know, there are legitimate brokers because, in the first place, that's how it works. Users will deposit money and let the broker do their work. I also don't know if something reputable service like that exists in the crypto-world. But for the stock market, there are legitimate ones. The bottom line is, OP should just ignore that email. A company isn't sending messages to random people but the client instead will make business with that company. I have read about stockbroker and its really legit like in the case in India. As traders cannot trade directly in stock market, so they are required to take the services of a stockbroker. But in crypto, there are those legit ones but you must be very cautious from choosing them because most that are in internet sites are pure scams. I suggest just trade on your own so you can stay away from the chances of being scammed. |

The price is already on a decline after hitting a ATH last November, and for sure the bear market might take over this 2022. I know the feeling though, it's really hard to see the price going down but we can't do anything but to prepare for the worst.
Maybe this first quarter alone might be a good gauge and know if we are really in a bear market or not or if there could be some surprise and we might bounce back. So we will have to see but expect the worst.
Has there been a change in the fundamentals of the crypto world? Is bitcoin not what it is a few months ago? Is there any big bad code faulting going around? No? Then we should not be worried about anything at all right now. Even at bear market, the fundamentals are not going to change, it is the sentiments that affects the price. We had China attacking bitcoin, we had Elon pump and dumping, we had second largest mining nation having a civil war going on, we had so many bad things in the news regarding crypto, the fact that inflation is now high in most major nations and people can find other means for investment also didn't help neither. So, crypto is still great, and it will still break the ATH price eventually, we just had a bad stretch, that's it.
Yeah, but you can't deny that these factors have really affected the price negatively right? From all time high of $69k so now at $37k. So price perspective is bad and admit it or not, the market is really on a bad shape and we are in a bear market. But this won't be forever, right? So we don't have to deal all of these as they may only destruct our goal in the crypto market. If we can make this bearish market into our own advantage, it will really make a big difference in the future. And eventually, its new ATH will still be achieve but i'm not seeing it in the soonest time. The start of the year could be gloomy days but after that, a new sunshine will come. |

Hi everyone, it's been awhile, just wanted to tell you that I still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too!
Some of you may say it's a dumb decision or risky, but I'm all for BTC and positive about it. To the Moon!
It seems to me that you either A) Don't have a big holding of Bitcoin or B) You have a privileged enough lifestyle that your Bitcoin holdings are relatively insignificant within your overall asset portfolio. You certainly passed up on the opportunity to sell at all time high, or even in the $50-60k range which held for quite some time. If Bitcoin did make up a bit portion of your wealth, which is highly unlikely considering your flippant approach, then you have wasted a lot of opportunity. Diversification is a solid strategy and what the richest people in the world do to maintain their wealth levels. Periodic rebalancing and taking sensible profits while the opportunities are their make a good invester, rather than someone bragging that they left a lot of money on the table. More likely, OP has a gold spoon on his table and he's lucky enough not to experience financial problems that almost all of us are struggling to survive. But on the other hand, i can sense that he's posting this just to inspire others to do as well, not really on bragging himself. One thing is certain, he can make more profits if he was able to sell them in the previous bull run and buy back again at this bearish season. That way, there is always a progress on his current income. |

Sixers have gotten over the Ben Simmons drama and they have build a momentum already without Ben. I think it's the favorites I'll also be going to with tonight, I'll be taking the Warriors against Timberwolves though, instead of 76ers against Lakers. Lakers are really inconsistent and despite the fact they've been doing much better lately, I'm still not convinced about what to expect from and AD has been a really problem solver since he got back. Warriors -5.5 would be my bet. I have to ride on this one, Warriors are hot now, they can't lose at home even against the Wolves although the Wolves are doing well lately. Warriors are already in 3 winning streak, but beating the Mavericks last time with a very big margin is already a good reason why we have to back them tonight. |

Has the market reached the bottom? We don't know. Will the market rebound soon? Yes it will eventually. Today or tomorrow or any upcoming days. The market always recovers after a huge crash. And yes, the fear market is the best time to buy. Bitcoin and all other altcoins are currently at a discounted price. If you can afford to invest, then invest as much as you can to maximize your profit in the long run. If you are planning to sell, then sell only if you are willing to take the risk of timing the market to buy at an even cheaper price. Or else just keep holding until the market recovers. You only make a loss when you sell your coins below your buying price. Even if the value goes down, you still hold the same amount of coins. Investors and hodlers are only humans so they still feel the same just like others who become fearful this time. And to see that almost all the coins right now are dropping their prices, i think the fear to lose is always there. But does this fear help us in some ways? No, this may even cause us to get panic and lose in the end. And while others tend to be fearful, its always good to be greedy on the other hand as this fear months are the best moments to buy coins with great potentials. |
