Quest is such an underrated team, for those that don't know them. They're formerly known as Ooredoo Thunders. Entity is also a strong team but they've been swept by Quest so easily. And ATF is with the Quest.

Team Liquid dropped a map against D1 Hustlers just now, and it's not surprising when they went for a Windranger carry, and I already saw how that went after watching one of OG's games.
The game ended 2-1 but it's still with Team Liquid.

Two days from now, two bottom teams OG and Team Secret will have their match.

- hunt for new coin that is about to be launch, buy at the pre-sale price,  once it goes live on what ever exchange, sell immediately, sometimes you made 200% profit, 500% or more most time,
It's not always as effective as it may seems. Yes, for some specific projects you get those profits but it's like once in a blue moon out of those too many projects being launched weekly in the market. This is a risky move if someone should do it, be prepared for any outcome and potential losses. It's because not all projects can be as successful as SUI and other projects that have launched in the market having that attention that they've projected and accurately came to them.

like SUI that was launch last week, I made more than 1500% profit.
That's good for you but it's not always a holiday like you've made 1500% so just do it with due diligence.
1963  Economy / Economics / Re: Helpful mineral resources on: May 17, 2023, 11:31:11 PM
Actually, you're right with that matter about Africa being rich in natural/mineral resources but it's been exploited by other countries into thinking that they should sell it to them and they'll get paid for it. It's sad this has been happening for a very long time and there's no teeth to the law of those countries that are being exploited with their mineral resources. There are many reasons why despite being rich in these natural resources and it's not being benefited by its own people is either due to politics, poor or mismanagement of government and lack of interest from the people who have the voice to speak of their own but even if they speak and voice their thoughts to the government, they'll not be heard and that is because money is power in those areas.

Serial Leone
By the way, it's Sierra Leone.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST TIMEZONE FOR SPORTsBETTING on: May 15, 2023, 07:11:32 PM
There is no difference upon using timezone when you bet for sports unless there's the schedule of the game that you want to bet. Then, of course that you've got to bet on it before the game starts or if you're into live betting then any time is a good time to bet. There's really no significance of which time we should bet in those sports that we're following. You bet when you're good and when you think that you've got enough and has a final say on which team you must bet with. If you are this type of detailed person then that's good but there's really no importance for including this in your way of betting.

I hope @OP will come back. Haven't you looked it at the spam folders or those folders in your email like Boxbe waiting list? But if you haven't received any confirmation or resetting of your account/email then everyone has already said it and it's best for you to contact them.
And if someone here or in social media approaches you that they'll help you with your account. Verify it if they're actually part of the team or it's best to just do the conversation over their website.

I just want to see on how Team Secret will react on against GG. Since most of the strong teams that we know of didn't even get a flinched against GG with a series. There have been some losses but those were just like 1 lose for them and then the rest were all victories. Quinn and Armel match up and I know that many are still not yet impressed with Crystallis' performances for the past tournaments but it's all a team play and fight and we'll see how the chemistry of Team Secret with their new mid player Armel goes. They did well on the division 2 way up to their division 1 slot. While Ace is now an offlane for GG, he's been with Team Secret before as their position 1.
Lots of roster changes on which certain players do really go from one team to another. I didnt really expect for Armel to be able to join up a tier 1 team considering that he's been on SEA teams for long.

This does prove out that this guy is really that something have on which top tier teams do make out recognition about his skill. About GG then winning up that recent Berlin Major.
Trying even to look back against Liquid, then it did really show up that there's no really change on beating up this team. Skill execution, response and objectives is really that
crucially been followed.
There are a lot of talents that are willing to explore other regions as long as there's a team that will adopt them. It's good for them to try another region with experienced players and teams as well. That's a win-win for most of those players that are going to a different region because playstyle there is different but they'll surely adopt it as soon as their chemistry clicks in.

For Secret, then lets see on how Puppey would really be making out some nasty plans and looking for some ways on getting in par with GG if ever they would be able to
succeed on rallying on.
I am sure that he's got plans already on them because they've watched GG's matches on the Berlin major.

But you know what's the most exciting match in my mind? After Gaimin Gladiators won the Lima and Berlin Majors, it seems that they're unbeatable. What match I'm talking about of making me excited? It's this match between them and Team Secret. This is going to be on May 19 in the Western Europe region of this DPC tour 3. So, mark your calendars and don't miss that match.
I see that series ending with a quick 2-0 for GG, but we'll see how they hold up. Right now, I don't have high hopes for Team Secret in beating the top teams, but I think they can squeeze their way through the top 4 similar to how OG did last Tour.

Most of the regions DPC tour for Dota 2 will start at May 15. A couple of regions will start it by May 14 and that's just a few days ahead of time.

