2261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 25, 2021, 01:18:53 PM
Exactly, but Canelo sees the possibility that he might lose based on the last two fights these two met in the ring. Let's just respect the decision of Canelo but also remain optimistic that one day his mind will change and will give the fans an opportunity to see them fight again, I mean that should be another epic fight and everyone will be watching it, for sure.
I'm not sure how popular of an opinion this is, but I wasn't overly impressed with Cancelo last going out against Plant, I thought up until the TKO he looked rather lackluster. He was winning the majoirty of the rounds, but certainly wasn't at his best. So, I would say it would be a legitimate concern he would lose the third fight.
He bet Plant and that's the most important, if Plant were also thinking of winning, he could be more aggressive, but no, instead he was just fighting to survive. What I want to see is the fight that Canelo had some trouble, and that is the fight against GGG, a trilogy fight.
2262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My plans for the next bear market on: November 25, 2021, 12:50:46 PM
I think I will sell everything I have (btc and alts) in the end of december, to USDT.

1) transfer it (usdt) on Tron on my ledger
2) Wait months
3) Wait again
4) buy back when bloodbath looks over
5) triple my holdings

Main question about my plan is it safe or not keeping usdt for months?
Your plan seems good and TBH, I'm thinking of that strategy too when the bear market comes.
The question is will 2022 be the start of the bear market and you are selling all of your coins and hold USDT? Because if the opposite happens and it continues to go upwards then you will incur losses in your portfolio.

There is nothing wrong keeping USDT for months. There is this risk of getting potential gains when you held BTC and ALTS rather than holding USDT and worse if it didn't go the way you like then you will get losses. Its better if you will just convert a percentage of it into Fiat, wait and then buy when you feel that it is low than converting it to USDT. Keep a percentage of your holdings too to hold BTC and ALTS just incase they will go higher then you'd still gain profits.

Diversifying your investment is very important, which will minimize the risk.

Be smart and be realistic all the time as a bullish market does not exist forever, just like our experience in the past, we have a bear market and bull market, so it's just a matter of timing and we have to do the right timing if we want to be successful in trading and investing. Of course, no one can predict the right outcome all the time, but with proper research and learning from our experience, it's not impossible to be consistent in trading.
2263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 24, 2021, 09:51:22 PM

Well, right now the 76ers are in a bad situation right now, Danny Green, Tobias Harris, and Seth Curry are in question if they can play against the Golden State Warriors, their Injuries are just minor Seth Curry has Lower Back Stiffness, Danny Green has Left Hamstring Tightness, Tobias Harris has Left Hip Soreness so hopefully, there can still play against the Golden State Warriors.

Better wait for the official announcement or the game time to see if these questionable players will suit up or not. If not, then it would be an easy win for the Warriors again, and most probably that -10.5 spread that has not moved until now will be covered. Of these 3 players questionable to play, Tobias Harris IMO is the most important as Sixers lack a big who could score inside.
2264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 24, 2021, 09:35:01 PM

Yes, it's a majority decision but there was one judge who score the fight a draw 114-114. So it was really very close contest between the two, and we all know that the first fight was a draw. So by far, he maybe the winner of the fight between the two, but majority of the boxing fans still not convince that Canelo won  because of how the way it was scored so we want a trilogy which Canelo doesn't want to give GGG. So there's still a lot of questions on our mind.

Canelo decide not to give that trilogy to GGG but instead he went up to another division chasing his fate to get another belt from different weight instead of favoring what fans are asking for him, personally, if the trilogy will take place the amount of possible profits is far better than how much he will earned from his upcoming fight.

There are many fans who continue to believe that GGG can beat him and regain the title.  Roll Eyes Cool

2265  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: November 24, 2021, 09:49:56 AM
After becoming undisputed champion at super middleweight Canelo is now prepared for his next challenge. He will be moving up two weight classes to face WBC cruiserweight champion Ilunga Makabu. This opponent is not very well known but he has a high knockout percentage with 25 KOs in 28 victories and he has not had a loss in over 5 years. It will be an impressive feat if Canelo can become champion at cruiserweight after starting his career fighting in the jr. welterweight division.
Makabu is not well known in boxing world but his record shows that he is not an easy opponent. But does he have a previous opponent that he won through KO which is familiar to anyone? If not, then this fight is his big break to become popular.

