I'm good to go next weekend. Wherever we play I will grab a screen recording again as I will be playing from the comfort of my home lol.

I'm good with playing anywhere and the time doesn't matter much for me I can go a few hours earlier or later.
702  Economy / Gambling / Re: 3/29: Bitcointalk Private Poker Tournament #5 @ Sportsbet.io - 40 mBTC GTD Prize on: March 30, 2020, 02:00:57 PM
Congratulations for your win mate - well done! Even though I dont like you calling it a cool spot when taking me out, haha. Cheesy Well, to be honest, A8s wasnt a hand to go all in with against you two in that situation but hey, who cares.
Lol cool was probably the wrong word - I think interesting suits it better.

You probably were feeling a touch pot committed and were getting decent odds on a call.  Either way GG can't wait for the next one.

good game, guys. i was on zero sleep and actually fell asleep during the game and started blinding out. my sleep schedule has been horrible for these games lately. woke up short stacked and shoved 44 into AJ, and villain hit the board. oh well! i didn't feel up to re-entering.....

congrats on the win, Steamtyme!
Thanks. I was wondering what happened to you lol.  You showed up on my table for a bit and noticed you were sitting out so I assumed it was another late night sleep in lol; guess I was lose to right.
I fell asleep in a tournament one time I was 5 out of 120 or something woke up in the morning to having blinded out in 15th or 18th something.

Yet again we had a lovely tournament there!

Congrats, Steamtyme, on winning the tournament! At one point, an hour and a half after the start, your chip stack was almost the smallest  around
~
and yet you managed to win in the end. My hat's off to you, mate. Good job!

Thanks. I definitely had a lot of ups and downs I remember trying for my first double up and it winding up being a split pot but I missed why. I definitely got lucky in a couple spots and was on the right side of a few flips.

As always you played a solid game.  Looking forward to the next tournament. I am available next weekend and will do a screencapture of the gameplay again.

GG guys that was a fairly wild final table. Super slow at times then big action at others. Not sure how bad it got I tried to keep myself on sitting out when things got crazy here at work.

At one point I was in a pit 15 feet underground, shortly after I was up a 60 foot ladder unplugging a bucket elevator.

I had 2 real good get there's I remember I think they may have both been with 77 the one was against Iv4n who had JJ.

Real cool spot was me and betwrong both with AK taking out elfiatis.

Again GG all. Thanks Steve from sportsbet for the tournament.

Can't play number 2 though, to crazy at work right now.
704  Economy / Gambling / Re: 3/29: Bitcointalk Private Poker Tournament #5 @ Sportsbet.io - 40 mBTC GTD Prize on: March 29, 2020, 05:00:27 PM
Made it in late got into 2 hands before the break and both times I wound up against a straight lol

Can't seem to get it into full screen on the phone and will have to give up on custom bet sizing.- it's just to difficult and time consuming.

705  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: March 29, 2020, 01:46:44 PM
If i'm understand right, the maximum is 15 players, and i can't register there no more -_____-

No that was the minimum number of participants for the tournament. It's common when there is a guaranteed prize pool. Good Luck
706  Economy / Gambling / Re: 3/29: Bitcointalk Private Poker Tournament #5 @ Sportsbet.io - 40 mBTC GTD Prize on: March 29, 2020, 01:16:11 PM
Man I wish I wasn't working would be a great day for lots of poker.  Nice to see the second tournament that has been added.

I see there are 15 entrants registered so it's definitely a go. I funded my account again to make sure we got there.... and seeing as it's kind of slow here I guess I'll just have to register and play from the phone again lol.

See everyone in a few hours.
707  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: H .014 BTC wtb Paypal preev 1:1 green trust only (Online)(Open) on: March 27, 2020, 07:48:55 PM
I'm guessing USD? I have 66$ in my paypal if so and would be willing to trade. If you PM me your PP info I can double check there are no other fees on my end before you send BTC.

