[YouTube] My Cloud Rainforest Ecosystem Vivarium Series - AntsCanada

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5vZEY2A9f_h1WEcKKbo-RoY7Y4GjkuUy

Check out this series.  AntsCanada builds a rainforest in his house!  It is one of the best series of YouTube videos I've seen and it's still being added to weekly.  We can also help decide what happens in the future by voting in the community tab on the channel.  If you like bugs, aquariums, or just plain old good storytelling, you'll love these videos.  They have me wanting to buy myself an ant farm from his website and try my hand at ant farming. Cheesy

If I had a dollar for every time a user accused me of running a Ponzi Scheme only to have it discovered that they are running a Ponzi Scheme… I truly feel sorry for those who got caught up in this mess and won’t hold my breath for an apology from any of you. Some people just can’t be trusted to hold money for others. Now you know.

remind me again of how much you made off of using the forum funds to gain airdrops/keeping the forks etc?

You may not have actually "stolen" any thing but you are still slimy AF for how you went about it. Even Theymos said so...

Then how all the seats are not funded until they reach thresh hold? Meanwhile you have 90% of all the seats? Yes, I have checked your accounting and it all seems correct - however, how long does it take for a seat to reach thresh hold? Years? A decade? oh and how will they accrue any balance now as the mining pool is closed and you sold your miners? are you getting more? is the only way to accrue more for the seats is by buying seats?

You should just pay out everyone who holds a seat for their balance and end your ponzi.

edit: or explain how much of your bitcoin wealth mostly comes from running a pass thru to pirateat40's ponzi - the original bitocin ponzi

Patiently waiting for the reply to this. Heard all about the forks and airdrops ponz but the rest was news to me

I have him ignored for his constant lies about me, but I'll respond for you if you'd like.

I was paid 0.5 BTC per month + was allowed to keep anything except the BTC/BCH/BSV/BTG (I think on the BTG, going off memory).  I'm sure there's still a bunch of forks at the address I never bothered to claim.

I was not called "slimy AF" I was actually left positive trust feedback by theymos for my service.

I do not own 90% of the seats or even a majority of them.

The seats aren't funded until the threshold to keep small seat owners from having dust build up on their address that they cannot spend because it would cost more than the transaction fee to do so.  If one understood Bitcoin, they would know why nonnakip put this in place.  I didn't have anything to do with it actually and was alerted after it was put in place along with everyone else.  How long it takes to hit the threshold depends on the amount of seats someone owns and the amount of support the organization receives.  I try and do my part and I think the hundreds of BTC I've donated to the project over the years should be evidence of that.  The seats have never received BTC from the sale of seats.  All distributions from seats have always come from donations or mining rewards.  When one purchases a seat, you're purchasing it from someone else in the club and that person receives the BTC.  Even when people buy Minted Seats, they are minting a seat they own or purchasing a seat from another member automatically when minting one through the shop.  The amount from the sale of Minted Seats that is donated to the club is the proceeds from the sale of the coin that would typically go to a coin maker, but I generously donate to the club.

I have a standing buyback offer for anyone who wants to sell their seats for their share of the coins held by NastyMining and have had it on the thread publicly since March 28, 2021.

I lost my BTC in pirate's ponzi alongside everyone else.  It's weird that he speculates about my Bitcoin holdings and thinks I would need to do anything shady after being an active member in this community since 2011.

Making baseless accusations at someone who cannot defend themselves as they passed away.  You truly are a despicable piece of shit.

We could dig into it further but like I already said, there's no need to shine wrongdoing on people who are no longer here.  I've been quiet about it for years but we can talk about why I left the Coin Council Slack Group if you'd like.  It's 2024 and people are airing shit out.  I'll Katt Williams the fuck out of this community.  Cheesy

Once again, let me try and steer this back to the Bitcoin Penny situation and how concerned we should all be.  What amount of loaded coins has he sold?  What's the total amount of potential liability here if he decides to use customer funds like an ATM again in the future?

If a mod could not delete this so I don't have to keep explaining this over and over again every time I post in this section, that would be great.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Updates from the COPA v Craig Wright trial on: March 07, 2024, 07:17:55 PM
Thank you for your continued coverage of this event.  Any idea when this will be wrapped up?  I get that a specific day isn't possible (or maybe it is?) but perhaps you could give an estimate or a percentage of completion that you believe the trial is?  I'm tired of seeing all this coverage and hope that a loss for Craig means he'll drop this satoshi nonsense and get back to whatever it is he does.  Seeing BSV rally as a result of this trial is a little entertaining though.

