Are you thinking about teams have ideas for opening with Europe Super League always become target for suspending?

I believe that you raised a vital question here. With the competition that is now coming from the Saudi Professional League and also the investment fund involved, one risk of being too strict with clubs from European leagues could be that they in return threaten to support the foundation of a new Super League, for instance if it is originating from the Saudi Professional League or the investors backing everything that is flowing into the sport these days.

First of all I think the Europe Super League format is never going to happen. Even after it was announced by some top teams UEFA seemed really frustrated about it. They already planned to impose sanction on the teams that are a part of that project. Right after hearing about that we have seen all the teams withdrawing from the project.

UEFA would surely continue to threaten the teams coming with similar ideas. As long as not enough number of teams agree upon not giving up their decision about creating a new format UEFA can easily do what they want as usual.

It is really unfortunate for Arda Guler to have no choice other than returning to Madrid early. Because due to his injury he will miss pre-season games and will have to work much harder to reach the level of the others later. He is a really talented player of course so I believe in him to work hard for that.

Because he didn't want to leave Real Madrid for a different team on loan. He wanted to stay and fight for his place in the team. This must be a positive sign about him to be a hardworking player. Kroos also said that he believes Arda has a really nice talent.

Luton Town are one of the new teams in the Premier League this season. They have surely made a lot of money after promoting to this league as well. However they haven't made so many or any dramatic transfers so far. They had better increase their attempts for better players if they want to challenge for not relegating again.
Sure, being promoted to the UCL will make this club get additional income. I meant all the club's supporters who are eager to see their favorite team compete in the highest competition in England will fill the stadium..
Luton has not made yet a lot of money from being promoted to the EPL. The money raised last season used for stadium renovation. Luton doesn't have a lot of money. You can hope this one will get investors to put money on this club.

Because the Premier League is way tougher than the Championship. It is extra difficult for them to try to hold onto the league with a low quality squad. I would like to see an activity from them similar to Nottingham when they also promoted to this league.
Agreed, that makes me think that if luton will be relegated again next season. The quality owned by luton is still far from being able to compete in the EPL. Luton was lucky enough caused by it was winning in the play off. At least this can become a very good experience for luton town.
It's a small club. It doesn't have a stadium with huge capacity. Luton doesn't have a lot of money to strengthen its squad too. I hope this club will be lucky enough to compete in EPL. Even leicester city already are relegated due to the how competitive EPL is right now.

Normally Luton weren't a rich team yeah. However now they must have made a lot of money just because of their promotion to the Premier League. It is the same for all the teams promoting to this league every season you know. I assume the board gave them a decent transfer budget after earning a huge amount of money like this.

Of course they can't bring big names but they can still strengthen their squad with average level players as well. They need to do this if they want to stay in the Premier League one more season as I said. I wonder what the board expectation is for this season.

I'm still behind my words about Mane. I think that he did the best for himself. Because he couldn't even play in his main position as much as he wanted last season. He didn't even play in nearly all games in that season. Why would he want to stay? If Tuchel was planning to use him in the starting eleven continually and stated that then maybe he would have stayed.

But Tuchel also didn't care about his leaving or staying. I still don't understand why Bayern Munich gave up on a player like Mane easily. They were going to bring Kane most probably as well so it would have been nice to see an attacking line with Mane and Kane.

Inter are the number one contender for the league title this time according to bookies. They have made a really good progress recently and I'm also expecting them to be more competitive this time. In the previous season they were having defensive issues at the beginning and it lasted quite long. This prevented them from entering the race.

However they stand much more solid now. We have all seen how they played against Manchester City in the Champions League finale too. If they keep up this level they can surely be one of the biggest contenders for winning the title here. I wonder how strong the other teams can answer them (especially Napoli).

If I'm not mistaken in the social media news, the reason Brighton rejected Chelsea's offer and asked them to increase their bid to 100 million euros was that Brighton wanted Caciedo to be on par with Declan Rice. I think the club's thinking is too exaggerated and even though Brighton wants to follow in West Ham's footsteps in the trend of selling players up to 100 million euros, on the other hand this is increasingly showing the unfairness of the transfer market process this time and with the lack of achievements of players at the club it proves the price tag exaggerating. I thought the 80 million offer from Chelsea was very good, but back in the final decision on the club and Brighton felt as greedy as West Ham.

It must be pounds not euros I think. Because 80 million pounds are already equal to 93 million euros. I don't think Brighton would have rejected this quick if they wanted only a little improvement in the amount. 100 million pounds would really be nearly equal with Declan Rice. It is like West Ham started this and Brighton continue.