On the other side, no doubt Canelo would be the favorite here especially after his recent fight to Plant. Once again he proved himself as a legend.
Nope, Makabu's previous opponents doesn't ring a bell to my ears either. I'm also surprised that I don't know this Makabu in particular given that his records and KO rate are impressive. His last match was on December 2020 against Durodola whos records are 34-8.
Such a very short notice for Canelo to prepare against this powerful and undefeated opponent but I know Canelo will be able to stand this fight knowing his skills and brilliant mind.

I guess everyone would agree that Makabu name doesn't ring a bell to the majority of us. I mean the weight class the most everyone followed is the 147 lbs and above that, we don't know that much except maybe GGG in 160 and Canelo in 168 and then the HW champions.

I think Canelo though has enough time to prepare for this fight and he doesn't need to weight drain himself to make the CW limit. And he can only go 180 lbs and still consider a CW. He can make 168 lbs easy because that's what his body is used to, but he can still go and build considerable muscle to reach the CW.

Of course, that's why Canelo is a heavy favorite because his opponent is not a popular fighter, however, if you look at his boxing record, you gotta respect the guy because he really has the power, and since this is a new division, we should not be too confident that Canelo would still dominate.
2266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 24, 2021, 09:30:39 AM
Certainly youth and physical preparation will be Logan's strengths. Mike in the training videos looks really impressive for his age, it's really hard to believe that he looks so good. However, a video of a minute of training will not show what will become the body in a few rounds. If Logan will put to constant pressure, he could make Mike tire and the ending could be his.
Yes, I believe, age is an important factor during a fight, but it's not decisive.
Tyson is still experienced and he can perform several combos (punches) quickly.

I believe that another advantage of Paul is his height (6-2 / 188cm), while Tyson has "only" 5-10 / 178cm.
Probably Paul's wingspan is bigger than Tyson's, and with that he could hit Tyson even from a long distance.

But Tyson is used to fight bigger guys before, so for sure he still has that experience under his belt eventhough he is already old. So for me, I doubt that Logan Paul knows how to take advantage of his reach against even a ageing Mike Tyson.

And with that, it will still be Tyson who has all the tools, power, experience. But this could be another setup exhibition though.

Paul's advantage is only his age, aside from that, I don't see anything that he can use to beat Tyson. The majority has spoken, and we can see in the betting odds of this fight that Tyson is the favorite, so most likely he will win as he has a high chance of winning.
2267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 23, 2021, 12:44:45 PM
Was a knockout artist 19 years ago. We do not know if he could box on a same level with professionals and still knockout them. In the past he could knockout everyone, right now he definitely could easily knockout a regular person.

He is not the same 19 years ago but his opponent now is not a professional boxer, or a boxer with a lot of boxing experience, so the advantage is still on him and I'll gladly put my bet on Mike Tyson to win here. I don't trust whatever strategy Logan Paul will use as he has not won a single fight in boxing.
2268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 23, 2021, 12:09:10 PM
Let's wait for the betting odds to be available as betting on the ML for Loma does not make sense unless you have huge capital.

If you are looking for attractive odds, betting on KO in a specific range of rounds would be the answer, mostly, the round ranges are per 3 rounds, you just have to make a good guess and put your money, or bet on Loma winning by decision, maybe that is higher than the 1.15 odds.

I don't chase high odds as it increases the risk of losing. I try not to take risks, so it is more important for me to increase my deposit a little than to take a risk and lose a part of my deposit in case of losing.

Calculate how much the probability of winning decreases when betting on one of the ranges of rounds and if you are satisfied with such risks, then place this bet.

Well if that's your technique, I have nothing against it, every bettor just has a different technique in calculating the risk. A bettor like me loves to take a high risk with a low bet, that way I don't feel so much affected when I lose and I will have a lot of fun if I win. In the end, we all make a guess because no one can predict the right outcome all the time.
2269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: November 22, 2021, 11:09:18 PM
you can not avoid all scam, trust me... i am here from years ago and still got scam even if its only small amount compare to my first year in this industry. the only thing you can do is deep due diligent and make your chance getting scam smaller but not 0 chance. scammer were smart people or maybe the condition which makes us got scam ( want to get rich fast because of FOMO ).
No, we can still avoid them but not in a way to stop them coz they will find another way. For as long as they're still people who want to become instantly rich. There is no way to eliminate this thing no matter what we do. I think we have to accept that this is a part of the market and besides, it helps the victims to realize and could tell that there is no such "instant rich scheme" in real life. It all has been accompanied by hard works and dedication before we're going to reach our goal.
2270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 22, 2021, 08:55:29 PM
And 3rd is the Thunder getting 11.5 against the Hawks.  I think they can run with them and this will be a high scoring shootout type of game.
I like the 3rd pick, OKC is not really a bad team, they lose their 2 games but in a competitive manner.