These are regions that will start by May 14:
  • Eastern Europe
  • South America

1969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: To receive bitcoins, you must be connected to the Internet ???? on: May 09, 2023, 11:29:11 PM
That's why there's the receiving address that we need to give to whoever is going to send us Bitcoin. We don't need to be online or active by the time they send it. It's not compulsary unless you want to monitor it.

I guess the simpliest logic in here is that, when someone sends us a mail to our address, we don't need to be at that house upon receiving it. The mailman will just have to drop it to the mailbox. But OP since you're still new, please know the difference of giving the public key address and private key. You don't give your private key to anybody.
1970  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 05, 2023, 11:00:05 PM
Anyway, hard to know what really happens with BTC and most of the alts.
Maybe this is just part of the cycle that we usually see when we're heading to the halving. It's hard to know if some news do really affect it or it's basically the cycle that moves on its own and while it shows some bearish patterns, it won't be long until bitcoin recovers rapidly after that awaited low comes.

memecoins are doing well tho.  PEPE is almost at 1 billion USD market cap.  And in just a couple of weeks too.  Crazy...
That's what these meme coins are for and I guess after this crazy hype that PEPE is building, all of the profits of everyone who's wise enough will put it eventually to Bitcoin as they know that it's the best place to put it before the halving comes.
1971  Economy / Economics / Re: Wind Power Has A Profitability Problem on: May 04, 2023, 10:58:37 PM
As for reading this editorial: Wind industry faces a perfect storm of profit pressures
It states that the global issue that we're experiencing is one of the major catalysts for why the Wind Energy sector experiencing negativity in profits. Cost of material has increased and that's all because of the war, covid19 and inflation.
I think this is all a domino effect but then US' government and those agencies that are concerning this sector should give some help to these companies that they shouldn't just back out this business and give them some appropriate help of like subsidizing anything on their terms as it will kill a lot of jobs and will cause another domino impact.
1972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I won £50 - should I use it to buy Bitcoin? on: May 04, 2023, 09:26:19 PM
Never let it be said that I don't accept the advice of Bitcoin Talk members. I've decided to invest £2.50 on a double scrambled egg on toast in the Sainsbury's cafe.
That's yummy. Jet, you can do whatever you want with that 50 as you've said that you're not having any problems and you're retired already.
If that was me, I'll enjoy a meal with my family and eat outside but that was just me as that's what I did just this afternoon.

Anyway back to the topic of this post. I am now certain that I will use the £50 to purchase a few Satoshis ( should the plural be Satoshii ). And I will use that to test my new Bitcoin node when I have downloaded the whole blockchain. It will be interesting to see how efficient an internal NVME M.2 will be. With the way things are going it will probably need to be a 2Tb version, and I hope this machine has a second slot for such a drive.
NVME M.2 is quick and if you haven't used such before, you'll be surprised how quick and efficient it is.
1973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Raccoin Crypto Mixer (USDT TRC-20 ONLY) [raccoin.co] on: May 02, 2023, 10:11:42 PM
Not quite sure what you are talking about at the end
I think you need to visit some other mixers and read what does letter of guarantee means. Maybe you're aware of that but you're just confused as it could be other terms in what you've known.
The guarantee letter is not the only method used by the various mixers, as some are content with using the "session code" or the "chips" method as Chipmixer used to do. I agree with you that those in charge of the mixer are required to know all these methods and the benefits of using them. The task is not easy at all since this is almost the only mixer who decided to work on altcoins after the failed attempt of TornadoCash.
This mixer is still in its starting stage, and it is good that they made this open channel discussion for the community to support the project and provide the required transparency. It is also an opportunity for those in charge of the project to deal with various details and maintain the development for the mixer.
True, they'll get to know more and understand what the market really needs and what they have to offer. It's actually good that there are these various types of method that we can see from different mixers that we can see in the community. With such having some open discussions and sharing of knowledge, it's a win-win for those who are genuinely operating their mixers but then with the authorities being strict on this matter. The operators should also take them on note because we don't want them to be out of service if they're helping us to remain anonymous with our transactions and stuff.
1974  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of such ads on Instagram & Facebook! on: May 01, 2023, 07:48:14 PM
It's a total red flag because no one can do that but scammers that will try to fool those desperate folks that think it's very possible.

This is the part that irritates me about Mark Zuckerberg and how he runs his blue app company. There's so much infringements on the privacy of those who patronize Facebook. Yet, Zuckerberg doesn't give a hoot. It's not even as if he gives back to his subscribers like what YouTube and others do for their subscribers.

I once watched a gruelling session Zuckerberg had with the American congress and the brilliant senator who questioned him twisted the questions to trap Zuckerberg on the subject of privacy concerning his whereabouts and places he had visited but the Facebook CEO dodged them and that sounded funny. He didn't want anyone knowing places he had visited or where he lodged but wouldn't hesitate to expose where others visit or have been to.
It's the same with Google that gives no care to the welfare of their users when these scams keeps on appearing on their platforms. We can only report them but it's up to them if they'll take actions or not. We've seen a lot of it in the past and they only have banned it and eventually reopened it to the public just for these scams to reappear again and they do nothing against them.

