721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 05, 2024, 05:42:49 PM
Tonight we’re getting what may be a preview of the Western Conference Finals with the Phoenix Suns taking on the Denver Nuggets. As a nice little bonus the game will be airing on TNT so we can get a chance to watch it. The Celtics and Cavaliers are the earlier game on TNT tonight, but that one is a pass for me.
Can I ask what your basis is for why you considering the Suns as the team that will be in the Conference Finals? I mean why not Timberwolves? Or the Thunder? They might be a young team especially the Thunder, but IMO, the Timberwolves have the potential as well though I'm not rooting for them to win in the West. With these young teams being at the top, it's hard to pick which team will win in the West now. At least in the East, we have a clear pick on which team might end up in the NBA Finals.

In my defense I said what “may” be the western conference finals matchup. I’d agree that the Timberwolves have just as good or better of a shot to make it. Definitely not OKC though, they’re a first round exit.

Check out this highlight from the Jazz vs Wizards game yesterday. Probably the best play of the year so far.

722  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 05, 2024, 05:23:06 PM
Most popular crypto casinos now consider VPN usage in a gray area, as long as the user isn't from a banned country. For example, if a casino explicitly states that it doesn't serve US players, it's advised not to use a VPN to bypass that term of service (ToS). However, if you use a VPN for privacy or to access specific games, you can usually resolve any issues by chatting with their live support. In my experience, as long as you submit legitimate KYC information, you are generally free to use VPNs. I personally use a VPN every time I open my browser and have encountered no issues with my account across multiple platforms. This is because they now identify users through KYC rather than IP addresses.

Disclaimer: DYOR & DWYOR; this is not advice, just sharing my experience.

Indeed.  Users should be careful using workarounds to gamble with their crypto.  You might find that one day you have no way to withdraw your funds.  Imagine winning a million dollars and then discovering that you have no way to get it because you were gambling illegally and the site is now asking for proof of who and where you are.  It's just not worth it when there are legal options.  Some casinos, like Stake, offer a mirror for United States citizens so that they can gamble legally without the use of VPNs.  I would say to search out options like that before finding ways to get yourself into trouble.
723  Economy / Speculation / Re: ATH was just broken seconds ago! on: March 05, 2024, 05:17:22 PM
It will likely take a few attempts to get beyond the previous all time high and break out.  If you're a wall street trader, I imagine the trade would have been from the ETF approvals to the all time high, so we're seeing easy profit taking from traders right now.  I'm sure we'll see the same thing again at the halving and again at $100K.  So long as the demand stays around though, buyers will outlast sellers and we'll see a true breakout to new highs.  There's just too much money on the way between Blackrock and Microstrategy for this market to stay down for a long length of time.
724  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: March 05, 2024, 05:13:57 PM
Question: can the pushups be done through the experience of DCAing strategy? Can I do my pushups gradually gradually like 10 tomorrow, 5 the next day, 10 the following day?

The only rule is to try and be a stronger person.  However you get that to work for you is up to you.  I recommend doing 100 push-ups in small sets throughout the day to get started and gradually increase as you are able.  You'll be surprised how fast you can do more.  After a couple weeks 20 push-ups at a time will be nothing.  Be careful not to push yourself too hard.  If you pull a muscle you'll be missing a lot of push-ups waiting to get better, or put yourself through a lot of pain getting your daily sets in.  I would say to just worry about improving yourself day to day.  Don't worry about where you start.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: March 05, 2024, 05:10:17 PM
Here's a couple of picks from me today.  I honestly wouldn't recommend following them because the risk/reward just isn't there, but I felt like I needed to try and get a parlay win after the recent streak of losses.  This is what I came up with to try and break the slump.  Good luck!!

I’m definitely a sports betting guy. I feel like that’s the only way you can ever really be certain that everything is on the up and up. Your destiny is completely up to you. You make the call and win or lose based on your decision. I prefer that to random chance and hitting a button or pulling a level. Feels like there’s some skill involved.

Seems like some people don't like ATH's?

normal, traders selling at the top... maybe new price discovery only next week, see previous ATH chart

Yes. Some people like to buy tops and some people like to sell tops. If you’re only getting excited and wanting to purchase Bitcoin now that we’re on the top, you should work on your investing skills. I am always surprised for some reason how a majority of people only want to buy when things are up and dump them when they’re down.

