1761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 10, 2022, 11:53:45 AM
Have you seen the SMB vs Blackwater game?

That game was really entertaining and Blackwater really prove that they are a championship team.
SMB needed an OT to beat the Blackwater because of Fajardo's 2 missed FT when only 3 seconds left in the game.
Overall, it's a good game by Blackwater, they are a threat I believe.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 09, 2022, 01:11:12 PM

And he has been criticized as well by many basketball analyst, leaving Nets and then the Warriors winning the championship? That could really hurt Durant inside that's why he wanted to leave and find a new team to win again. But time is running out, it will be hard to find a championship caliber team in exchange of him.

Actually Durant should not be surprise that the Warriors won a championship because the Warriors are already a championship team before he joined the team. He only made the Warriors better but they are still good even without him, as Draymond said, "we don't need you", he was right.

https://nba.nbcsports.com/2018/11/16/draymond-green-reportedly-told-kevin-durant-we-dont-need-you-we-won-without-you-leave/

This is the reason why Durant join the Warriors because he know that this is already a championship caliber team and he will get more higher chances to get a ring with them compare if he stays in OKC. Now its proven that he cannot lift up his team when he's on Brooklyn and this one indicate that they don't need Durant to win another championship.

Durant had a good season with OKC, if they only continue to build their team, they might become a championship team, but he took the shortcut, win a championship by joining a good team and leaving to prove that he does not need the Warriors, turns out he was wrong, so he cannot come back to the Warriors now. I cannot imagine what Green is thinking about him now.  Smiley

Green has to be so happy, especially that they won a championship without him.

He was correct, they don't need Durant, and actually, the Warriors are fun to watch without Durant as they are not unbeatable, we see that they have struggled but in the end, they were able to conquer everything and win the championship.

Curry is probably better than Durant, who would agree with that?
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 09, 2022, 12:19:23 PM
It's very obvious that most voters here are Filipinos, so we cannot prevent but to be biased because we believe that Magsayo will win and we support him. Yes, we will be seeing this big fight tomorrow, but I'm not sure how to watch this, is there any streaming site that would give a free pass for this event?
1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hodlers are actively buying bitcoin these days on: July 08, 2022, 08:17:41 PM
This is always the case, there is no place for the weak in this world, they are always losers, unfortunately a large number of bitcoin holders put everything they have in buying bitcoin so when the bitcoin drops significantly they panic to lose all their money so they panic sell at a low price and here comes an opportunity Big whales to catch small fish and get stuffed up, panic selling is a big mistake that these people make because instead of saving their money they will lose a lot, if they are a little patient to avoid this loss and get additional profits as well.
Weak hands will never be totally successful and profitable because their mindset are only limited, and they easily quit and panic every time the market crashes. In the end, they only sell for a loss that made them become poorer. While those strong hands and big whales in the market are just waiting for good opportunities to take advantage, and buying bitcoin at a very discounted price will always be their most awaited moment to store a lot of bitcoin and hold them for long term.
1765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why I won't be buying top altcoins in this bear market on: July 08, 2022, 06:40:24 PM
1. Many altcoins will never reach their all time high again.
2. Don't be fooled by altcoin ranks on coinmarketcap because many won't stay in top 20 anymore after we go deep into this bear market.
3. History have proven that many altcoins will be replaced by new ones and that's where huge investors will be making most of their gains in next bull market.

