Bayern need an experienced goalkeeper, Ulreich can play well with most Bundesliga teams, but a stronger opponent will take advantage of their weakness in the last line of defense. Neuer has already broken into training with the main group of players today, so we may soon see him return to the game. Dortmund know how to educate talented players, they have proved this more than once, perhaps they already have those in the roster who can become new stars in the near future. The winning streak should be maintained by Real Madrid by this week as well. Because it is a home game against Getafe and I give no chance to them about stealing a point here. They are the only team when it comes to collecting full points in all games so far. I think they will maintain this streak for at least two more games.
Right after that there is an away game against Atletico Madrid which could be tricky. Because Atletico Madrid have also made a great start. Maybe they were bad against Betis but the compensation for that performance was incredible. They crushed Vallecano by 7-0 you know. Hopefully they can also stay in the title rivalry for a long time.

Milan are after Mehdi Taremi now and they are working on finishing the deal before the transfer window closes. They have offered 15 million euros in total for him. Taremi is a really decent striker now. His goal contribution to Porto in the previous season was really big. He is still their first choice this season as well.

I assume the biggest game of the week is Arsenal - Manchester United. Arsenal are quite highly favoured to win this game first of all. Actually there is only one point between these teams now. But I like Arsenal's game more than Manchester United anyway now. Manchester United are still dealing with some big issues with defending.
Big games can still be unpredictable of course. But I don't give the Red Devils much chance to win anyway. We have all seen how they played against Tottenham away. I expect them to struggle in this game as well. Arsenal can win this by one goal in my opinion.

Atletico Madrid have been comfortable in away games against Vallecano in the recent years. I think we can see a similar thing happening in this game as well. Their performance against Betis was really poor you know. They need to make up for that by making a good improvement and getting a win here. But they shouldn't underestimate their opponent at the same time.
Because Vallecano made even a better start than them by 2 away wins. They can motivate themselves to resist strongly in this game. If Atletico Madrid get ahead early it would be a big advantage. Breaking the defense of such smaller teams early helps a lot to find bigger spaces later on.

Nantes - Monaco was a quite interesting game. I mean the statistics of the game and the final score are just really unrelated.  Nantes have 3 shots in total in the whole game and all of them ended up with goals. In the meantime Monaco were just dominating in nearly every kind of statistics by far. Still they couldn't beat Nantes and barely saved one point by 3-3. It was even a comeback from 3-1 I mean. This must be one of the luckiest games in Nantes' history. Monaco are still the best starting team to the new season. It is like they are back in their old days for now. But for the rest of the season it is too early to talk about. |

Manchester City are the only team with 9 points in 3 games now. They have made a really solid start to the season and Haaland also continues as always. He missed a penalty against Sheffield United maybe but this was still not a hindrance for him to score a goal in the same game. A Manchester City supporter entered the pitch to celebrate the goal with him as well which was an interesting moment. As usual they are again the biggest title contender for the Premier League. I'm just wondering whether we would see a different team in top 4 again. Newcastle were an example for that in the previous season. They have had an unlucky fixture so far by the way. They got losses against Manchester City and Liverpool consecutively. Newcastle is having a bit of a hard time and I think this loss against a Liverpool team that was only with 10 men for so long could really tear them down quite a bit. Tottenham is interesting because it was expected that they are much worse off without Harry Kane, but so far they did a goob job in not letting that have a negative impact on them. But I would still say that Manchester City is far away from their best and De Bruyne is missing badly. But they have been more efficient than the others and that earns them the lead for now. I agree with your opinion on Tottenham's situation absolutely. They are really doing much better than the expected for now. Honestly they weren't able to become successful in Kane's presence. He was showing an amazing performance but still they weren't able to win any titles. They even finished the previous season at the 8th position despite Kane's scoring 30 goals. Therefore I thought that nothing would change even if they send Kane from the team this summer. For now they are even doing better but it isn't related to Kane of course. The team effort seems better which should have been like this a long time ago. |

Roma still want Romelu Lukaku but not on a permanent deal. They want him on loan instead. The reason must be Abraham's being about to return in January. Abraham is still a much better option for them normally. But they would make use of a good replacement for him in his absence to due to injury.
Lukaku can be considered as such candidate for the position. He is already looking forward to leaving the team and Chelsea are no different as well. But Chelsea lean towards a permanent deal rather than a loan one. Therefore I don't know whether they can agree terms.

