You are wrong US had a complete pull out of Iraq....

The US had a partial pullout, after all the oil wells and the gas rigs were given to the American Corporations. Some 17,000 American soldiers are stationed at the American embassy in Baghdad and at consulates in Basra, Mosul and Kirkuk. Also, there are more than 5,000 American private security contractors, stationed all over Iraq.

Love how you got that from wiki but did not put the header up there and changed it around lol
Full article
Full withdrawal (2011)[edit]
See also: U.S.–Iraq Status of Forces Agreement
With the collapse of discussions about extending the stay of U.S. troops,[25][26] President Obama announced the full withdrawal of troops from Iraq, as previously scheduled, on 21 October 2011.[26] The U.S. retained an embassy in Baghdad[26] with some 17,000 personnel,[27] consulates in Basra, Mosul and Kirkuk, which have been allocated more than 1,000 staff each,[27] and between 4,000 to 5,000 defense contractors.[26]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We occupy and secure the embassys in Iraq that is all, who cares if private contractors are there...

over 67,000 are stationed in Europe... Guess we occupy euro as well
 Kuwait   11,415
 Japan   50,631
 Germany   40,328
 United Kingdom   9,485

Stop twisting facts to suit your needs.

Nice spotting this one.
Replacing personell with soldiers .. that low bryant , very low..

Guess that mother russia is also occupied by the americans , they have 2000 embassy personal soldiers  there.

I just wonder for how long was he an American citizen and how much he carried another nationality.

He was born and brought up in the US (Florida, to be precise).

His father is a Palestinian Arab, born in the West Bank, while his mother is a non-Hispanic White, born in the US.

Sorry for doubting this and being wrong on this issue but I still think he wouldn't have ended like this if he was called John or Michael Wink.
1603  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donetsk, Kharkov, Lugansk - way to Russia. on: June 07, 2014, 04:34:30 PM
It is also good news for us.
If those planes follow the path of the plowing migs it helps build confidence our army will last 31 minutes not 30 against the red bear.

This has nothing to do with the Red Bear, unless you are referring to the Donetsk People's Army by using that term.

BTW... the blame game has already started. The DPA is claiming that they shot down the aircraft using the 9K38 Igla. The Ukrainians on the other hand are saying that it was shot down using the 9K333 Verba, a much more advanced anti-aircraft missile, currently possessed only by the Russian Army.

I was referring to the red army , and that's how we mainly talk about it , using the word bear and red , of course you know why the red colour Smiley.

After all , it was the russians who threaten us to level our nation to the ground in 30 minutes.

The explosion of new laws allowing citizens to carry firearms concealed is a large factor in the crime drop over the last 10 years.

I'm old enough to remember the horror and gnashing of teeth when Concealed Carry was proposed in Texas.

The media assured us there would be gun battles in the streets every 15 minutes over contested parking spaces if filthy sinner humans were allowed to carry self-defense weapons.

The exact opposite happened.

Homicides rates:
 United States   4.8[9]
 Germany   0.8

Much more to come...

Compared to say Canada the homicide rate are much lower as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate  10.3 as compared Canada 2.38. Mexico has 11.17  and Australia 1.06

I wonder why Japan has such unbelievable low rates...

Interesting read:

But it offers no real explanation other than culture.

It's like the robberies made in Spain by Romanians who have received spanish nationality. They are added to the wrong column in statistics Smiley.

1608  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine... Revolution. on: June 07, 2014, 03:26:14 PM
Again.. most of the casualties in the civilian sector was caused by the Georgian soldiers , you said , so you acknowledge there ere casualties made by the Russian soldiers.

There might have been some collateral deaths to the civilians. But the Russians never confronted the civilian population during the 2008 conflict. Some looting and arson was there, but the South Ossetian army was the one which is responsible.

Were you there?

No , he wasn't .
More interesting is that he never set foot in the us  russia or china.
But he knows more than any of us about what's REALLY going there.

Bad news for the Crimean football clubs.  Angry

Crimean clubs out of Russian league next season

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2014/soccer/wires/06/07/2050.ap.soc.russia.crimea.1st.ld.writethru.0357/index.html

The Russian Football Union was supportive of the move, but the pressure from FIFA and UEFA forced them to think otherwise.

It's not like that entirely true.. they haven't forced them they asked for a delay.

They voted no before a final answer from the FIFA to shift the blame afterwards.
Typical

Quote
However, a Russian Football Union conference voted to put off a decision, citing requests from FIFA and UEFA for a delay.
''There are no chances whatsoever for the Crimean clubs to make the start of the Russian championship,'' Vyacheslav Koloskov, honorary president of the union and a former FIFA vice president, told local media.
On Friday, the Football Federation of Ukraine said it remained opposed to Russian control of Crimean football teams and would pursue the issue with FIFA and UEFA.

The resistance fighters shot down an AN-30 recon plane near Slavjansk

Shooting down technically less-advanced aircraft such as AN-30 using the 9K38 Igla is not a big thing. The AN-30 is not capable of flying very quickly, and it does not have any anti-SAM systems with it. I am more interested about the claim by the DPA that they have shot down two Sukhoi Su-25 fighter jets over Slavyansk. If confirmed, it represents a major breakthrough for the rebels.