Altcoin investment is too risky especially when the market is in a deep bearish. Some may look very tempting because of their cheap value but the question is if they can survive if the market remains to be in a long term bearish. I believe those who don't have real utility cases won't sustain their value and eventually get lost in the market. So do not take the risk investing in altcoins particularly if you are still a newbie. Instead, stick on bitcoin and invest for long term because its the safest investment that would make you profitable as long as you sell it at a high and reasonable value.
1766  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for who are witnessing this market for the first time. on: July 07, 2022, 09:40:43 PM
Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
Be positive. The market is not just all about going to the top, but it has certainly its own lows and uncertainties. So do not make wrong moves like panic selling or leaving the market because all these things are only for temporary reasons. The crypto market is consistently moving, and when the bearish season will be over, the bullish one will certainly be around. So if you to make the most of profits in the future, then consider buying a lot of bitcoins by now so you can sell them at a highly profitable value in the future.
1767  Economy / Economics / Re: From Sideways to Downhill on: July 07, 2022, 08:22:29 PM
This could go far down even below $20k, nobody knows what happens next. After the crypto market losses $100b it immediately drops $25k level and currently Btc continued to fall down as it's currently trading at $23,700+.
Please replace that " now what" type of mindset coz this the "this is it" situation. This is what the crypto enthusiast is looking for. A good entry point.
Right now, bitcoin has already hit $21k but that won't guarantee that bitcoin will continue to surge and skyrocket. As the bear market continues and still very visible, then bitcoin will always be affected and will eventually drop its price again to a much lower value. While others have already doubted the potentials of bitcoin and expect that its price is hardly to recover, strong hands too are now seizing the opportunities to accumulate a lot of bitcoin while the price is still having a big crash.
1768  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be safe from Hackers on: July 06, 2022, 09:52:45 PM
It’s very suspicious to see a giveaway launch on official government social media account especially if it’s involved crypto and providing private key to there registration form. Hacker can hack almost anyone on social media if they will allocate resources on it so it’s important for people to educate about this kind of scam scheme to avoid being a victim in the future. I believe many newbie fall victim on this especially those follower of that particular page because it looks legit at first glance and if you didn’t know exactly how this kind of modus work.
Most of the time, those who looks too good to be true are mostly the one with red flags that make it as scams. Sadly, only few people have realized this and that it takes a wise and knowledgeable individual not to fall for victims from scamming. But as they say, the more knowledgeable we become, scammers have always taken an edge. They can always be more than we can expect.
1769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China warns Bitcoin is heading to zero on: July 06, 2022, 09:30:47 PM
Official Chinese national news media outlet warns readers that Bitcoin could go to zero value in order to dissuade them from investing in and using cryptocurrency.

The Chinese government has capitalized on the violent downturn in the crypto market by warning crypto investors that Bitcoin prices are “heading to zero.”

The South China Morning Post reported on June 22 that Chinese national news media agency Economic Daily had issued the warning about the largest cryptocurrency by market cap to further dissuade citizens from adopting the use of crypto.

The Economic Daily report says the west is to blame for creating a highly-leveraged market that is “full of manipulation and pseudo-technology concepts” which it said was an “important external factor” which contributes to Bitcoin’s volatility.

“Bitcoin is nothing more than a string of digital codes, and its returns mainly come from buying low and selling high,” said the newspaper.

As of the time of writing, BTC is trading at $20,386, 71% down from its high and 0.7% down over the past 24 hours according to CoinGecko.

(source: Cointelegraph)
Well, what do you expect from China? Remember that they never stop attacking bitcoin because it was a threat to their own official currency, Yuan. So this is just another way of creating FUDs in the market so that all those newbies will be confused again and end up panic selling, which considered the most favorite scene for big whales. The fact is bitcoin will never go to zero value, as long as there is always the community demand for bitcoin.
1770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trading during bear market can save your portfolio on: July 05, 2022, 09:38:56 PM
I did some trading stunt recently that made me to marvel. And am beginning to see my trading skills as a force to reckon with, i studied the market during last last 2 years and have realised that floating with the market can earn you good profits that you can imagine. Take for example if you bought Bitcoin when the price dropped to 19k by now you will be making 30% profits so here is my strategy i hold alot of ustd>buy during the dip sell buy buy and buy again since am holding large ustd.
Trading in times of uncertainties like today when the whole market is deeply bearish, it just creates less hope for traders to succeed. It takes a lot of experience and expertise to finally succeed in trading when the market is down. That is why a lot of traders decided not to do trading when the market is unstable because it will only create unavoidable losses than to make possible gains in the market. Although others have come to succeed, but definitely most of the traders fail even if they have great strategies.
1771  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we reached a bottom price for BTC? on: July 05, 2022, 09:11:45 PM
Bitcoin seems to be struggling to get past $20k - $21k over the past days. There's a possibility it could go further down the drain due to the worsening of the global economy. Some say BTC will go all the way down to $15k within a matter of months, while others say BTC will be worth less than $10k soon. The market is extremely unpredictable right now, so it's hard to tell if BTC has reached the bottom, or if there's still room for a further downtrend in price. I'd be surprised if BTC continues to fall down in price all the way to $8k and below. Our only hope would be the next BTC halving and a swift recovery of the global economy.

What do you think? Has BTC reached the bottom? Will you buy more regardless of BTC's current market price? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
If you are asking if bitcoin has already hit its bottom, no one can tell precisely. But most likely, bitcoin will still create further price decline considering that we are still in a long bear market. And if ever the price settles below $10k, i won't be surprise because everything in the market even in stocks or bonds are also falling. But always know that the lower the price of bitcoin, the bigger the opportunity we can maximize our profits when the market turns into bullish.
1772  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How quick does the market grow during bull market? on: July 04, 2022, 09:59:00 PM
Hi ,

First started crypto in February this year so am new to all of this and the current bear market we are going through.