It was a great joy for me to watch the Villarreal - Barcelona game today. There were insane comebacks which led Barcelona to win by an absurd score like 4-3. But I must really appreciate especially Villarreal's unbelievable comeback from 0-2 to 3-2. You are doing this against one of the biggest favourites of the title in the end.
Villarreal did everything they could but it was still not enough to resist Barcelona. Once again they couldn't beat Barcelona home. By scoring this many goals I think Barcelona will regain their usual performance faster. It was nice to see Lewandowski scoring his first goal too.
It's very attractive game. Villareal was strong enough in giving barcelona a hard game. Barcelona needs to dominate a half of field before the club was able making so many attacks against villareal. Some mistakes being made by villareal. What a significant result from barcelona. Impressive performance from yamal. This 16 years old guy has been performing even better compared with raphinha. It's a magic to see that 16 years old was able performing like a world class player. No raphinha but yes for yamal. Raphinha was not even better than yamal. Barcelona youth setup has always been amazing. They always manage to grow really skilled players from there. I think Yamal is one of those players. He has a good talent at this young age. He should play as much as possible to improve his skills much more. Dembele's departure is really helping him now. Xavi can have him in the starting lineup in the coming games as well after watching his effective football. He was nearly scoring a goal in this game as well.  |

By the way I wouldn't like to overlook Union Berlin's great start as well. They demolished Mainz and Darmstadt both by the same score, 4-1. This start reminded me of their high effort in the previous season. They were a part of the title race for a long time as you can remember. I'm not sure about that this time but maybe they can be competitive for top positions again.
In the same way Leverkusen are also pretty consistent. Gladbach and Leipzig can be considered as tough fixtures for the beginning of a season. But Leverkusen still beat them both. Xabi Alonso is really the right man for this team and I hope to see them being very competitive for top 4.

Inter are going to play the last game of the week today. Their opponent is Cagliari and I believe that this game should be a comfortable one for them. Maybe it is just the beginning but they started the season well by a win. This should be some help to maintain a winning streak by this away game. But their odds given are quite low so I don't know if I would add it to my betslip.
Inter and Napoli are the biggest favourites to become champions. Inter should be able to continue to keep up with Napoli on this week as well. Alexis Sanchez is back at Inter by the way. But I wonder how often we can see him in the starting eleven beside Martinez.

What is going on with Lazio now? They have got another loss against Genoa this time just now. It is still 0 points after 2 weeks left behind. Lecce and Genoa were both teams that they could have beaten normally. Teams might not be fully ready at the beginning of the season sometimes of course. But this is still something else I believe.
In the end there is still a huge quality gap between Lazio and those teams. Whatever is going on they had better work on a solution for it. Lazio should be a team fighting for top four in my opinion. Their squad quality is good enough to compete for this goal.

What a comeback by Liverpool! Today they played a game in which they weren't even shown as the favourite side to win. Bookmakers were believing that Newcastle were the closer side to make it. However Liverpool beat them away last season while Newcastle were having a wonderful season as well.
But of course after seeing that Newcastle got ahead first and Liverpool got a red card I didn't give Liverpool much chance. Even getting a draw was seeming difficult to me. But Liverpool didn't even make do with that. Nunez became the game changer in this game a short time after he entered really.

It is really unbelievable that Sevilla lost again. They are currently the worst team of the season so far with being the only team having 0 points. This time they lost to Girona home in a game I expected the opposite to happen honestly. There is a goal by Rakitic disallowed due to offside. But even if it was counted I wouldn't have still been confident of them.
I don't know what is going on for now. In the previous season Sevilla started to do better in the La Liga as of Mendilibar's arrival. But now they are back to their poor look in the league once again. Maybe it is the first weeks but they should do something as fast as possible anyway.
This is the same as what happened at the start of last season and Sevilla didn't fix it either, even though if you see the players they have are not much different from their good performance at the end of last season, this is a little surprising indeed and this week's defeat was quite painful to happen in front of their own people. It's been 3 matches without the same points, this is a pretty bad start to the season and in this match I really regret predicting that Sevilla will rise, I lost a lot of my bets. And on the other hand, the Cadiz vs Almeria match was also very dramatic this week, Cadiz took the lead first and Almeria had to play with their 10 players, but the Almeria team was able to equalize the score to 1-1 and there was tension at the end of the match so that one of the Cadiz players also got a red card. Other match, Milan still in the positive trend after winning against Torino, most impressive performance from Cristian Pulisic and Oliver Giroud unstoppable for scoring goals, Pulisic scored one goals and Giroud have contributed with two goals scoring although through penalty kick.
So far so good for Milan for now. This is another victory for them by a really satisfying score like 4-1. Giroud is still like a goal machine despite being 36 years old. This was his third goal in his second league game this season. Many people including me were doubtful about his performance this season but he is even better for now. Being a world class player has also big benefits. Even when you are old you mostly keep your shape solid and continue to score many goals. This isn't valid for every such player now maybe but it is for most of them. Okafor was signed but he isn't in the starting lineup yet. |

This was another time Dortmund losing points against Bochum away. Stuttgart's demolishing Bochum on the first week was really misleading. Dortmund couldn't stand strong against them in the same way unfortunately. But I'm not surprised with this kind of results for Dortmund anymore. Because I already know they aren't a consistent team as much as Bayern Munich in general.
This has always been the main reason of not being challenging for the league title most of the time. Today most probably Bayern Munich would continue from where they left by beating Augsburg home. Kane made a good start to the season and maybe we can see him scoring again here.
