a correction can not happen every day in a rising market (or bull market). and if you look around you can see that there was already a big correction a couple of days ago which was about 11% drop in price and then it recovered and started rising again.
and this time the correction will happen near the $4000. if it can not be broken then it will happen below it and if it can be broken (which has a less chance of happening) the correction will be delayed and price will probably stay above $4000
I think this time can be different, because it is rising too fast, and since SegWit was approved and the fork was proven to be harmless, people are buying by the hundreds. Maybe the correction will only be at 5k, or even 10k. So might be better to buy now and hold, since these values can be reached soon, as the curve gets steeper. |

Nothing bad happened after the BCC split, in fact the price increased and we even got free coins.
So I guess there will be nothing bad in a SegWit2x fork, and we will have more free coins to hold.
So, I dont think theres reason to panic anymore.
I just want to know... will we have another dip? And when? And how much? I'm more confident in bitcoin future now, I think it will be bright, I think it will be great. Just want to buy more before we can skyrocket to 10k at the end of this year.

Hoje estão todos dependentes da internet, você entra num ônibus e todo mundo com a cara num celular. Vai acontecer o mesmo com o bitcoin no futuro, e quando isso acontecer, 1 satoshi valerá 1 dólar. |

I cannot think on a reason to have a dip. Once SW is activated the price should go up. But its not activated yet, it was just signalled. Activation is due August 21st, after a grace period for the miners to update their software. I have a feeling there will be a dip, its just difficult to speculate how much it will fall. |

Creio que se o BTC ficar splitando a toda hora, a credibilidade do mesmo vai embora junto, assim como o preço.
O BCH já foi algo totalmente inútil, uma rede com 93% em mãos de um miner desconhecido, ou seja, centralizada.
Agora mais uma desavença pq os nerds não se entendem, se houver segregação Segwit x Segwit2x, ETH e outras altcoins com potencial poderão clamar o mkt.

Era uma coisa que eu estava me perguntando outro dia também, onde foi parar o Daniel Fraga. Acredito que ele tenha meio que sumido do mapa por causa dos problemas que ele teve na justiça. Ele deve estar tentando decidir para qual paraíso fiscal ele vai se mudar. Ou então qual mansão ele vai comprar, caso já tenha se mudado. Isso se ele não comprou um paraíso fiscal só pra ele Espero que ele tenha comprado uma ilha e construa uma grande pousada lá, para alugar para outros bitcoiners que forem acusados de "evasão de divisas" (mais um destes crimes sem vítimas que o Estado gosta de inventar) e tenham que fugir do país. |

Parecem que eles querem desconectar automaticamente qualquer nó que use segwit2x no futuro, mas ainda tem tempo para eles entrarem em um acordo. Vamos ver o que vai dar.
Mas aí que está o problema, não tem nenhuma menção à SegWit2x no Core 0.14.2, ou seja, eles vão desconectar quem mesmo? O ABC é outra rede e já está desconectado, pois armazena BCC. Só se eles desconectarem todas as versões antigas do Core que estavam rodando no momento da ativação do BIP148, mas isso bifurcaria a rede mais uma vez, afinal os mineradores ainda estariam sinalizando o SegWit2x, ou seja, moar free coins. |

ps: voltando ao tópico, em termos de altcoins tô com NEO e OMG agora, NEO vai explodir quando icos chineses começarem a vir ano que vem. A menos que algo muito imprevisível ocorra, bota aí NEO acima de 100 usd fácil.
Eu acabei de ler sobre esta NEO agora há pouco... é uma moeda em colaboração direta com o PBOC, uma espécie de ethereum chinês, altamente centralizado e que armazena dados financeiros de quem a possui, os quais são repassados ao governo chinês. Não sei se é uma boa idéia confiar nisso aí. |

Eu deveria ter escutado o Daniel Fraga em 2013, quando ele quase me convenceu a comprar bitcoin com seus vídeos. Mas não tinha como usar a moeda na época, não tinha UM produto ou serviço sequer pra comprar com ela. Foi só em 2015 que eu fui comprar meu primeiro bitcoin, na época gastei uns 900 reais, e uma parte dele foi usada pra pagar minha cloud no MEGA. Foi a cloud que me pôs na trilha do bitcoin, mas era uma moeda só.
Eu deveria ter comprado mais.

I don't get why people are against 2MB.
They just want to create FUD so that they can open a window for us to buy more bitcoins. But I remember seeing a graphic were 2mb would result, in the long run, in a 1tb block folder, which is too much for storage. |

Yeah, this time chinese miners will get rekt mining 2x bitcoin with declining price to 200$ and below. BTC brand is reserved for bitcoin core, so it will be the real bitcoin for some at least. The problem is that this contentious split will scare most ot the traders and they will start panic selling down to 40-50% from the ATH. At least this what happened many times this year. But this is just the beginnig of the drama. Core dev's are planning for a change of POW (asic resistent of course), so that they will enforce the new version of core's software to work even if 100% of the pools are mining 2x bitcoin. If that scenario happens, I would expect a further price plummeting.  I'm confused now. Will the miners release a new wallet for the 2x bitcoin, will it have a new name? If I have Core 0.14.2 in one system and 0.15 in another, will I have two kinds of BTC, one 2x and another for LN? More free coins? |

Parece que hoje o BItcoin Cash deu uma respirada e voltou a subir. Ainda não resgatei os meus. Vou esperar mais um tempo, pois nunca contei com esse dinheiro.
Eu não venderia o BCC/BCH agora não, eu holdaria. Vendi o meu por 0.148 logo no início mas me arrependi, deveria ter segurado. Eu só vendi pq meu saldo BTC=>BCH é miserável kkk Mas se tivesse uma quantia acima de 10BTCs, teria vendido metade somente, nunca se sabe. Tenho 2btcs e estou holdando. Consegui sincronizar o ABC hoje de manhã depois de oito dias rodando. Já enviei uma parte pra bittrex mas não vou vender, vou só segurar lá pois é que nem no filme do Highlander: só pode ter uma blockchain de bitcoin no meu computador. |