It is also good news for us.
If those planes follow the path of the plowing migs it helps build confidence our army will last 31 minutes not 30 against the red bear.

Besides lots of samoeds and aleut people were slaughter and those were not tatars. And god knows how many more natives.

The Samoyeds and Aleuts were living in the more remote parts of Siberia. They were contacted much later. Initially, the contacts were limited to the Ostyaks, Tatars and Voguls. The other smaller tribes were already decimated as a result of the inter-tribal warfare. When smallpox and other epidemics reached their lands, most of the tribes became extinct.

But this has happened not only in Siberia. It has happened in the Americas, Africa and Oceania.

Which again makes my point , the russians acted the same as the americans and english.

And just because they slaughter them after the tatars (later) doesn't really help.

Quote
In order to subjugate the natives and collect yasak (fur tribute), a series of winter outposts (zimovie) and forts (ostrogs) were built at the confluences of major rivers and streams and important portages. To ensure subjugation of the natives, the ostrogs of Yeniseysk (1619) and Krasnoyarsk (1628) were established.[4]

Quote
Following the khan's death and the dissolution of any organised Siberian resistance, the Russians advanced first towards Lake Baikal and then the Sea of Okhotsk and the Amur River. However, when they first reached the Chinese border they encountered people that were equipped with artillery pieces and here they halted.

Quote
At the hands of people like Vasilii Poyarkov in 1645 and Yerofei Khabarov in 1650 some peoples like the Dauri were slaughtered by the Russians to the extent that it is considered genocide. 8,000 out of a previously 20,000 strong population in Kamchatka remained after being subjected to half a century of Cossacks slaughter.[6] In the 1640s the Yakuts were subjected to slaughters during the Russian advance into their land near the Lena river, and on Kamchatka in the 1690s the Koryak, Kamchadals, and Chukchi were also subjected to slaughters by the Russians

Quote
In Kamchatka the Russians savagely crushed the Itelmens uprisings against their rule in 1706, 1731, and 1741
Quote
The Russians faced tougher resistance when from 1745-56 they tried to exterminate the gun and bow equipped Koraks until their victory

Quote
After the Russian defeat in 1729 at Chukchi hands, the Russian commander Major Pavlutskiy was responsible for the Russian war against the Chukchi and the mass slaughters and enslavement of Chukchi women and children in 1730-31, but his cruelty only made the Chukchis fight more fiercely.[9] A genocide of the Chukchis and Koraks was ordered by Empress Elizabeth in 1742 to totally expel them from their native lands and erase their culture through war.

Just because the enemy rapes 1000 woman doesn't give you the right to rape 100.

Rape? There were no reports of rape during the conflict of 2008. There might have been some civilian casualties, but most of them were caused by the Georgian troops.

And I really like you Russians (i suppose you don't mind I call you russian )

I do mind. Can I call you American just because you are supporting the US troops?

Where did I ever support them? My point is simple , they are not better than the Russians ones.
Us , Russia , the same damn thing.

And the comparison was simple , I just used rape instead of killing.
Again.. most of the casualties in the civilian sector was caused by the Georgian soldiers , you said , so you acknowledge there ere casualties made by the russian soldiers.

Quote
I never hear reports of Chinese soldiers raping women in Angola or Russian soldiers shooting civilians in Abkhazia.

No, no, no. You see why I said, that he could have formulated it better.
The sentence's meaning is: There a no other ways of solving this, but through peaceful means.

Got it , I was amazed when I first read it and when comparing to the damn Google translate it made the thing worse.
Ok , step one done , it took them two months.

I wonder when they will make a plan and when they will apply it.By the time everyone is dead?
1619  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VISA & MASTERCARD blocked Russians from accessing their money on: June 06, 2014, 03:56:51 PM
They did the same in Siberia as the americans and british in the US with the natives.

At the time of the Siberian conquest, that region was being ruled by the Tatars, who had enslaved the local population. Not saying that the Russians were any better than the Tatars, but the Russians didn't took the land from the original inhabitants. The Ostyaks and Voguls had already lost their land at the time of the Siberian conquest.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_conquest_of_Siberia

I know you don't like Wikipedia although  you quote it often , but look at the references.

Besides lots of samoeds and aleut people were slaughter and those were not tatars. And god knows how many more natives.

Also , the siberian khnate rulled by tatars was a small part of siberia.
And again as in the other thread , acting like an invader and killing the invader that got there first before you doesn't make you better.
1620  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine... Revolution. on: June 06, 2014, 03:51:36 PM

Not on the article but I saw this below:
http://www.interfax.ru/world/380007
Care to translate the last paragraph? He did say that there is NO solution for a peaceful end or that so solution has been discussed ?

He confirmed that there are no alternatives to solving this by peaceful means.

(He could have formulated it better, though.)
[/quote]

So they guy basically said , it will end when we kill them all or the rebels get killed.
I'm waiting for any other staments made by the guys with the real power and how they put it in their own words.

My opinion is still that this is turning into a never ending story like Syria.
