I haven't seen anything that proves this is a scam. So please if you don't have any proof, don't say anything.

Just read the stupid story in the OP and think logically  Roll Eyes

What kind of retarded dev would lose one of the wallets like that Huh Huh

(answer: A scammer dev)

+10000

OR>.. what kind of stupid dev would pretend to lose a wallet, make a big announcement about it so trolls can latch on like leeches and not let go? A reaeelly stupid dev. What kind of stupid troll would think that the dev would not just immediately dump the coins are just send them to puppet accounts and avoid the controversy? A reaallly stupid troll!

Yes.. that is true.. good thinking.  There is probably no conspiracy, merely stupidity.. that is the simple answer. This thread is great.. getting really long now. At least it provides some entertainment.

Got my second stake! Whoop  Grin

once the lost coins issue is sorted out we'll see this puppy fly!!! I was there from the beginning with FAC and trusted and waited through their lost coin also. Perhaps contact their dev and offer them some coin to help fix the problem?

how long does it take coins to mature for staking?

1 day, but you might need to leave wallet open for several hours, depending on your CPU.

Well, someone evidently didn't deserve second stake. Small dump happened at Bittrex. At this situation there is no point to try support rise price with high buy orders. They could be eaten up very fast.
I never even got my first stack. And anyway, I do not even know iaccepted or not.
If I did not go into COMMunity, I'll be sad, because so many opportunities pass by. As time goes by, but I'm still not adopted and do not know whether I passed at all. Besides, I am very surprised that people get 2M COMM, when others get nothing. I would, for example, didn't sell my 1M (if I had one). At the same time the one who got 2M, can unsparingly sell all their COMM. Where is the justice?

Acturally, the initial plan is to distribute 1bil COMM to 1000 BTT members.  However, not too much members paid their attention on COMM. The distribution process was slow:  about 230 within near 2 weeks. So the community decided to reduce the 1000 stakes into 500 in order to shorten the distribution phase. That's the story.

I propose that, after the initial phase is done, we change the faucet's rules a little and start a new distribution using it... Not anything like the 1000000 coins at the initial phase but something that allows a second chance for the "snails" while making COMM less concentrated.

But that's only an ideia for the near future.

Adriano

That is an excellent way forward. I have been presenting it as a '2nd Stage' distribution. It would be natural for founder holders to give away coins via various methods.

DAMN IT,DEV steal 196 mil coins,i sell it all,liar.

We should give the author more trust, and the lost coin address is public, the community should need to trust each and unity

Trust it, or walk. (Trust some shitcoin instead ?).

I would like to hear some more background on the lost coins.

When the distribution is finished, the top of the thread will need rewriting.

Acting fast under the influence of emotions augurs bad investing decisions.

Yep.... Another great cheap supply. Need more for those who missed out to buy.

it certainly disadvantages those new/late to the crypto scene. i for one would have loved some as part of the distribution alas i not have enough comments here even though i am active in my various coin communities in other mediums and ways. i'm not letting that stop me from participating in the comm community and have started to buy comm coins and am in it for the ride up or down Smiley

You may get your chance to buy cheap soon !  (PM me if you don't see why)

I remember to latecomers that this still looks like scam until the code is modded to lock the 200M communitycoins address

Yes....This information should filter through soon. I am waiting for the reaction.

IMO the dev team is honest, but there is going to be a FUDstorm. That is the time to pick up some really cheap COMM and wait a couple weeks for it to blow through.

I am waiting to buy COMM for my clients. There will be a lot of selling in the next few days. 25 sat would be a great price to buy at.

Let 'em dump, please... Otherwise, how will the big potential buyers get their stakes ?

There are a lot of good players who are going to want in on this project. We need to get more COMM onto the market for them (at whatever price)

To be honest, after I think again and again, I feel that this coin should distribute to 10000 members or even more.
who signup who get the coin.
Not distribute to those limited members, if this is really community coin, not "500 members coin".
And what now? I think it's just like NXT, but with more initial members who keep ALL coins.

and what will it happen? it will rich those 500 members, not others.

and look at the current price, it's 80 sato.. everybody are dumping, so it cause the price drop..
what a smart selection of 500 members.. lol

I agree, I started following this thread yesterday and what I can understand is next:

You firstly wanted 1000 people, the IPO and interest was slow and then in the process you guys decided to cut it to 500 and to distribute 2 times 1 million to the same 500 people.
This would work very well if the community stayed just on 500 people.

BUT, yesterday and today I see a huge interest in the coin, a huge interest and what you do next, you close the application form and decide to stay on 500 people.

I think that 2 people are better than 1. 1000 people is better than 500 people. Why give somebody 2nd million if you can give a newcomer the 1st million. I am one of those newcomers and I think that I can contribute a lot to this community. Just check my 20 last posts since yesterday, I voted on 5 different sides, started creating a swarm group with another member and started sharing the voice in the crypto world about the COMM. I am also ready to do much more and will do it, because I recognize a potential of this coin.

