Unfortunately Hojlund has an injury according to reports and he will be out for a couple of weeks. I was excited to watch him at Manchester United from the beginning but it looks like I will have to wait for a little longer. Hopefully he doesn't miss many games as he would need to go training to reach match fitness as well.

The more he plays in official games the better he can improve his game in a shorter time. I have loved to watch his performance for Denmark so far. I would love to see the same effort in the Premier League as well. But the competition is at the highest level in this league so he will need to work really hard.

It looks like Inter have lost Scamacca to Atalanta in the last minute. I'm also quite surprised with that because I didn't even hear Atalanta's name until the moment I learned about this. Atalanta are paying 25 million euros plus 5 million euros bonuses to sign him. Inter's waiting too much caused them to lose their target to another team.

It is nice to see Scamacca back in the Serie A. He really belongs here. I remember how great his scoring skills were while he was playing for Sassuolo. I think Atalanta made a good signing after sending Hojlund as well. Because I expect Scamacca to be more productive to score goals for them.

de Gea was actually keen on staying at Manchester United. But he didn't want to take a pay cut at the same time. Manchester United didn't want to give the amount of money he wanted anymore and that was the reason why he became free agent later. Otherwise de Gea was quite happy to be there.

A goalkeeper like de Gea shouldn't stay as free agent for a long time. Hopefully Bayern Munich or some other top European team act quicker than Saudi Arabian teams. Because I don't want to see him leaving Europe yet as he is a really quality goalkeeper and his age is also not that old for a goalkeeper yet.

Sevilla are a quite interesting team that they can win the Europa League title even when they are having a bad season generally. I really don't know how they can be this successful there even in this kind of situation. There are big candidates to win that title except them as well in the end. But they somehow collect themselves and give their 100% to the tournament.

But despite winning the title in the previous season they still need to improve their La Liga performance on one hand. Because previously they were quite bad and started to get positive results quite late in the season. This team need to be able to play for top 4 as much as possible.

Having one of the best attacking lines doesn't guarantee the Champions League title for any them. I also agree with that. I don't believe the main reason behind the failure was that trio of course. Neymar was leaving Messi and Mbappe alone for a long time because of having lasting injuries maybe but they are still not the main reason.

The main reason has always been related to the understanding of management here. This team hasn't been managed very well so far and it has been only able to achieve domestic titles the most. If the other teams were more competitive in the Ligue 1 then they would have big struggles here as well.

Chelsea to win the Premier League title? It is a really far possibility for now. We need to be realistic now. Chelsea had a very poor season and they are going to try to collect themselves new. Pochettino can hopefully be the savior for them this season. Even if they are seen in the fight for top four during this season it would still be a serious progress for them.

While Manchester City are in this condition it is really difficult for any other team to make it to the title. I know Arsenal did a great job during most of the previous season. But it is hard to expect that from Chelsea for now without seeing their new season look.

I understand Roma that their priority is to maintain current squad integrity. After that they want to make some decent additions to the squad to get stronger. But they never spend a huge deal of money for a transfer. Yeah there have been really only free transfers made by them so far. But there is still another whole month for the transfer window to be closed.

They made really good transfers last summer and most of them were free transfers again. They are again aiming to close another transfer window with the minimum number of money spent. We will see whether it will be enough to finish a season in top four finally.

Manchester City are continuing to strengthen their squad even more by new transfers. Gvardiol is set to sign for them officially and I have no doubt it won't take him much time to take his place in the starting lineup. He is a very talented young defender who deserves to play at the highest level now. No need to be surprised about why Leipzig wanted around 100 million euros for him. 

They don't need to make big changes in their starting lineup of course. But small touches like this can be really important to maintain success. But despite being an absolute favourite this is still the Champions League where it isn't easy to become champions repeatedly.

Alvaro Morata has been one of the most rumoured players to leave at Atletico Madrid. The rumours have been coming from everywhere like from European teams to Saudi Arabian teams. But still there is update on that lately. Felix's returning to the team has raised these rumours. Felix is also in these rumours so maybe one of these strikers can really leave before the transfer window closes.

I don't think Felix would be signed permanently considering Atletico Madrid ask too much money for his transfer fee. Maybe he would be loaned again. If he doesn't then I think Morata will be the leaving one. Maybe he would return to Italy if there is still interest from there.

Manchester City have been losing the Community Shield title to their opponents for two seasons. It is up to being completely ready for the new season too of course. But I don't think this time will be the same with those seasons. The opponent Arsenal are a tough team on paper maybe. But we are talking about Manchester City.

As long as the players are ready Manchester City should be able to win this game by a dominant performance. But I don't expect a big goal gap as it is the beginning of the season already. My score prediction is 2-1. Winning this title would be the strongest way to start this season.

