Public orders on an exchange are not trades...they are there for show... the trades only come when someone deals. Most bigger trades happen without traders showing their hand like that.

people trying to hold price down are killing ecc, the sell pressure is already way greater than the buy pressure, dont get me wrong, but karma had a same dedicated developer and way bigger community, and the only fact that killed them is being a 50 billion coin so the selling pressure grew way bigger each day, ecc seems to be following the same charts as karma did, rise, stay between 6-7 even reached 10 then just to die (they are more active than ever and they cant leave the ltc market now with huge ammount of coins  ECC is alive and growing. Ignore the sells, they are meaningless. I would expect to see sell 'walls' of 50 BTC or more before the mining period is over. |

Yes, I think ECC needs to be selective with exchanges now. Coinader is not suitable to be considered.
In a couple weeks, Exchanges will come to our door, and we may have to vet them before we allow them to list.

i have 300 darkcoin and i hope i will be rich.  What price the darkcoin will hit? 20$ ? 200$ ? 2 dollars hopefully Any thoughts on why DRK still struggles so painstainkingly to make an ascent? I mean, it's rising, but it always seems to be two steps forward, one step back. Is that overhead supply of coins still out there? Shouldn't it have been run down by now? Bit painful to watch compared to coins like HIRO and BC, which dont seem to have nearly as much to offer as DRK, DRK's developer and the robust community here. What gives? It's because most people just want a quick profit... if they think they can do that with other coins, they will dump good stable coins to speculate. There are so many wild coins out there that this will be a continual situation. Traders (taken as a whole) always lose. |

Actually i just bought 3million ECC @ 6 satoshi. Every day it varies between 5 and 8 satoshi. So i'm quite sure i can sell them @7 or 8 satoshi, but i keep them in my wallet and sell them @10 satoshi or someting like that. This coin will get a pump like MINT, mark my words. There will be dumps as well. Believers will use those as opportunites. I guess , if you will be dumping at 10sat, you would be a pump an' dumper, and you will accept your fate at the hands of the market. Time will tell ! |

Pardon me if this has been discussed back through the thread, and please don't take this as a rude question, but can someone highlight the key differences between this and Mintcoin? When I looked through the specs, they seem very similar.

Indirect mining tech in combination with the ASICs will be clearing out the crap-coins of the past, made by real scammers. There is no reason that ECCoin can't have indirect mining pools in the long run either. This coin has a very good shot ... as long as the team is in it for the long haul. They are clearly not lazy and know how hard it is to win, so that is a good sign, scammers are usually exceptionally lazy and overly greedy. So that is enough for me to mine and buy a little bit, and see how it plays out.

The distribution model I agree is a bit better than mintcoin (dumping billions in 6 weeks) but that is all I see as different. I wish you all the best for this coin, but it's just not for me. Cheers The code and early stages are similar to Mintcoin (there are small differences, like the PoS % and the mining taper: small differences can magnify like the butterfly effect). Mintcoin has a a sound foundation. The significant advantage is the activity and comittment of the dev. and community. Just one example : 13 exchanges in 19 days from launch.. that is a record by miles.. You have to consider how that could possibly happen, then guess what is coming in the next 25 days, let alone the next few months. |

Why does it take so long to even get to the voting list of Cryptsy? Or are they preparing the ECC wallet for trading?  I don't know but seems they are unable to keep their words or some mis understandings. Maybe we should not use them. Over two weeks no listing happened. Look the email what they said before:   I wrote email personally CEO of Cryptsy. It seems to me he did not receive my email or ignoring. They're losing money here. After this moment i no accept going into vote list. We should not lose time there. Ignore Cryptsy.. their processes are frustrating for users as well. They will have to make their decision based on popularity. |

How do you pronounce it?
EasyCoin or ECKCoin or EeeCeeCoin
Both is fine, USA people like ECKCoin, UK EeeCeeCoin some EasyCoin, some Ecommerce crypto coin. I like EeeCeeCoin personally. I prefer you use this. And latest video coming soon is using this version. EeCee Coin is preferred. People are beginning to call it EasyCoin, which really sounds much the same, and there is no other coin with that name. So we have ECommerce, Ecology, and Easy, (all of which apply perfectly). General usage is what will determine pronunciation. In a couple years, when the Euro breaks up, we will be positioned for the European Community.  (Spain,Aurora,Aphrodite,Maza take note) |

wow great  Sell walls are good, they give a chance for buyers to acquire a decent stake. I would say that a pump at this stage is not good. That just attracts short term speculation. |

Wish there was a better way to publicize this or get more details about what it will do. Personally I'm not selling any and I've been pushing for a 20sat sell minimum as well...but others don't seem to get it. There's four weeks left of mining this coin, price will move up & down throughout this period. There's no reason to worry for us that are holding. Meanwhile if you're a day trader enjoy riding the waves with ECC and other coins +1 There is no taper in the block reward, and that will give large current supply constantly. If the price remains near the current level it will demonstrate there is considerable buying strength. I would expect a range of 3 sat to 7 sat for the next 20 days |

That is how good coins like this work,people want in cheap so put big sell walls up to get you to sell your coins cheap,then boom 20 sats lol,hold your coins because this rocket has not started yet.
why is still going down? how many coin is mined a day ? why everyone selling  sell walls are huge now These are quite small sells. One big buyer can clear them quickly. |