I have so far invested £4,500 and my portfolio is down 45%. I have not sold any of my positions and have kept buying at these low prices with the intention of holding until the bull market comes and I can cash out some nice profits.

I have been dollar cost averaging the last 5-6 weeks since we had our first real crash in May which means I now have pretty good average buys for all my holdings so hopefully when the bull market does come again it will take no time at all for me to be in profit.

I understand none of us know exactly when the next bull market will be here but I am just wondering if anyone could give me their experience with what it was like during previous bull markets and how fast we can expect our investments to grow again?

Bull market will have its own way to make you experience the best of profits, and you will only know that its happening already if the market is not bloody anymore and that all the coins are experiencing positive price feedbacks. For now, just focus more on buying and long term hodling, because that will be your best source of profits when the market starts to recover. Though it may not happen so soon as the market is still in a deep crash, but just continue to have positive mindset and never be enticed to do panic selling as it will only lose everything you have.
1773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't sell your precious BTC to the whales! on: July 04, 2022, 09:04:13 PM
I know that you have been holding Bitcoin for years now mate,  Grin

And it's good to hear that from you reminding us again how precious BTC is, as the supply is dwindling. And currently, the price is now below the threshold of $25,000 and there are a lot of panic sellers, pushing the sell button and they might regret their decisions in the future if the price goes to $100,000 minimum. The whales though are going to be happy scooping cheap bitcoin from beginners and panic sellers. But it is what it is, those who are selling today might have to learn it the hard and expensive way.
Thank you for the encouragement OP, but it does not change the fact that all panic sellers will only end up regretting in the end, as they fail to realize that bitcoin will not stay always on the top, but it also falls down to pave way for more bigger opportunities for us to earn and build wealth. And that's something that whales have in mind, to shake the market so that all those weak hands are going to sell and they will be happily buying their cheap bitcoin, something that newbies should learn to ponder.
1774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every "Bitcoin is Dead Headline" is a Buying Opportunity on: July 03, 2022, 04:29:31 PM
Every "Bitcoin is Dead Headline" is a Buying Opportunity

I remember how many times people spread FUD by saying Bitcoin is heading to dead, Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme, Bitcoin is a scam, Bitcoin is too risky, and many more FUD that we have faced so far.
But see? I agree with CZ. Every time they spread the FUD and the FUD is gett8ng bigger, the price of Bitcoin will be dropped enough. And this time is utilized by whales to buy at the dip or at a certain market correction. Whales take the advantage of panic people who panic by selling at a lower price. It is a discount time for buyers at this time.
I don’t see why people get fooled with this FUDs and end up believing them, where in fact this is just to lure those weak hands so they get panic and sell their coins. I just hope that they will come to realize that whales become richer because they pave way for that while leaving these poor people become the poorest because they never acted as whales and think like them so they can also take advantage with the market crash opportunities.
1775  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: July 03, 2022, 03:56:12 PM
This does not need to come from popular marketing guy or rich person really, this thought is way logical and everyone should understand the benefits of buying in the bearish market like this. It’s simple logic, things are discounted and cheaper than ever before, it’s not out dated and has confirmed value in the future so it’s not big deal really. Just buy it. All we have to do is wait for some specific duration ahead and the result of this would be profits.  The longer you wait the higher the profits.
I guess it’s easy to say but actually hard to do and understand for those who only want to see the market at its bullish season and just want to make profits the whole time. Unfortunately, the crypto market does not only revolve from it, but certainly a bearish season will also hit the market when it’s its turn. So when the market crash is already here, a lot have started to doubt the market and eventually leave, while leaving those wise investors with strong hands take advantage on the market and start to build their own wealth, a single fact that most people are unaware and just regret when the market recovers as they have missed another golden opportunity to get rich.
1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we gradually approaching towards the end of Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2022, 03:29:01 PM
The precarious cryptocurrency market has been made worse by cryptocurrency lender Celsius' June declaration that it is banning withdrawals owing to "extreme market conditions." Following the market meltdown, crypto hedge fund Three Arrows Capital might possibly be insolvent. Three Arrows Capital has entered liquidation, worsening the crisis gripping the whole world's market for digital assets. Three Arrows was is also considering alternatives including the sale of assets or a firm's rescue.
https://news.sky.com/story/crypto-hedge-fund-three-arrows-capital-plunges-into-liquidation-12642402