Giving 11.5 to the OKC seems too high for me, so I might as well join you with this one mate.
Also, I'll take the ML as well, just a few dollars to add some excitement, you know what I'm saying.  Smiley
2271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What I understand about bitcoin on: November 19, 2021, 08:52:35 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency that provides you with different kinds of earning including trading, stalking, mining, etc. As concern to the guaranty & surety of some business or trade, it does not happen anyway. In business, there are ups and downs and The man who comes into a field to earn . He has to take risks. So it is said," No risk no gain:.You can see that millions of people, companies, banks institutes, and businessmen are e involved in the business of digital currency and it is enough that BTC has more than a decade period of life.
In the first place, those who come and get involved in crypto must have known the risk. All the ways in earning a profit from here correspond to risk and if we got mistakes, losses are usually its return.
On the other hand, we can't underestimate the market. But if you will invest in Bitcoin and hold this for many years, I'm sure you will get rewarded. We can really see that this project had placed an important role in the market that it find a reason why it has a sustainable market gain than seeing it crashed.
2272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start somewhere on: November 19, 2021, 03:25:56 PM
For me, starting small from starting big is not different at all, I mean you all both starting however your point of view is still the same regardless of how much you have in the start. For example, you have a $100 as a starting fund and the other one has $1000, so if he bet $100 on his first trade while you bet $10 on yours, it's just the same.

You don't have to compare yourself from others, what's important is you know how to manage that starting capital of yours to make it big as the time passes.
Capital really matters in trading and if we think that to start big amount in order to get more profit? It is still uncertain...but the possibility is that you might lose big also if you are not doing well. But to start small amounts while learning is in great advice by most, I think we need to follow it and in fact, we can top more funds if we are too prepared and have enough knowledge.
But anyway, it is all about our choice, we can risk more and start huge amount if we can afford to lose, nothing wrong with that provided that we don't blame the market nor the others.
2273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 19, 2021, 03:37:27 AM
That was an amazing comeback by the Warriors, they were down big time but they manage to come back in just one quarter.

Warriors limit the Cavs by 8 points only while they made 36 points in the 4th quarter alone.
I thought Curry was injured he seems to be having an easy game with 40 points and 9/16 from beyond the arc.
With how Curry is shooting, he might be able to surpass Ray Allen's record this season and he will be in the top 1 of most 3 points shots made in the history. That's how good the Warriors, they can come back anytime even with a huge deficet, so no team should be complacent when they play the Warriors.

Did you take the live bet when the warriors are down?
Unfortunately I missed it, I was not able to watch the game live so I was not able to find a way to place a bet as well.
2274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 19, 2021, 03:09:22 AM
.... but they built a team around Lebron
Funny how you said that since what happened was more like they built a team that can still win even without Lebron or when he's injured. You don't "build" a team around your superstar and fill the roster with mostly veterans. It's not balanced and it looked like a desperate move after what happened to them last season.

You can call it's a desperate move by the Lakers management to get all this veterans and put it on one time and then can't find the perfect fit to all of them.

Somewhat though, I remember the discussions about them in the pre-season games where the Lakers lost a lot of games and we say that it is not that important. But now it seems that we are seeing that even today, they are struggling to win and now that Lebron is out, it is far more evident that the veterans are not jelling as they supposed to.

They are not desperate, they can still be a championship contender even if they didn't get Westbrook.

I understand what the Lakers did, they just want to improve their lineup by bringing all the friends of Lebron James, lol.
Unfortunately, they are struggling now because Lebron is injured but he'll be back soon so don't worry too much.

They might need more time to still figure out how a have the right chemistry, and what matters is that they are still in the playoff standing.

