No no scherzi?

Ricordo che tanti europei han già fatto all time high in queste condizioni, il Nasdaq è già in modalità missile e titoli come Apple è di nuovo in all time high. Il gold ha gia fatto all time high etc..
1762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges on: June 18, 2023, 05:29:21 PM
SEC right now is hunting every exchanges in US
So? The US don't understand they're just throwing away a huge opportunity to make a ton of money and bring even more money. At this point is clear that the SEC is abusing its power because they don't make clear rules, they don't give explanations, they don't answer, the only thing is trying to fine/sue/shut down exchanges just because someone else told them to do it. Several congressmen are asking for a serious investigation within the SEC.
1763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smart Way to Introduce Bitcoin to Relatives, Spouse or Family on: June 18, 2023, 04:33:15 PM
Due to the volatility of Bitcoin, I would never introduce it to my near and dear ones. People only respond to Bitcoin and are eager to get it when it creates a history (I meant All Time High). I believe that is the right time to talk about it otherwise we would only get negative response in the present situation. Everything is working out good for now and I believe Bitcoin would scale 10 notches up in adoption by next year. Patience and positive approach are the reason we are scaling up.
I don't understand why you shouldn't talk about bitcoin with them: they don't necessarily need to invest but at least being aware of what bitcoin is, why it was invented, and what its purpose is, all that is extremely important and useful because if they actually care about money, finance, and their future, they'll start asking themselves some questions that probably they never considered before.
1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is it to keep your bitcoin investments secret from others ? on: June 18, 2023, 04:30:10 PM
Recently, I came to read this news

https://protos.com/spanish-police-rescue-crypto-investor-kidnapped-on-holiday/

The first thing that came to my mind after reading this was that one should not talk about his crypto investments with strangers or friends as it can pose various risks. If you are active on forums like bitcointalk and involved in trades, you should not give information which can help others relate to your identity.
Of course, especially in forums like this, it's always better not to give any personal information to strangers but at the same time let's also try to be real: kidnapping someone is a serious crime, if someone does something like that it's because they know that person has a lot of money, so someone in that position should always be careful. I don't think someone would blindly kidnap the average Joe to steal $2k of BTC.
1765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 18, 2023, 04:08:23 PM
Although I still studied, I invested a small amount in Bitcoin. I will get married if I get a good job. Many people give many things to their wives as wedding gifts, I have a different plan. I am planning to gift bitcoin to my wife on her wedding day. Bitcoin is still illegal in my country so I invested with caution. On my wedding day I want to gift half of my investment to my wife.
Should I gift bitcoin to my wife? I want your advice
I'm sure brides dream many things for their wedding day, things that maybe they have been dreaming around since they were kids, and I'm pretty sure bitcoin is not on that list Grin If you want to buy BTC as future investment for you, as a couple, that's a great idea, but I would never give her BTC on wedding day, choose something that you know she will actually love. Don't screw up that day.
1766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden administration will kill Bitcoin! Says Ron DeSantis. on: June 18, 2023, 04:05:06 PM
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis officially launched his presidential campaign on Wednesday evening, setting out his priorities during a glitch-filled Twitter Spaces event with Elon Musk. His statement included familiar red meat for the Republican base, including tirades over Disney and “woke” corporations but also an extended riff on crypto.

“You have every right to do Bitcoin. The only reason these people in Washington don’t like it is because they don’t control it…I think that the current regime, clearly they have it out for Bitcoin, and if it continues for another four years, you know, they’ll probably end up killing it,” he said, while claiming Bitcoin is a threat to the “central planners” in the Biden administration who wish to control everything.

Is Ron DeSantis right about his comments or wrong?
:https://www.google.com/url?q=https://fortune.com/crypto/2023/05/25/ron-desantis-goes-crypto-says-the-biden-administration-will-kill-bitcoin/&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjrvNr1spH_AhWERsAKHaxGCCAQxfQBegQIBRAC&usg=AOvVaw3bNq-oiqKE2fQqGPCC0o0U
First of all I want to say that I don't like Biden, at all, I see him as one of the most useless presidents in the US history, oftentimes I even forget he's the president... Anyway, even thought the US are one of the most important countries in the world they have no way to kill bitcoin while the rest of the world is actually starting to embrace it. It's actually even counterproductive for them, it would be a decision that doesn't make any any sense, they have everything to lose, not bitcoin.