With the continuous downslide of the Bitcoin and the crypto market at large, is it too soon to say that we might likely be witnessing the end of it all?
This is not the first time to happen in the market that bitcoin was doomed and has dropped so much to the extent of reaching $3k, did it end there? No, because it’s only part of having a downward trend every time the bear season hits the market. And eventually, it also recovers in time. So same what’s happening today, bitcoin will continue to drop and ends up in its bottom, sadly none of us knows as to what bottom price will bitcoin settle.
1777  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The fear of Negative trust and Ban on: July 02, 2022, 08:40:55 PM
I have no idea why you need to worry about those stuffs when it's really easy to prevent it.

Negative trust: This mostly because they're scam and cheating in the same campaign.
Ban: Mostly because plagiarism, shitposter have very low chance for being banned.

This mean, if you're create a post and include all the original sources, also didn't have intention to become bad people, you're 100% fine.
As long as your intention is pure and won't do anything bad that could harm the forum and make your own account be at stake, then you are free from tagging with negative trust and banning. Although there are some light mistakes in the forum that are somehow unavoidable, like posting with low content particularly for newbies, or sometimes off-topic, but as you grow and mature in the market, these mistakes will also be corrected and you get to improve your performance in the forum and become a potential one.
1778  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The cryptocurrency market is currently a hot spot for whales. on: July 02, 2022, 08:17:57 PM
Whales have money saved up aside, it is both liquid, and also things that are in assets which could be liquidated if they wanted to and could make a good profit from it as well. Like for example if you have tens of millions of dollars in just cash sitting then you are not really a proper rich person, the real rich person would have negative on their bank accounts because their money would be working somewhere for them, not sitting.

So, if we are talking about a bear market, they will overleverage their position and get some debt and put it here, because they know that they could pay that back with the income they have anyway, and price would go up faster than the repayment.
Whales will always know what's best for them, and that investing their money particularly in crypto and let them grow after a year or two will always be their aim. Also, they can manipulate the market with their tons of money, and screw the people and eventually the weak hands fall for them. While some have never been richer, but these whales who often took the best opportunities in the market will never become poorer but will always try to accumulate more wealth and make them more wealthy.
1779  Economy / Economics / Re: You win or you learn. on: July 02, 2022, 07:59:03 PM
Now I know how cash circulates into the crypto markets. I know fundamentals are the most important part of a project. I again could do mistakes in the next bull season but I will be more mature than to handle the situation. I do take some losses but the lesson it gave me would save a hell lot of money in the future.

Yes, when I entered crypto, it was 2017, so there is a massive bull run and thought of quitting my job to focus more on crypto trading. But then again, the bear market sets in and it's good that I didn't quit my job otherwise I don't have enough money to put in the table. So maybe that time I really FOMO and yeah, I was inexperienced because I never seen a bearish cycle. I'm more mature now and really saving for the future and still investing in this bearish trend because it's where the money can be made for the future.
People who only fall for FOMO are those who are less knowledgeable and are motivated by greed, so good thing you didn't fall for that. Although there are still inevitable losses no matter how we invest with caution, but the fact that we become mature to handle all the uncertainties in crypto, investing in crypto particularly in times of market crash will always risky but you'll know you'll win if you remain strong and persistent until the market turns into bullish.
1780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 30, 2022, 08:41:51 PM

I think they are already past in their negotiations of purse cuts because Spence already openly said in the public that he should have the bigger slice and that means no lower than 60% purse cut while Crawford will really take the remaining 40% cut of the purse because he's been calling this fight for long and this is the closest thing he's been into against Spence and he surely knows that he can't afford to get this undisputed match for long because he will be a year inactive soon.

If they want to settle the fight in October then they should announce it no later than mid of July because they still have to prepare for that fight.

They should announce it for better preparation and for the fans to get engaged with the possible upcoming fight,

Unless they are planning for another alternative to promote the fight, access like social media and more hypes while still in
the process, and this kind of writeups and temporary delayed of the final announcement can also be used to engage people's
interest, but I agree that July might be the best time to announce the realization of this possible upcoming fight to announce.
I couldn't agree more! Even if Crawford and Spence are sure that the fight will happen in October (expected month) and they might already preparing for the fight. They should tell and announce it to the fans and the whole boxing industry that they will indeed having a fight in October so that the fans won't just expect for nothing. Having it announced much early will also be a help to promote and sell the fight, so I hope that they will really announce it this mid of July or earlier than that if possible.
