2561  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Minerpart.org Review For Fraudulent Website - Warning: fraudsters on the horizon on: June 30, 2021, 08:46:41 AM
Hopefully no one has fallen for this because that's another win for these scammers if someone has already fallen for it.
The fact that they keep creating/using new domains on a regular basis, is an indication that they've succeeded [unfortunately].

You've got to be kidding me Angry

When I reported their last domain from the previous thread, I received the following emails from "DomainsPricedRight [screenshot]" and "GoDaddy [screenshot]" and I'm starting to think, there's no point in reporting them to their registrar [wildwestdomains] since it appears they're not doing anything to stop this user.
2562  Other / Archival / Re: [PROPOSAL] Reporter Popup Update on: June 30, 2021, 07:47:27 AM
I would like to make a proposal to the forum admins for revision of the reporter's pop-up windows.
~Snipped~
Why not make tooltips without links from previous cases, but just one suitable word that was universal in all previous reports on such a violation of the rules, where a link is required.
~Snipped~
Then we just choose the prepared answer: plagiarism, and add our link. If there are saved prepared answers based on past reports, then it is easier to do them all without links,
AFAIK, the pop-up window that we see based on our previously entered data has nothing to do with the forum itself; I think it has to do with the browsers that we use and that's something that the forum software might not be able to interfere with altering a portion of its data while saving anything that it doesn't count as a link [I'm not a back-end coder or developer by any means, so don't quote me on this one].

Having said those, most of us would probably welcome having a set of predefined messages in a form of a pop-up window.
2563  Economy / Lending / Re: provide me a loan on: June 30, 2021, 05:33:35 AM
How do I contact you privately
What for? So you can take advantage of his/her information; besides, @PETER18 already knows the true nature of your so-called "Professional Loan Service" [read the last comment on your thread].
- In addition to those, pay attention to the following information:

2564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright is real Satoshi? No way! on: June 29, 2021, 01:41:46 PM
Apart from taking down the flagship cryptocurrency’s founding document, Cobra will also have to pay £35,000 ($48,655) in legal fees.
Imagine Cøbra doing the following thing, then it's safe to say that CSW is never going to get his filthy hands on those funds Cheesy

@CobraBitcoin
Happy to pay Craig his costs for the Bitcoin whitepaper case.

How does a BTC payment to the address associated with block #9 sound?

I may not agree with some of Cøbra's previous actions, but I do agree with the following tweet...

@CobraBitcoin
The whole thing is such an abuse. Being able to sue “persons unknown” *outside* of the jurisdiction is stupid. So is granting default to someone who shows no proof of their claims (his only proof is swearing to be Satoshi). And then ISPs nuking sites based on that. Like WTF!
2565  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need API Help | Please recommend on: June 29, 2021, 11:14:35 AM
a reliable Crypto API system

generate addresses.
I'm not a back-end coder/developer by any means but AFAICR, you can achieve that with both Blockchair and BlockCypher.
Note: The first one that I mentioned it's not free.
2566  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 🔮 Monetory.io - P2P offers aggregator on: June 29, 2021, 09:52:16 AM
  • Combined search queries – more than one payment system can be specified by each side of the exchange!
I had a quick glance at your platform and because of the above feature combined with the auto-refresh part, I'll be bookmarking it Wink

  • Doubtful offers are hidden automatically.
I think this would've been better if it was part of the "Pro" mode instead.

  • Of course, we look forward to get your feedback, suggestions and comments!
A dark mode and an independent review section might come in handy.
2567  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Influencers on: June 29, 2021, 07:52:42 AM
As the title says looking for influencers.
You can find a bunch of them from the following lists: List A and List B
- It's only focused on cryptocurrency YouTubers but most of them are active on other platforms as well.

Dm me the details, With price.
Ironically, most of them don't have accounts in here; In other words, you have to approach them instead.
2568  Economy / Digital goods / Re: SELLING - Custom Miner Script on: June 29, 2021, 06:15:45 AM
I present a new alternative to mine bitcoins cheaply and quickly.
No, you don't!