Which crypto wallet is better to take for a beginner?
When I was a newbie, I was too confident with web wallets because they're easy to navigate and thought that they're one of the best. But thank you to the other members that were more knowledgeable and suggested what one should consider upon choosing a wallet. So, it should be Electrum as one of the best candidate as the wallet for Bitcoin-only holding for beginners. Well, in general of a crypto wallet then there goes the other desktop and multicurrency wallets but apart from that, the next that should count are the hardware wallets.

Now there are many varieties, there are screens, there are ordinary ones, there are also cheap and expensive ones, how to choose and what to rely on?
I don't understand why there has to be the cheap and expensive ones, maybe you're reiterating the hardware wallets on this one. They're not cheap nor expensive compared to the security that it will provide to your assets.
1977  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the pet industry recession-proof? on: April 26, 2023, 10:46:22 PM
It is true that gen z likes more with pets and you know what I've observed with most gen z's today? They'll tell that they don't need someone to get with as long as they've got their pets with them. Others don't even want to have their own baby because their baby is their pet.
That's a true thing these days and some people are thinking of shifting into that thinking and that's why this type of business is booming. But while in the height of covid pandemic, every business has been down and that has included this industry.

The veterinary doctors have to raise their fees because the cost of items have skyrocketed. It's terrible but then it is what it is.
IMHO, all types of expertise from these doctors have raised their professional fees. As in everything now has increased, they're all saying that it's because of the inflation but that does that really make sense at all? Some have doubled the fee and others nearly tripled. Well, talking about how lucrative it is then it is.
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: April 25, 2023, 11:14:23 PM
Is this even possible?

Am guessing when it comes to sporting events AI will make informed selections based on historical data which any pundit out there will probably use when trying to make on the same pick, so technically all what AI is doing is using existing numbers that are available to all..
Btw I don't think these can ever predict an outcome of an upset because the numbers will never agree so this AI thing and gambling does work maybe with casino games might have some luck there.
That's what actually AI will respond with these set of questions that are being thrown to it. If the answer to a question is about like predicting the future outcome of a match or an answer that needs some opinion, it will answer that it cannot answer wholly and will only base on the data that's given it can find over the internet. With even gpt4, I guess that it's still having time in learning how to give some predictions related to gambling and sportsbetting.
1979  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Help] Newbie here. Is this website safe to use? on: April 24, 2023, 11:03:07 PM
Hello, everyone,

I am new to Bitcoin, and I recently received a Bitcoin transaction on get. The transaction seems legitimate, because the customer of mine showed me a transaction receipt from an ATM and my wallet address written on it, but they require me to log in their website, create and account and verify my ID & SSN in order to claim the bitcoin to my wallet, which makes no sense to me smh. I am not sure if the website is trustworthy and i found nearly NADA info regarding it over the web. I am hesitant to accept the transaction until I know for sure that the platform is legit.

Has anyone used getcoinsmarket.com before? Is it a reliable platform for Bitcoin transactions? How can I verify the authenticity of the transaction and ensure that it is not a scam?

I would appreciate any guidance or advice on this matter. I am new to the world of Bitcoin, and I want to ensure that I am using a safe and secure platform.

Thank you in advance for your help!
It is giving me the feels that it's a scam. Why would someone will require you to visit a website when you've just made a transaction? What's done is done and there's no need for anyone to reach out to you or asking you to login some info. From that part, as you've said that it doesn't really make sense at all. I don't know the website but if that customer of yours has shown you some receipt then you better verify the transaction from looking at the network by entering that address of yours and see if there's really a transaction that has been made. It may be simple as it is but you've said that you're still new and everyone is going to be patient to you. Actually, how did your customer know that it's your bitcoin wallet address? Is it posted in your store somewhere or there's the qr code? Do you mind posting your bitcoin wallet address for us to check the transaction?
1980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 22, 2023, 01:07:03 AM
It's been awhile I try daily to make profit

Stake casino mostly mines

But it take back profit.. I have 2k balance.. is there method

To get 100 $ per day
Why not get back to the old way of yours when you're making a profit daily? Getting $100 per day with that $2k balance might even not enough. There will be those risk takers that will tell you to do martingale with that money but that's going to be a painful experience for you and no one wants that to happen. There can be other ways for you to guarantee $100 a day but it's up to your knowledge and $2k capital might or might not be enough. It can be from different sources of what you do and activities but capitalizing that entirely with gambling, everyone will just tell you that it's unlikely because the difficulty level is quite high. And for your safety, with this such post is like a honeypot to the eyes of the scammers. They'll lie and might approach you saying that this is going to be easy to them with some arbitrary strategies and things that they do but then, they'll ask you money and deposit it to them.