1768  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: BITCOIN PUMP! on: June 18, 2023, 03:57:37 PM

https://it.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exchange-traded_fund

1770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges on: June 17, 2023, 03:52:13 PM
I have recently started to be interested in the issue of cryptocurrency, please, tell me which exchanges are considered the safest and most convenient?
Based on my personal experience I would say Binance and Kraken but I also like KuCoin when I need to buy some altcoin that is not yet on Binance. A long time ago I used Bitstamp, never had any problem, I know they're still around so I guess they're solid. Anyway remember that you're supposed to buy and move your funds out of the exchange, don't use it as a wallet, it's called exchange for a reason.
1771  Other / Archival / Re: No panic while holding my Bitcoin on: June 17, 2023, 03:05:56 AM
if I wait I will soon be in profit again very soon, that is what past records have shown and proven.
For sure you chose a good moment to buy your first bitcoin thanks to the recent (small) dump, so congratulations, especially for buying a full bitcoin, not too many people can do something like that nowadays. Regarding being in profit soon, who knows? You know you have to wait, and that's good, but you must be prepared to wait also 1 year or even more, so if I were you I would mentally prepare for this kind of scenario.
1772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: June 16, 2023, 11:22:55 PM
Yes!
you got the topic very correct and I do mean it because after my last thread, I was actually wondering  the essences of having all the knowledge  about bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large and still don't have the money to buy, I just feel its a waste of effort and such a person  with all his knowledge  will definitely miss out of the opportunities in bitcoin and I'm  on the opinion  that people still need to always have some form of money at all time to buy bitcoin especially  at every instance a dip arises and I want to know the essence of wanting to crowd ones brain Brain with so much about bitcoin  when such a person doesn't have any more to buy rather than seeking ways to buy?
Knowledge is never useless. That is actually one of the worst sentences I've ever read on this forum. Many people make/inherit big sums of money but have no knowledge of how money and finance work and they end up completely broke. If you have knowledge about bitcoin it probably means that you have a better knowledge of money than the average Joe so probably you should know how to save and invest money in order to get more satoshi/bitcoin.

Mink.a… maicchelè un forum di pizzaioli???  Grin Grin Grin

Grandi 🇮🇹 🇮🇹 🇮🇹 👍🏻

1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you tired of waiting for the jump? Pls Hodl on: June 16, 2023, 07:11:31 PM
This is not the first time bitcoin is experiencing price drop, it only needs few time; months or years to correct and hit another ATH. Few years back many investors took the loss and cashed out their money, believing that bitcoin settled for lesser price. Don't be in such a hurry to move out your investment; bitcoin is falling in price so that it can rise up again. Below is a tweet of a bitcoin investor 12 years ago, that should encourage people to hodl and hope for the best in the market. I know some will never sell, when it hits a high price, but for profits purposes there's no gain in withdrawing an investment now that the price is below or slightly above the amount you bought in the market. Unless you depend on the funds for survival or for other important dispute, keep holding on. Tom only had to wait for 6 years to meet the 2017 pump; a long time indeed! Isn't the wait worth it?
I'm a hodler but I understand people who decide to sell. Waiting for years and years can take a pretty important psychological toll on some people, especially if they invested more than what they were supposed to do and now they need the money. You're if the wait is worth, well, it depends: those who sold at $60-65k for sure now are in better position than the hodlers, they had the chance to buy 2-3 times more bitcoin than what they had before. I would say that usually hodling is the best strategy but sometimes we need to understand that maybe we should also sell something, maybe like 20-30%.

1777  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Fisco / Tasse / Legge sul Bitcoin on: June 16, 2023, 04:10:17 PM

1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A portion of my clothing store's weekly profit is invested in Bitcoin on: June 15, 2023, 08:22:09 PM
I have a small cloth shop. Currently everything in my own country is very expensive, so we are facing many problems in our life. The shop I have used to sell well. But now due to the increase in price, there are not as many customers or sales as before. Again. On top of that I have to pay rent for the shop which has become a bit difficult for me. After entering this platform I got to know Bitcoin. Then after browsing many places I realized that I can earn money by investing in Bitcoin. So I want to invest in Bitcoin. So I have my weekly I decided to invest in bitcoin from a profit share. I think I made the right decision. I hope that I can use my bitcoin profit for other purposes. Hope you guys can help me with good advice.
The only good advice is not even actually an advice, it's just a hope: hope that you carefully valued pros and cons, hope that you're aware that cryptos are very volatile, including bitcoin, and hope that you won't need the money you invested in the short term, otherwise you may have to sell at loss. Besides all that, I think it's a good idea, especially in the long term.

How many people are actively using the Discord channel? Are we talking about thousands and thousand of users of just a few?
At the moment, I don't think that number ishigher than a few dozens max.
Is there an actual reason to have a Discord channel besides the forum? Or was it just an experiment that was worth trying but in the end didn't work out?
I would say that answer is "yes" to both. I see no harm in having a Discord server where members could chat (at least those who prefer faster type of communication) but unfortunately things didn't work as planned (or hoped) as majority of members eventually lost the interest.
I have nothing against the Discord channel, I simply don't use it, let's say that I don't find very practical to ask tens of forum users to create a Discord account and join the server just to upload the pizzas and being able to vote, specially if the server is used by 20-30 people max, as you said. Besides of course the whole voting system that leaves plenty of space to cheat on Discord. Unfortunately the more I ask info, the less all this makes sense to me.