With pagerminer you can rent a mining equipment lose your money in just 3 clicks.
FTFY Wink

Benefits of renting a computer with pagerminer.com.
In case you forgot, you're renting out [pretending to] ASIC miners, not a computer [there's a big difference].

Video is stock footage seemingly from inside of one of Bitmains largest facilities.

Definitely stay away from this one.
And in addition to that: [Warning] Pagerminer has plagiarized content
I'd go with the following:

  • USD Coin [USDC], Tether [USDT], and Chainlink [LINK].
  • yearn.finance [YFI], Maker [MKR], and TrueUSD [TUSD].

New tokens daw so possible na maraming i-add si coinsph
Since tatlo lang ang tokens dun sa picture, sa palagay ko tatlong token lang ang madadagdagan.

ang kailangan nilang idagdag is SLPs ng Axie Infinity. 🤣

2570  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Chinese Bitcoin Mining Company Delivers First Machines to Kazakhstan on: June 28, 2021, 07:06:30 AM
Not good! We wouldn't want Chinese miners to enter the bitcoin market again. No matter the location, the miners will be under Chinese control which is not really desirable.
From what I've read in the past few days, most of them have partnered with other companies; In other words, their influence/control over those mining operations is somehow limited.
- I don't think it's fair to generalize them... I'm sure there's a big difference between them and their government.

who knows what's going be happen in Kazakhstan during the next years? how stable is the government? maybe after one year Kazakhstan ban bitcoin mining too.
Those are the type of risks that they have to "always" deal with it [regardless of the location].

Besides Kazakhstan, BIT Mining also makes Texas a mining destination.  In that state of the United States, BIT Mining invested 25 million United States (US) dollars or around Rp. 361 billion to open a new mining center.
IMO, Texas isn't a suitable location; AFAIK, they have their own issues when it comes to power outages.
2571  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Newbie from spain. Can you help me? on: June 28, 2021, 05:41:36 AM
I have my new air conditioning with 4.5Kw of power (i suppose this is enough to cold the ASICS),
Based on the following things, you may need a few fans to keep their temps down or within a normal range:

  • Size of your mining room matters.
  • Location of your mining rigs in relation to the air conditioner in question.
  • The manner in which your mining rigs are placed next to each other.

There's a whole thread about it here

2572  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cruise Ship holidays for less (Bitcoin, crypto or USD) on: June 28, 2021, 04:31:50 AM
100usd (or crypto equivelant) every month
I read about the part that said in return, we'll be receiving $200 and we could use that for booking cruises on your platform, but I don't think that's feasible in the long run [unless I'm missing something].

Get paid to Cruise!
Can you explain more in regards to that?
2573  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this a punishable offence? on: June 27, 2021, 05:33:46 PM
I was never aware of the scam issues of 1×bit from the start which occurred many years ago. Some persons used the avenue to red trust me just because I participated in it which is unfair.
I assume you already know some of those issues but for some reason, you're still wearing their signature; Care to explain why?

Thanks, I usually give them about a week before I leave any negative feedback so that there's no excuse. Nobody who's advertising the scam casino is going to be left out.

TL;DR: Forum rules and community standards are two separate things and are sometimes in conflict with one another.  That's just the way it is on bitcointalk.
Exactly! @Desmong refer to #4 from the following list [a bit outdated]: Things not against forum rules but frowned upon by community!
2574  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAmWATCH] Cryptobold.com; Fake Trading signals on: June 27, 2021, 04:31:58 PM
It looks like you forgot to archive it so "here it is" and while I was browsing it, it felt like I've already read some of its parts before; So I did some more digging, and here are some of the other fake platforms that use similar words:

All of the following websites should be considered as fake/scam:
- In other words, Cryptobold is nothing but a rip-off.