I'm at work but will check frequently
708  Economy / Gambling / Re: 3/29: Bitcointalk Private Poker Tournament #5 @ Sportsbet.io - 40 mBTC GTD Prize on: March 27, 2020, 02:01:49 PM
nobody i've talked to has had KYC sprung on them at sportsbet.io---i'm not too worried about that, especially at these stakes.

the country restrictions are more of an issue. anyone who is planning to play should load up the poker room ASAP and make sure they can access it.
right my mistake, that's what I meant. I just sort of lumped them together.
Hi Guys,

Ill be around on Sunday and I'll give you my word... The winners of the poker tournament WILL NOT be Kyc'd for their winnings Smiley

Play with one account and good luck!

Also, some countries are going into daylight savings too.. keep that in mind if it affects you or not.

Sign up and lets play!

regards,

Steve.
Sportsbet.io

Thanks for the info and offering up this tournament.
709  Economy / Gambling / Re: 3/29: Bitcointalk Private Poker Tournament #5 @ Sportsbet.io - 40 mBTC GTD Prize on: March 26, 2020, 01:15:05 PM
Nice surprise you have there. The guaranteed prize pool might bring a few more people out, not sure how many of the regs can bypass the kyc.

I'm working but will send some funds over, if it's a slow day I might be able to partake with some afk moments.

Definitely a nice gesture on the part of sportsbet.

GL all if I don't make it.

Thanks for the PM Phil.

Thank you Rxalts for hosting the raffle. Gl all
711  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: March 23, 2020, 10:30:11 AM
Yep, that was a little weird. But more cringe was one time, when i lost to you despite you were afk -__-

Tournament was nice, but i didn't know that rebuys is available until some time :c
in the future if someone is AFK you should bet. They will be automatically folded out, that happened a lot in the first tournament.
712  Economy / Gambling / Re: MARCH 22: Bitcointalk Private Poker Tournament #4 @ SwC Poker. COME PLAY! on: March 22, 2020, 09:13:25 PM
Looks like it was a solid tournament all around. Disappointed I couldn't get in on this one but, I'll be there next time.
I almost let my inner degen out and set an alarm for 4 hours after bedtime this morning... thought the better of it.  Seeing how long it ran probably for the best... probably  Grin

I did however finally play an hour of micro cash games to earn my krill and my next buy-in... micro staked crusher lol

Congrats Yahoo on the win, and to everyone else who cashed and/or had fun.
713  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: March 21, 2020, 09:47:50 PM
I was licking my wounds and didn't catch the end but it sounds like he thought it might play out faster heads up.

It really depends on stack sizes and blinds for how long a heads up match takes to finish off a tournament. 2 patient and tight players can use a lot of time between hands especially if they use their time bank effectively.

Maybe I misunderstood, but if not it's just part of Poker; and plays into some peoples strategies as well.

If he is talking about the breaks that really only added 10 minutes to the heads up match, and isn't something that can be changed.

GL tomorrow, I'll be sleeping away.

Anyone who played my table last timearound can check out the videos I grabbed from my table perspective, I posted it in the tournament thread.
i plan to watch before the next game you play. april 5th? Tongue
I welcome the exploitation  Wink
It's nice as I like letting people kind of pick through my play...which still has a long way to come. Helps me improve along the way. I will have to watch it again myself, but I think it was one of my better play days in a while.

Hope we'll get the links soon. I want to learn about my rivals' style s much as possible. Smiley
The link figment sent should get you to one of the videos and you can find the other 3 on the channel. Won't help you this next tournament, gotta earn that paycheck lol. See you April 5th though if it works for everyone else. I'll do the same thing next time, but will make sure I'm better prepared. Might even do a little commentary...maybe.

