Hi Ronnie from Cloudbet.

Just a quick questions - the BTC prize pool will be transferred to cloudbet account as a "Funds"  or as a "Active Bonus" ? Or transferred to a winners BTC wallet ?  Cheesy

As long as I don't run into any pushback from our payments team, I'm planning to send out the BTC pool to the winner's BTC wallet  Wink

With only 7 people left it's looking good for the people still in the running - plenty of BTC to share around!

Have a great day!

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

can i change my prediction once i placed?

@niceboy999 - Sorry I missed the question, you can change your guess before the deadline if you like (good job you didn't this time! Wink)

All I ask is that you make a new post to change your prediction, rather than editing your original post - that way I'm more likely to notice the update, and it's clear when the change in prediction was made.

Well done on making it this far by the way!  Wink

Wow, now thats a pretty big upset I wasn't expecting!  Shocked

Not sure if anyone was watching the fight, but Ngannou won by KO/TKO in under 26 seconds!

Only 6 people picked Ngannou to win, so this was one of the biggest hits to date with 20 players knocked out!

Morning all,

Hope you had a great weekend  Smiley

@SaitamaX - I'm assuming your nickname on Cloudbet is the same as here? I've just asked for an update from our support teams and they have assured me that the issue you contacted them about has now been solved. Thanks again for your patience while this problem was addressed.

I'm aware there is still some ongoing discussion here about various issues, as well as speculation that arose during recent complaints - we will be issuing further comment on this shortly.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Afternoon all,

Hope you've had a good week!  Smiley

Apologies for my lack of posts and responses, as some of you might have seen there's been a few priority issues on the forums that have been taking up my time.

I've just been through the thread and updated the spreadsheet with this week's entries - we are still waiting on 11 entries so I'll send round some reminders soon.

Velasquez: 10
Ngannou: 6

We started off leaning heavily towards Velasquez, but there's been a run of Ngannou picks in the last day or two. Either way this should be a close one! Personally I'm leaning towards Velasquez, mostly sue to the trouble Ngannou has had in the past with wrestlers. If he can stay on his feet and land a couple of those powerhouse punches it's anyone's game!

Shout out to an@sha on the first use of the safety net!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Good day all,

This message is an update regarding the complaint from OP. We have been following the conversations on the forums and we are aware that his case is causing concern in the community, not least about the length of time it’s taken for us to comment.

Please rest assured that we haven’t been ignoring the issue. We take all customer complaints seriously - regardless of the financial amount involved - and do our best to ensure a speedy resolution.

In this case, our fraud team has needed more time than usual as the case is quite complicated and involves several different parties and inconsistent information from the player. This is our standard procedure if there is any suspicion of fraudulent activity.

Please understand that we have no desire to stonewall - but there is no value in updates without any new information and we are not able to comment publicly on specific details regarding this case.

Curacao Egaming - with which we are licensed - will act as an arbiter here and we are bound by any ruling they make.  We encourage the player to reach out to them directly to present his case.

We intend to fully respect the decision that is reached by Curaçao Egaming, and we hope the community will too.

Cloudbet have been serving customers honestly and reliably since 2013, and although player complaints do arise from time to time, we have always had a steadfast commitment to resolving them fairly and quickly. Sometimes however, thorough investigations are necessary to ensure that we can guarantee a safe and enjoyable gaming experience for all of our players.

This can sometimes take time, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

Thanks,

The Cloudbet team

Afternoon all,

I've just updated the sheet and sent reminders to the seven people who made it to round 3 but haven't yet got their predictions in.

I'll go with France win . Someone have to Grin

I love a vote for the underdog!  Grin

But if the wisdom of the crowd is anything to go by, it looks like England should take this one!

Bazinga442 - There have been several people from different territories contacting us via different channels to claim ownership of the account, with varying degrees of evidence provided. That's about as detailed as I can be without disclosing private information about the account in question unfortunately.

I'll post an update ASAP.

Thanks,

631  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CLOUDBET IS SCAM! They are not paying for winning bets! on: February 07, 2019, 11:40:06 AM
Hi Ginelli,

Apologies for missing this thread, I was responding to the issue on AG and our meta thread and just noticed this one in a trust reference.

I'm really glad we were able to resolve the issue and get the funds released despite the delays while we worked through the information from our provider.

As a result of the investigation we will also be removing certain functionality within the Live Roulette game in question that was central to the suspicious behaviour.

Based on the feedback from Ask Gamblers we will also be raising the bar in terms of the level of proof required from our providers to enforce our rules around suspicious activity.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Morning all,

Slightly behind schedule, but all free spins have been sent out from Round 2!

There were a couple of entrants who I wasn't able to gift spins to due to weird territory restrictions from providers on certain games, so those people have received a casino bonus instead!  Wink

I've also updated the spreadsheet with the prizes paid, and entries for round 3.

So far:

England: 16
France: 1
Draw: 1

Still waiting on 12 entries, I'll send a reminder round tomorrow for the others.

It seems if France wins... guys... no one will predict anymore  Cheesy

Sorry for my bad English Undecided

I'm a little bit worried about a random France/Draw result now!  Tongue

England wins.

Also Ronnie, what does "Risk free bet" in the clouds 3 and 4 mean? Smiley

So basically if you make a 0.003 BTC / 0.006 BTC bet on any event in our sportsbook, you can send me the Bet ID and if the bet loses, I'll refund your stake as a sportsbook bonus!  Cheesy

I'm beginning to suspect people are saving their 'back your bet for a safety net' bonus card for the BTC prize pools  Wink

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

youngamericandream - I've been responding on our meta thread but only just saw this one, apologies for the slow response.