It's comments such as this that remind me how much I miss Zepher [RIP]

Viz

Ahhh yes.  I remember the Slack scam where someone pretended to be Bobby Lee and scammed 20+ BTC from a user there and then was so generous with their supporters until they overdosed.  Class act.

This is about Bitcoin Penny running a Ponzi though...  I really don't think we need to start investigating and shining a light on the wrongdoing of people who are no longer here.

EDIT: Funny that your post is merited by the guy who ran the friends of satoshi scam...
685  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STAKE IS SCAM ($12,000) on: March 07, 2024, 06:37:28 PM
yeah, i think the fact that they are telling me i need a utility bill to get my money back shows much incompetence on their part.

It's typically the easiest way to prove your residence because everyone pays utilities.  It isn't like they're asking for your social security card.  It's a little strange that you claim you don't have a utility bil, which I can understand why they would see that as a red flag, but there is certainly some form of mail that comes to your house right?  You aren't the only person to ever exist that doesn't have bills are you?  Why the refusal to provide if you aren't lying about your identity?  It seems odd that all they want is a piece of legitimate mail with your name and address on it, yet you think this is a bridge too far.  Sure, we are all entitled to our privacy, but they have a business to run and have requirements they have to adhere to or they will get shut down.  I don't want Stake shut down because you don't want to provide a utility bill...  That isn't fair to the users who are using the site legitimately.
686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: March 07, 2024, 06:27:08 PM
After taking a look at the schedule for today I decided to go with a couple of my hometown teams.  Smiley  Not much to work with as far as odds, but hopefully this will get me a parlay win and a couple of my home teams some wins.  Given my record as of late, I need this.  LOL.  I am concerned how the Kings will fare against Wemby.  They're sort of a short team.  Either Wemby will be a problem or Sabonis will bully him into irrelevance.

687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 07, 2024, 05:40:23 PM
Shams is reporting that Ben Simmons has now been deactivated for the rest of the season. He had a few flashes of his old self this year but went right back on the disabled list in no time. I think he’s just not wanting to be an NBA player anymore. I wouldn’t give him another contract. His trade to the Nets might be the worst trade of all time.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 24 march 2024 : final verdict for SBF. Did you lose funds ? on: March 07, 2024, 04:39:41 PM
FTX came out of nowhere under the guise that their CEO was such a brilliant trader that he made billions trading Bitcoin and started the world’s biggest exchange seemingly overnight. It didn’t pass the sniff test from day 1 and that’s why I never had an account. Pretty much any entity willing to pay you an interest rate on Bitcoin to store your funds is a scam. Nobody can promise interest on Bitcoin because it is a limited resource. As the saying goes, if you don’t know where the yield comes from, you are the yield.
689  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: March 07, 2024, 04:34:18 PM
I would've quit Bitcointalk by now but seeing this drama still continue is the biggest reason why I'm still around. I will try to be here for every moment of this.

At this point, I think I’ll probably be paying for my new Cybertruck with all the paid posts I made throughout this drama. So I guess I owe a thank you to all the folks who continue to attack me with lies. Without them I’m not sure I would reach such a wide audience. Just make sure to click that signature and sign up for a Stake account. Turn those negatives into a positive. Smiley

I had posted this along with the fight advertisement but I guess a moderator deleted it and set it not to notify me so I couldn’t easily repost the graphic and all the information here. I won’t bother posting it again, or the link to Jake’s social media post, but it’s out there if you want to search for it and see the actual fight announcement.
692  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: March 07, 2024, 04:11:51 PM
@OgNasty, you are doing exceptionally well, mate.