715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker talk - Specifically Hold'em - Hands and or strategy on: March 19, 2020, 06:27:47 PM
Thanks for uploading the videos for the tournament @Steamtyme, very interesting. I am no expert or pro, but here are some comments:
Thanks for taking the time to watch it and all comments are appreciated.
This hand - what was your thinking here ? What did you put Iv4n on ? I like the play, but river bet size was a bit too high imo, for what you were trying to achieve. A straight will always call you and you will lose. Pair of Q's or 9's will probably call you. Lower pairs and busted straight draws will not call you for 295. I think something around 100 would have been better, since you lose less against straight/QQ/99, but will make it more likely to get called from 77/66.
When I was looking back I wasn't sure exactly what I had put them on. Limp bets area tough call, My estimates where an Ax or Kx, maybe some braodway combos with a J or Q, I figured they most likely had a pair but nothing really strong.
The bet itself was meant as a polarizing size by going Pot or just a little over I believe. I would do the same thing sometimes with a made straight in this position.
In the very next hand, with 83s, you immediately pre-selected fold - I wouldn't do that. If two players just call, you can invest 10 chips here imo and check the flop. Just like it was here.
This one is just something that is outside my range for hands I will play, the second time around I wasn't actually thinking about it I was AFK... sorry guys lol. I would definitely play it though as SB VS BB.
I like that fold here very much, although a lot of people would say, that it's a bad decision. Same here.
The first one I would play as a fold or a raise sometimes. It's hard to figure out a set strategy for this game with all the limped bets pre. With some people I treat it as if they had raised pre and accept that is their standard open.
The A2 again would be a hand I would play S VS BB all day. The second hand UTG is just to loose for me with so many people behind left to act, if it were suited though I would likely play it.
Here I would have re-raised to isolate figment and only play against him. After he checked to you on the flop, just make a continuation bet, play the button.
Again just a little shy of my re-raise range, suited might fall into that category. I also know figment is a competent player so I remain aware of that when given the chance to get out of line.
This fold I don't know - you could just go all-in here as small stack with ~10BB.
If I had less than 2500 chips for sure. It is tough to watch them fold through when you are so short, but with ~12BB  I can still afford an orbit or 2 waiting for a better spot.

Here is how the previous hands I posted here ended up.

Good luck with the game this weekend. I won't be around working nightshifts but hopefully I'll make the next one; I work the next 2 weekends.

Hey everyone here is the link to the video. This is unedited and has no sound.
https://youtu.be/pXIja64WXP0

There are 4 videos total up to my elimination. I don't have a lot of videos on the channel so you can easily find the others.

First 2 videos were done at 15 minutes due to my account login problem then a long one until a break, and 20 minutes or so until my elimination.

Feel free to discuss my play just try and get a timestamp so I can review it easier.
I discuss hands and strategy here

I'm not sure  what the fees will be it depends on how much you want to exchange. I just ran into them the last time it was a EU account. Canadian account shouldn't be an issue unless you don't want If you send me your Paypal info I can check the fees.
719  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: March 16, 2020, 12:36:05 PM
I'm fine with 1 rebuy being available, i prefer this to increasing the buy-in. Helps keep it open to a wider range of people.

I work the next 2 weekends but would be available the first weekend of April, the 5th being the best. Not a problem if everyone wants to play sooner.
720  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Private Poker Tournament @ SwC Poker on March 15th. COME PLAY! on: March 15, 2020, 07:09:45 PM
Damn that set over set was brutal figmentofmyass. Before I knew what you had, I figured strong A or some strong pocket pair I turned to the wife and said "I'm going to feel bad for this hand".

In the end i couldn't hold, figured I had the strongest hand with my pair of Jacks but the flush draw got there. GG all.

I did get 4 clips 2 at 15 minutes each. One over an hour and then 20 minutes until I got eliminated. I'll get them on youtube in the next day or so hopefully.

To save some time for tyKiwanuka, the hand you said you would check the video I had 88, I believe it was a 10 high flop.
Early on when I re-raised you  on that river I had the nut flush. It was 2 hearts on the flop and a 3rd on the turn I believe.