It said it went through I didnt get such a message anyhow
I will buy more tomorrow and try again hopefully it will work
You have to be careful in accessing sites that are not popular. There are a lot of fake/pishing sites on the internet have to be sure that you are visiting the right one but I guess you know that already.
Anyway, with what you've done and upon being doubtful on your first transaction, it has to think then about something wrong with the site. Having an ERROR is somewhat could tell that your transaction never went through or that you never receive any confirmation, which is really strange. For me, I don't add more unless it was found successful.
2276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why businesses should accept Bitcoin payment on: November 18, 2021, 02:15:33 PM
We are now in the computer era, more and more things happen online and I think we should have to embrace and adopt such changes for us to become more productive. To adopt crypto and even make use of it doesn't mean that we are ripping off fiat money, it was just an alternative and I think it was very clear to us.
The use of crypto is still limited at this time, only a few have already accepted this. if this going to happen that establishments have this payment option, it could really be expected that many will also spend their crypto rather than converting it to fiat money and they save time in return.
2277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 18, 2021, 10:57:05 AM
After Golden State put on a show last night I’m looking forward to some more quality NBA basketball tonight. The Lakers are playing the Bucks on ESPN, so it’ll be one to watch. Looks like still no LeBron after missing 7 games as he is still listed day to day and no update on Nunn’s situation. Should be an easy win for the Bucks, but we’ll see…

The Lakers are a hot mess so I wouldn't bet on them winning. Westbrook is inefficient and everyone else is way past their prime since all the young talent got traded. Not a great look for them.

I think they have the talent to win, they just aren't be utilized well.  Howard should be starting and getting more minutes.  Monk shouldn't be taking shots down the stretch.  Westbrook needs to be allowed to do what he does and needs something to do when he isn't doing what he does...  Once LeBron and Nunn come back there had better be some changes or else the coach will be long gone...

Yeah, another loss by the Lakers, they don't shoot so bad but unfortunately, they cannot stop Giannis who scored 47 points this game.
This is the Bucks that won the championship last season, they have Middleton back already so it's really a tough challenge for the Lakers to beat them on
their home.

Same with the Nets.  Their coach is not utilizing their guys correctly at all.  Aldridge didn't even play the first half last night against the Warriors when they needed him to make a size mismatch.  Terrible coaching.
Coach Nash he made a mistake on that game but overall Nets are still good because they are rank number 2 in the East already, next to Wizards.

I don't think Steve Nash made a mistake though, he really had to sit KD and Harden down in the 4th because they just really waved the white flag at that point seeing Curry on fire and the fact that they can't really do anything else at that point, I guess Steve Nash did this to prepare for the next game, and they won today against the Cavs.

Nash made a mistake on their defense that's why they lose with a huge margin in that game, sitting KD and Harden is not anymore part of the strategy, so obviously I'm talking about the mistake before they wave the flag.
2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 18, 2021, 10:23:50 AM
We really can't tell if Inoue are going to wait for this fight or will have to fight another boxer to be busy.
Inoue does not have to wait for too long, the fight of Casimero will happen this year, so if he wants, they can schedule the fight early next year.
Or if he wants he can have a rematch with Donaire first then Casimero.

So still depends on him an Bob Arum, and as we all know, Bob has the history of protecting his cash cow until he knows that he is going to win.

Casimero is a dangerous opponent for Inoue no question about that. And although we've heard that they are supposed to fight, it didn't happen because maybe Bob doesn't want it to happen and then this whole mandatory come into light.

Inoue won't get a good fight if he will not fight the champions in the same weight class, so if he wants to have big fight, he needs to move up.

2280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investors their mind on: November 17, 2021, 11:11:18 PM
It's joyous to make gains in trading. The problem is how does one control his mind when there is a huge lose
Stressful, yes. That is why people should ready from emotion to capital in trading. So they still can think clearly when face huge lose. It is hard yes but it is basic thing that we must know before do trading. If me i will take a break until i am really fit to trade again. Because if i still angry after my last huge losses, big chance i will do same mistake and it will only make it worse.
emotional mind is one of the enemies in trading, and it will affect our trading,
I myself have been through this, even though we are good at chart analysis, you will not be able to win if emotions are still not calm,
everything has an influence in trading, capital also affects, try to trade with a lot of money, then your mentality will be tested
Emotions indeed and thats why you do really need to control this factor because this could really affect your mindset and proper thinking on making out decisions which would greatly affect on what are the things you are currently doing but before you do able to to achieve this state then it would really be on the method of getting or gaining real experience on various situations or conditions because you wouldnt really make yourself to be that tough or strong if you arent able to experience those
which simply means that losses or unfortunate events are really that inevitable thing for you to avoid on.
Emotional stress...and it can really be stressful if we don't know what we are doing. This thing gonna be changed and need to address immediately for this will be the reason for our failure and losses. Real investors never think that way, indeed, they become more positive thinking and decline those things that could give them discouragements and this is why they grow and win over their emotions. I know we can do this as well, only it needs to trust ourselves then and not to stop learning.