2575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Always use ip address from El Salvador to shop online on: June 27, 2021, 03:09:40 PM
@remotemass
This only makes sense if a lot of online stores have BTCitcoin as one of their payment methods, but that's not the case [unfortunately] and even then, we can achieve similar results ["pumping BTCitcoin"] without using a Salvadoran‎ IP.
- I read all of your posts in this thread and I do agree with what @avikz said; It's going to be more beneficial to El Salvador than it'll be for BTCitcoin.
2576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Dorsey vs Elon Musk(meme Master) on: June 27, 2021, 01:16:51 PM
and now Musk had accepted the invitation
Not sure if I'm missing something [I've double-checked everything], but I went through all of the tweets and in none of them I saw any sign that Musk has accepted the invitation...
- Personally, I can't see him [EM] and someone that knows more than him [in regards to BTCitcoin], sitting next to each other in "any" event and having conversations about BTCitcoin [it's a risky move for that freaking clown].

Update:
You probably missed it. Tongue

I don't see it happening as anything next to impossible though. Though I doubt it, take note that it probably doesn't necessarily mean that the "talk" will be livestreamed in the first place. It's a conference though, so it probably will be.

You're right Cheesy Thank you for posting it [I really hate how Twitter works] Cheesy
2577  Economy / Speculation / Re: Summer dip?!, December price outcome? ---> JOIN and guess the price GO! on: June 27, 2021, 08:16:34 AM
I'm mentioning all users with at least 250 earned Merit (data from last week) so if they use a bot for it, they'll receive a notification about this topic:
Thank you for doing that Smiley

$84,400 [box 259]
- Initially, I came up with $84,482.34 but box 260 was already taken by @LFC_Bitcoin, so I went with the closest one.

Reason/formula:
  • I based everything on 2013/2017 BTCitcoin's value [specifically the first day in June and December], then calculated the downtrend growth in those periods.

    • Jun,1,2013 = $89.53
      Dec,1,2013 = $732
      732/89.53 = 8.17 growth

      Jun,1,2017 = $2,465.49
      Dec,1,2017 = $13,880
      13,880/2,465.49 = 5.62 growth

      Jun,1,2021 = $33,130.33
      Dec,7,2021 = ?
      Growth = ?
      • 8.17 [2013] - 5.62 [2017] = 2.55 [possible growth in 2021 (Jun - Dec)]
        33,130.33 x 2.55 = $84,482.34 [Dec,7,2021]
I doubt mangyayari yun [at least for now]... Tulad nung sinabi ni @sir_danny [kind of], mas malaki ang chance na gumawa sila ng sarili nilang CBDC kaysa gawin legal tender ang BTCitcoin and since may mga banks na hindi na tumatangap ng crypto TXs [like BPI], then maliit ang chance nito [indirectly related].

or kailangan bang most problem occurs for Bitcoin get solved first  before adopting it?
To some extent, yes.

and that’s why maraming businesses ang hesitant pa sa pag tanggap nito kase baka malugi lang sila especially nasa bear trend tayo.
If online businesses ang pinag-uusapan, then may ilan gateways/processors na may auto-conversions.
2579  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-06-25] El Salvador Will Airdrop 30$ Worth Bitcoin to Its Citizens on: June 26, 2021, 08:14:29 AM
@SFR10

The poverty rate is very high there. Half of the population is poor. So you can be sure they will use the $30 given. They can eat probably during 1 or 2 week with that. Who, being poor, would refuse free money?
You have a point but if that's indeed the case and they're that poor, then perhaps "some of them" have problems when it comes to owning a cellphone as well.
- A big portion of their adult population might never be able to utilize this airdrop [unfortunately].

anyway can other country signup for this airdrop  Grin Grin Grin.
They can't; Check the following video:

- Here's the "video".
2580  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BlenderWallet phishing attempt? on: June 26, 2021, 07:00:57 AM
Some Newbies on Bitcointalk claimed the same. The accounts were only created to post this, which is what many scammers do to promote their scam.
Judging by its timing ["after what I said"], it does look like what you mentioned.

How do they even know 100 BTC was stolen?
They probably made that up and it's a perfect case wherein none of the affected users [if there are any] are going to disclose such information and they'd probably do the same as well [nature of their service].

None of their recent announcements makes much sense and I see the following things as possibilities:

  • A marketing strategy to create some buzz and increase their reputation.
  • It was never a "non-custodial service".
  • Somehow it really got hacked.

Personally, I'm leaning towards the first two being the case, but I could be wrong.