Chelsea are a very rich team so they can still pay that much if they would like. But I wonder if they really want him that much to increase their offer by 20 million pounds for him. However if there is no alternative to Caicedo who they have found then they can still pay what Brighton want.

I would also hope to see Lewandowski recovering to his usual performance by the beginning of this season. Because I don't believe his performance was just at the level to meet the expectations exactly. He struggled to score goals in critical games in the Champions League especially. This is a problem for Barcelona obviously.

Because the expectations will get bigger in the Champions League this season. They will need to be expected to get past the group stage successfully this time. Not only Lewandowski of course. They need to improve the team effort as a whole.

Breaking News!

UEFA has banned Juventus from European competitions for one year due to Financial Fair Play issues and that means Juventus will not be able to participate in next season's conference league competitions. However, UEFA has also confirmed that the Juventus replacement team will be Fiorentina. So now Juventus' situation is almost the same as the previous season and they are faced with the harsh reality of losing their place in European competition. But I think this is also the main focus for Juventus to improve their performance in Serie A and be able to compete again to win the Scudetto. But the thing that is feared is of course not wanting to happen again like last season which had to result in them dropping in the Serie A standings as a result of deducting points due to an internal club case.

Actually this decision was made about Juventus already. I'm pretty sure that I have seen it some time ago. Maybe the Europa Conference League isn't as prestigious as the Champions League. But it was still a chance for them to win even that title maybe. Punishments really didn't let them take a breath.

Now they are going to start off with a clean slate but it will again be with Allegri. I hope we don't see another disappointment for them. If Allegri's performance is found inadequate again then I don't think he would be staying for next season.

Rasmus Hojlund is still on the agenda for Manchester United. He is still their priority about a striker transfer. However there is still a problem about the agreement between two teams. Atalanta want a package of 70 million euros while Manchester United have offered a 60 million one. It feels like they can meet at 65 million finally to finish the deal.

PSG are also observing Hojlund's situation closely so Manchester United want to finish this deal as quick as possible. Actually Hojlund hasn't given us much about his performance so far. He hasn't been that much productive when it comes to the number of goals he scored. But the Red Devils must be still believing in his potential very much.

Manchester United have wasted a lot of time on Rasmus Hojlund negotiations I'm afraid that Munich will come with a better offer and Manchester United will regret it
If indeed Manchester are targeting this player why don't they increase their offer? or maybe they know Atalanta's situation of needing money so they manage the time

Manchester United started with 50 million euros if I'm not wrong. They improved their offer to this level after that. But I really don't feel like he is the right player for this team. If they want to invest into the future then they should look for Vlahovic instead. He has proven his skills already. He is a really great scorer when he has a team fitting his game.

I think he would fit Manchester United really good as well. But interestingly there is no interest from their side. I'm curious about whether they don't feel like they can steal him from Real Madrid or PSG. But technically PSG are interested in Hojlund too.

Bayern Munich probably will lost Yann Sommer this because after Yann Sommer realized that he would not get the main place for the goalkeeper position on Bayern then he was thinking moved to other team and just like we all know that Yann Sommer was linked to Inter Milan and the negotiation between him and Inter Milan has been reach good progress so Yann Sommer most likely will leave this team and i think this situation is not good for Bayern because so far they only have Sven Ulreich as 3rd goalkeeper

Neuer still focusing to recover his injured and confirmed he won't be available until Bundesliga matches begin so Bayern have to find other goalkeeper just in case if Yann Sommer leave and recently David De Gea name was appears as the candidate of the replacement of Yann Sommer and it say in the near future Bayern will persuade him to join as free transfer status and recently De Gea has been refuse Inter because he want high salary and i think if Bayern offering him higher salary than Inter offered most likely De Gea will accept this offers

Sommer might not leave because Neuer is still not ready for the new season as you also said. He can still play as the main goalkeeper here. Let's say he decided to leave anyway then Bayern Munich had better make a good signing. Because even if Neuer gets fit for the games this season I don't think he has long years left at this team.

Bayern Munich should secure their future for this position and de Gea would really be a great option for them. I still don't understand why the Red Devils parted their ways with him anyway. He can still be considered not old for a goalkeeper as well.

After Lewandowski arrived Barcelona didn't want to keep Aubameyang anymore. Actually if Aubameyang would be okay with it he could have still stayed as an alternative for Lewandowski. He would have found more chances than he found at Chelsea without doubt.  Grin  Aubameyang must be really unhappy with his Chelsea journey.