After David Raya and David de Gea, Bono is also a candidate to be Bayern Munich's new goalkeeper according to rumours. But among all of these goalkeepers I would still favour de Gea to be the one to sign for them. I just can't see the other candidates at his level now. I know Bono impressed people in the last World Cup together with Livakovic.

But I don't think this is still good to be better than de Gea. I know de Gea's performance was better than now in the past but he is still a solid goalkeeper. I can't even remember the number of times he saved Manchester United by great saves in the recent times.

PSG are about to create a new trio in the attacking line with Dembele and Goncalo Ramos additions. These are the first steps of a big change at this team after Messi's departure. There is more to come after Mbappe leaves next summer most probably. Even when they had Messi, Mbappe and Neymar at the same time it didn't work out well for the Champions League.

Therefore I think change is good in this kind of situations. Who knows maybe the new version of this team in Luis Enrique's lead can do much better things. The team are getting younger with these transfers in the recent times too. I'm curious about their Champions League performance this season.

Luis Diaz can't be a good replacement in my opinion. He has played in only a few games as a centre-forward in his career and couldn't contribute in any way. He must be like the last resort. There isn't even any need for these things. They can easily find a replacement for Firmino actually. It doesn't have to be a big signing.

Nunez would be the main centre-forward of the team and it would be comforting to have a decent backup striker as well. There are so many strikers on the market who can fit this description easily so I hope Liverpool handle this situation well too.

I don't even know where Osimhen to Milan rumours came from. Because this is just nonsense to me now. Why would he leave a team which is in better condition? Let's say he wanted to join a much bigger team than I would understand. But Milan aren't a team that have had that kind of status in the recent times.

I would expect Osimhen to sign for only top European teams in other top leagues. I don't expect less than that to happen. Otherwise he would just continue his career at Napoli. They have already been reported to be working on a contract extension.

Vitor Roque isn't joining Barcelona this summer. There is already an agreement for him between sides but the transfer is going to be completed officially next summer. Besides technically Roque is a centre-forward but of course he can play as left or right winger when there is need. But the situation is like I explained now.

Maybe we won't even see Barcelona bringing someone to fill Dembele's void this summer. They might want to use the other players available in the squad who can play there as I said. But if they won't have issues with FFP I think they should bring someone.

Bayern Munich can do well without Mane as well just as they were before him. Mane couldn't even find exactly the chances he would like so far and he did the right thing by leaving. He shouldn't have left Liverpool in the first place as he was doing pretty well there. He just wanted a new adventure which didn't have a good result for him.

After adding Kane to the squad Bayern Munich will be even much more productive to score. I'm saying that considering Kane won't have big issues with adaptation. He has played at Tottenham for years maybe but he is a top level striker. He should be able to maintain his solid performance for bigger teams.

Andre and Lavia are the current candidates for defensive midfield position at Liverpool. Actually Liverpool have made multiple offers for Lavia already as far as I know. But there is no agreement yet. Liverpool are looking for only young players for this position as it seems. I hope the new player to fill Fabinho's place can play at least as good as him.

Interestingly there is still nobody on their radar when it comes to a striker. They have Nunez but there is nobody else in the subs to replace him strongly. Klopp tried Gakpo sometimes but it wouldn't be a good idea. After Firmino's departure they had better fill his place too.

Dembele signing hasn't still been completed by PSG but it is close to be finalized. As far as I know they have still managed to agree for his release clause worth 50 million euros. Barcelona are waiting on this transfer to be completed officially as soon as possible. Because they have other plans after that.

They are targeting to bring Cancelo to the team by using that money. It would be a really good transfer of course but won't they bring another good winger? I don't know if Xavi is planning to move on with the wingers he has currently.

Arsenal made a big progress in the previous season. Despite being a team full of young players they competed really hard for the Premier League title. Arteta has his system working really well now. He will need to transfer the same thing to the Champions League as well. I know this is a different environment so they will need to play extra careful.

Experience is playing a really big role in the Champions League. But this is still not an obstacle for them to reach a better stage by getting past the groups. It is all up to keeping their concentration level high. They have really talented players who can be a big help for having a successful run.

After signing Hojlund I'm curious about this transfer will be beneficial for the Red Devils for real. Rashford won't need to play as a centre-forward anymore as long as Hojlund adapts and plays decently. He couldn't perform impressively for Atalanta which makes me question his first season here. But it is still hard to predict what he can do in the Premier League.

If he has a good chemistry with the team and start scoring more comfortably it will be really lovely to watch him. I would be curious about especially Hojlund vs Haaland when they play against Manchester City. Haaland is in a way better condition now of course but it would be nice to see Hojlund bringing the competition to him.