Thank you. I’ll admit it is difficult to remember to do anything 100 times a day but I’ve impressed myself that I haven’t managed to miss a single push-up yet since I started this challenge. I will admit I have had a few close calls, seeing the clock nearly at midnight and dropping to the floor for my last set. I’m not sure how long I’ll keep this going, but I’m sure when I do miss a day, it will be the result of my memory.
693  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The American primary election. on: March 07, 2024, 04:08:11 PM
The recent news of the Biden administration flying illegal immigrants into the country is grounds for treason in my opinion. He’s actively aiding in the invasion of the United States. The guy should be defending himself from being convicted and punished for treason, not running for another term. Anyone dumb enough to vote for him should be forced to live in a sanctuary city.
694  Other / Meta / Re: Hey Theymos, There Should Be a Demotion Button on: March 07, 2024, 04:02:44 PM
People are obsessed with adding negativity to this site. The last thing the people who have destroyed the trust network’s legitimacy need is a new way to start harassing people on these forums. Take note of the folks that are for this idea and stay far away from them. That’s the best way to improve your forum experience.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 07, 2024, 03:49:36 PM
Looks like we may possibly have a preview of the NBA Finals tonight as the Denver Nuggets face off against the Boston Celtics on national TV. Luckily this one will be on TNT so we can have a chance to watch. Sure, Denver is number 3 in the west right now, but they’re the defending champs. Denver hasn’t been playing great lately though, so I think Boston might take this one.
696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: March 06, 2024, 11:20:59 PM
^ We’ll see. He’s going to be bombarded with podcast requests now. I don’t think he’ll be able to resist. At this point, I am leaning towards this fight not happening or going spectacularly wrong for Garcia. He’s in a downward spiral he needs to fix before trying to move forward. Something is going on with him and I think it is going to have a major effect on his next fight.

Some of the OG's will remember ASIC Miner, one of the first companies in the world that made the ASIC popular and they got their start right here on the Bitcointalk forum, what a story:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smmphyFWkwQ&list=PLgyXCPiFWW1li2e4V460SZNzZo4EnzpZx&index=1

Freaking ASICMiner… I still own a bunch of shares of that (supposedly) and am owed a lot of BTC. A shame that guy disappeared and screwed everyone. I think it was friedcat right? Would be great if any of the old asset issuers from GLBSE came back to give back ANY of what they stole from their victims.
698  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2011 Casascius Error Coin on: March 06, 2024, 08:01:30 PM
It would also suggest now is a good time to find me and murder me for it.

That's a good point.  There's also 0 chance that you'd get a sale without pictures showing the object when you're talking about tens of thousands of dollars.

I would recommend locking this topic, taking your sweet time to go get some pictures of your Casascius coin, putting it back into it's secure location, then listing again with photos of the condition and proof of ownership so that you aren't putting yourself at risk.  It is great that you mentioned you are willing to accept escrow, as that will go a long way towards establishing trust with a potential buyer.

Good luck with your sale!
699  Economy / Reputation / Re: Standing Strong Against Unjust Attacks: A Call for Community Support on: March 06, 2024, 07:53:16 PM
Good luck.  LOL

Just look at my trust ratings.  I have some negatives from DT members and have protected tens of millions of dollars for people here while never misplacing so much as a satoshi.  Unfortunately, people would rather weaponize trolls against those they disagree with than have a legitimate trust network.  OP's post is even merited by a user who includes a proven extortionist in his trust network.  The hypocrisy among users here is off the charts.  Sadly, those who stand up to the abusers are targeted for years here while regular people stay silent in hopes they won't become the next target.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US Spot Ethereum ETF on: March 06, 2024, 07:42:52 PM

"SEC pushes back BlackRock, Fidelity spot Ethereum ETF proposals
The SEC has again delayed its decision on spot Ethereum ETF applications from BlackRock and Fidelity as analysts continue to tip May as the month to watch."

___
I have no doubt that BlackRock and Fidelity will achieve their goals. But I have big doubts about other cryptocurrencies and the SEC will severely punish other large projects.

If Blackrock wants it to happen, it will happen.  That's just the way the finance world works when you own everything.  For this reason, I too believe that there will one day be a spot Ethereum ETF.  Maybe not as soon as this year, but it will happen.  Too many wall street folks were involved in Ethereum for it not to follow in Bitcoin's footsteps.  I wouldn't go selling your BTC for ETH, but if you've got fresh money looking for a spot to sit, grabbing some ETH and leaving it staked isn't the worst idea.  I think of my ETH holdings like a stock and have some exposure like I do with many companies, but it pales in comparison to my exposure to Bitcoin.