That being said… Bitcoin to $100K!

The mempool has started creeping up a bit over the last week. This is pretty typical after a price increase as people move coins to exchanges. Elevated levels of interest I’m sure play a role as well. The ETFs are running the show right now, otherwise I would say we’ll see some consolidation and a return to a falling mempool before another big leg up. We’ll see though. ETFs are back sucking up BTC in 6 more hours.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 05, 2024, 08:30:18 AM
The Lakers is back in the winning column. I thought OKC can make it twice in the road without a day-off. Lebron James with another big performance, nearly triple double. This is Bron's first game since breaking the historic 40k career points. There is no slowing down for the legend. We'll see if the Lakers can make it in the playoffs this season.

But the best game of the day is between the Bucks and the Clippers. Gianisless Bucks were still able to hold the visiting Clippers. Thanks to the big rally in the 4th quarter. Superb performance by Dame with 41 points and Portis Jr. step it up with a double-double. The Bucks seem undefeated since the All-star break.

It's Dame time, I didn't bet on that game, but watching from the sideline and I'm thinking that at anytime, Dame might explode and shows proof that he can still carry a team in his back. Like in this case, without Giannis he needs to step up and that's what happen here. So no more coach Rivers critics now, they are all hiding as he proved that he still has it and now giving the Bucks that winning streak and the management are happy on the results of getting Doc Rivers for them.

Bad sign for the Clippers though, without Giannis this could be an easy win for them. And they almost did it, but they just collapsed on the 4th quarter and can't find the basket while the Bucks are having their own run.

Russell carried the load for the Lakers tonight but Anthony Davis and LeBron James both did their part on the boards to help get the win.

Dame scored a lot but could’ve been more efficient. I think the big story of that Bucks win comes from Kawhi Leonard having a rare off night on the court.

Is that congratulations? I’m seeing a new all time high!
732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 05, 2024, 12:55:32 AM
We could break through the all time high at almost any moment. I’d make sure you have your celebration dance queued up and ready to go. Tonight we celebrate!

734  Economy / Goods / Re: ~ Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN ~ on: March 04, 2024, 10:51:15 PM
Why did you pay more than 6 BTC?
Because Tesla (and all electric vehicles) is one big ponzi scheme and clown Elon tricked many people by adding, then removing Bitcoin support from tesla website, and dumping bitcoin.
Everything about Elon is fake, but if some people like to waste money aka bitcoin on steel junk that will become useless soon, go for it.

I am in the same boat.  I have a very low order number, ordered it within minutes of the prices being shown.  I have the ability to configure in my account now, but don't want to spend $20k extra and lose the $7500 federal tax credit.  In other words its $27k penalty to order now.

Of course someone just sold one for $200k plus.

Damn, you could buy it and don’t? That’s crazy. You get full self driving, lifetime premium connectivity, and a few other things thrown in with that $20K. In reality, it’s probably only a $12K penalty to get it early and you could sell it for a profit and rebuy one when the price drops probably for free before you wait for a regular invite. Only reason I’m OK with waiting is because I think I’ll end up paying less than 1 BTC for mine the way things are going, but if I got the email invite I’d configure immediately.

What was the first 5 digits of your preorder number? I’m 11322.
735  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is next significant correction coming? on: March 04, 2024, 10:20:01 PM
With Blackrock filing to buy more BTC for other funds it runs and Microstrategy raising $600,000,000 to buy more BTC, the only way this market comes down anytime soon is if mtgox distributes their BTC. Even then, there’s so much buying pressure right now, it would probably only dip for a week or two. For now at least, it’s up only.

Bitcoin Beezy has to be the best Bitcoin song out there.

The beauty of this song is that the chorus says, “I got 50 Bitcoin worth about a hundred grand.”

It was made when Bitcoin was at $2,000 and he meant the stack was worth $100,000. When BTC hits $100,000 this song will again be accurate, only dude is sitting on $5,000,000 now.

Seeing that we’re going to hit a new all time high in the next 24 hours has me wondering if we’re going to see some consolidation at that level or if we’ll blow right through into price discovery territory.

Candlelight? One color: green
Just one of those days

Some nights are difficult to sleep through the brightness of the candlelight.