Now he has joined Marseille. I hope he can perform impressively there. He will probably be the main striker as well so he can just enjoy his game. Maybe he can also start performing really good just as Lacazette has done since he came back to the Ligue 1.

Chelsea are really determined to sign Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo. Their last offer was 80 million pounds however it was instantly rejected by Brighton. His market value is 64 million pounds actually so I wonder how much they want for him now. It looks like Chelsea will need to offer way more if they really want only him to the position.

He is a really solid defensive midfielder of course with a good potential. Brighton signed him for only 5 million euros. If they sell him this summer the profit they will make is going to be huge. Chelsea have Enzo Fernandez and Andrey Santos in the defensive midfield already. But maybe they are thinking of loaning Andrey Santos again so they want another signing to the area.

Emiliano Martinez has started to be rumoured with Inter these days. You know they have just lost Onana to Manchester United. They need to fill his place with a decent goalkeeper. Martinez can be a really good candidate for that. I think he is a pretty decent goalkeeper and his World Cup performance was also impressive.

However he has a contract until 2027 now. Aston Villa wouldn't like to lose him just like that. Inter had better hope that the player becomes very eager to join them. Technically Martinez should be like that because he will be the main goalkeeper of a much bigger team in the end.

With all the respect for Martinez , I think he should remain in Premier League and focus on his current team Aston Villa because in Serie A , goalkeepers have a short life if they don't perform at a very high level especially at Inter , who is a defensive team.

I know they have to fill Oanan's place but I'm sure they will find another goalkeeper to take , maybe a younger one as Inter likes to do that with goalkeepers so after they can sell them for a lot of money. Martinez is already 30 years old ...and I doubt Inter will transfer him.  Grin

Since Emery started to manage Aston Villa they have been on the rise in the Premier League. They even qualified for the Europa Conference League. Maybe he might have some effect on Martinez's decision about this as well. If Martinez believes in Emery and the future of this team with him then he might not even want to leave unlike my thinking.

Inter can surely find another alternative. But they had better start being more active in the market. Because Onana and Handanovic both left at the same time and there are only three weeks to go for this season to start with the first games.

We are going to watch quite many events under rain most probably thanks to the sprint race added as well. I wonder whether Verstappen can preserve the same level of domination this year too. He had everything under control for the whole race weekend in the previous season. This time hopefully we see something different.

I don't have much hope about a different driver to win the race though. But the qualifying can be quite interesting if it rains quite much during the session. I would expect a solid effort to get to pole position from Norris and Hamilton especially.

It was a really great show by Arsenal against Barcelona indeed. Even though it was a friendly game they seemed really determined to beat their opponent. I feel like we are going to watch a really strong Arsenal this season. I just hope to see them being consistent throughout the season. They were so close to becoming the champions the last time but inconsistency on the final weeks finished them off.

There are quite many talented players in the squad now. There is a lack of experienced player though so I hope it doesn't become a serious problem for them. I'm curious about how good they can balance the Premier League and Champions League as well. The expectations should be higher for sure.

Speaking of Choupo-Moting, he will still be part of Bayern Munich as Tuchel has said.
As for Sadio Mane, he has given the green light to Al Nassr and it looks like negotiations will take place this week.
talking about Kane, like I said. if so, this player will most likely be the answer for Bayern Munich to fill the vacant position left by Lewandowski. we wait, how it goes. because of this transfer drama, it is quite tough.

Choupo-Moting should definitely stay of course. He can still be a really decent replacement for the main striker they will transfer soon. He isn't just the player for big games maybe but he can still be useful in some Bundesliga games and cup games as well. Tuchel isn't very keen on keeping Mane so it would be the best for Mane to leave while there is an opportunity.

I wonder if he would think of returning to Europe later but I don't feel like that. Mane can just make a lot of money for quite many years in Saudi Arabia and then retire. If he continued to play for Liverpool he would have still been one of the appreciated players. But now things are just not going as he imagined at Bayern Munich.

I think the exchange between Manchester City and Barcelona where there were rumors about exchanging de Jong for Bernardo Siva won't happen because does Barcelona really need Silva? He is good of course, but currently Barcelona has several offensive players with decent quality. But what I miss is this one star player that is above all else.

Technically Barcelona don't include an attacking midfielder in their usual formation. There is no such player in their squad as well. Bernardo Silva is mainly an attacking midfielder so Barcelona really don't need him specifically now. Of course he can play as a right winger as well. But there are so many alternatives on both wings at the same time.

While they have Raphinha and Dembele in the first place they don't need another big right winger transfer. This will just have to keep one of those players outside of the starting lineup if they bring Bernardo Silva to the team. I don't think Xavi wants that now.