I did apply, but I am not sure if I will even get my first million. I am not criticizing anybody, but for the health of this coin I hope the DEVs will not make the same mistake as NXT DEVs have done, limit the distribution. Because you know what, number one reason why people are against the NXT is it's distribution and distribution is done only once. If you mess it up it is very hard after.

Keep up a good work guys!

There will no doubt be further distributions at later stages, but they will come from the Founders stakes now. Those stakes are mostly in the hands of experienced people who know how it should be done.

Complainers should read the rules. If they want to be part of this project abide by them. There are plenty of other coins if they don't like this one...

It just shows immaturity and laziness to whinge about unfairness. Life is like that.

Nothing is certain , but COMM has every chance of being successful. The Community is retaining those with experience and skill, and those without are dumping themselves automatically. Great selection system.

10k is too much work imho

need too much time, which is not that good, and cheaters are always there no matter what you do

also there will be always a few people controlling more, even with bitcoin was in this way, just buy them and make profit with trading

Yes...The initial 1000 is a reasonable number for the founder members. Remember this is only the very first stage. Many Founders (and I include myself) will make efforts to distribute coin much further (including giving away a lot to the right people) .I have done this with many currencies, and helped them succeed.

We can create further pools of currency, funded by founder members, to give away blocks to people who deserve them: that is, those who understand the future of COMM, and not those who want to grab a share to sell for quick profit.

Dumps are normal i don't know why people are so afraid of this. If somebody is dumping someone is tanking no problem with this. Market is moving and this is healthy the fact that now the price is a bit lower doesnt changes the thing that COMM has a strong community behind it and price will rise for sure, but for those here for easy money 1-2 free bitcoin is actually almost a wealth. Being on long term is more profitable right now than dumping, but getting rid of dumpers right now is a good thing, at least it won't happen later Smiley

That is the way it always works.  The CryptoCurrency world is watching to see how COMM handles its first few weeks. The Community is good, plenty of competent people. These are the very early stages, it is about distribution atm.

There are some good ideas around and more coming in future.

which is why I am buying now Cheesy

Anyone with experience in the CryptoCurrencies can see that it is the trading market rather than the IPO which gives the best opportunity for a stake.

Raising the stakeholders share to two 2m means that I can expect 1 more million?

Well there are 470 first round stakeholders and according to the post 330 made the cut for the second round (me excluded), but there are only enough coins to pay 300 people for second round at 1 million. Why this was not adjusted, I don't know. Ironically, there are now 20 million more coins on Poloniex and both Polo and Bittrex are being dumped into. I don't think the post gives any indication for how they chose to exclude an additional 30 people because of the shortfall. I am sure some answers will come our way soon.
stop trying to create fud nothing has been dumped:
on polo:     Sell Orders    Total: 6719368.91589201 COMM

What are you talking about?  Nobody's spreading fud.  12 million COMM traded just on poloniex in the last 24 hrs. And another 8 btc on bittrex.  28 btc ended up in someones pockets.  Is it listed on any other exchanges?

24-hour Volume: 20.24086126 BTC / 12296453.9268239 COMM
Sure there are lots of trade (and this is good) but there isn't 20M being dumped right now on polo...
To be honest, the introduction to polo went better than I expected (new comers usually tend to be pumped and dumped in a 2-3hours windows following introduction), hope it will work in the same way with mintpal.
I really envy those who can join the comm, I did not apply for a success in the past 1 months. You are lucky.

Now is you chance to buy some cheaply , lucky this happened !

Well initial dumps are inevitable I guess. Later it will settle.

Agreed. The are always dumps... they are even good as they give a chance for different people to buy.

some suggestions below and something I would like to help implement e.g logo, cards, flyers, icons, banners, website layout

I will update now and then with this logo/branding concept with variations e.g. logo, metal coin version, sizes etc

again it is only a concept and not what the community have selected please use the current logo for all promotional purposes

Updated metal version 15.04.14

i also like the metal one and even asked about it 2 times if we could switch but never recieved an answer on that. everybody remember to keep up the votes!!!!!!! we are doing great!!! Smiley

Original concept

animated version

Nice work! I really like metal version 15.04.14

That metal one is awesome! I'd love to see that on the wallet, rather than the current one.  Great work.

I like the design: simple, effective, and it chimes with the existing logo. I think we will use it everywhere.

looking very good fellas. A good coin to drop some $$ on!

After a series of crappy coins I think this is a coin I can really stand behind. The devs seem to be motivated and the community see that too!

Sucks I just found out about this coin. Oh well, at least I am here now.

I will support this coin!

Welcome aboard !  You are in at the very early stages. This is the beginning of a long journey.