Our teams have investigated your activity and the use of VPN to bypass our territory restrictions was proven.

If you can provide our teams with the relevant documents to prove residence in a non-restricted territory then we can get this resolved quickly.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
634  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet not responding for my 330 BTC withdrawal on: February 07, 2019, 10:20:23 AM
Hi Swofty,

Apologies for getting to the thread late, I've been at a conference this week.

I have already responded to your complaint on Ask Gamblers, and to the DMs from one of the Twitter profiles that initially claimed ownership of the account.

Unfortunately I haven't received any updates on the investigation, but I will post here and on AG as soon as I receive any additional information.

As I have stated previously, there are concerns about the ownership of the account and due to the large amount of funds in question, we want to be sure that the correct decision is made.

Please note, the 'CloudbetRonnie' account above is not affiliated with Cloudbet, and the imgur links posted that show conversations between 'support' and 'VIP Team Cloudbet' are either faked, or a scam attempt directed at OP from fake accounts. Please be very careful and do not respond to these messages with ANY private information.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
635  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: February 07, 2019, 10:09:02 AM
Hyp3 - I've just checked with our payment teams and your withdrawal should now have been processed, apologies for the delay.

AGD815 - Ginelli/Antonioo's case was solved when we received a report from our providers that we didn't feel proved conclusively the use of third party software, despite our ongoing suspicions about their gameplay.

As a result of the investigation we will also be removing certain functionality within the Live Roulette game in question that was central to the suspicious behaviour. Based on the feedback from Ask Gamblers we will also be raising the bar in terms of the level of proof required from our providers to enforce our rules around suspicious activity.

Swofty - I haven't responded on AG yet as I haven't received any further updates on the investigation. As soon as I get some additional information I'll respond there and here, and our support teams will be in touch directly.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Evening all,

Apologies for the lack of responses, I’ve been at a conference this week.

I’ve finally have some good news to share on one of the ongoing issues being discussed. I’ve posted our response on AskGamblers but also wanted to share here:

Cloudbet Casino - Problem withdrawing 38 BTC

Antonioo - We have concluded our investigation, and based on new information from our gaming provider, have made a decision to reopen your account. Your withdrawal requests have now been processed.

I can understand your frustration with the delay, but with this type of investigation its necessary to be diligent to ensure a safe and fair gaming environment for all of our players.

We have disabled the games that allowed these exploits until further notice.

Muxen5 & Abright135 + Others - I’ve noticed a few reports from players in France, Holland, and Australia claiming that they are somehow blocked from our site. This was definitely not intended, and our teams have now solved the issue to allow access again. Apologies for the downtime, and thanks for your patience while this was resolved.

I’m aware that there are some other issues being discussed here, and I’ll respond to them as soon as possible when I receive updates from our teams.

Finally, I’d just like to reassure people speculating about our ability to pay out - we are still processing withdrawals as usual and our bankroll is as high as it’s ever been. We simply have to ensure that we follow our set processes and investigate thoroughly when accounts are flagged, otherwise we are inviting every dishonest player online to come and try their luck.

Thanks, and have a great day!

639  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: February 01, 2019, 05:03:15 PM
Evening all,

Damn, I take a couple of days off and suddenly everything is on fire when I get back!  Wink

AGD815 - I’ve spoken to our teams and they are confident in our findings when it comes to the player you contacted us about. The account was logged in to from multiple countries within minutes, and unless he’s discovered a way to teleport then it’s a clear case of VPN usage.

As I’ve stressed before, and despite the player trying to mislead us with claims of travel, we still allowed all deposits to be reclaimed before closing the account. I understand you are unhappy with this decision, but continuing to make threats of legal action and negative PR campaigns will not change this decision.

Youngamericandream - After investigating further our teams are confident that a VPN was used to bypass our territory restrictions. If you can provide evidence that disproves this then we should be able to get the whole issue settled very quickly.

The solution to these type of issues can be summed up pretty easily - if you are a resident of a country that we cannot offer our services to (USA, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore) then please don’t create an account at Cloudbet using a VPN to bypass our systems. There are plenty of alternatives out there who will happily accept players from those territories and you wont run the risk of having your account closed and bets voided.

Feels weird encouraging people to sign up with our competitors, but hey, it needed to be said.

Angry0ne - I’ve been told this is a known issue that is being worked on, we have had a couple of similar reports via this thread and I’ve been passing on all the details to the teams dealing with the problem. I’m hoping to get an update on progress soon, and I’ll PM you and post here when I do.

VINSIN - I'm part of the Social and Community team at Cloudbet, and it's usually just me using this account on BCT. Peter might sometimes jump on to cover downtime or post something specific, but he signs off as himself so you always know who you are speaking to.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Sorry for the lack of responses yesterday, but i'm back and ready for some Super Bowl action!

I'll be sending out Free Spins now to the players who PMed me yesterday, good luck!  Grin

I've updated the spreadsheet for round 2, we are still waiting on about 17 predictions so i'll send round some reminders this afternoon to make sure they don't miss out!

If you are still sitting on the fence our sportsbook team have put together a new Super Bowl blog breaking down the Rams and Pats teams, key players, and the best value lines for bitcoin betting!
