881  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: betnomi.com SCAM - confiscated $ 3,000 from me and closed the account on: November 14, 2020, 01:01:34 PM
----
If your account gets limited for whatever reasons, and you create a new account to bypass those limits, at least for me, you are cheating.

Do note that I'm not defending that the accounts can get limited, and I have no clue how they decide to do so; but if it does happen, for whatever reason, you can complain all you want (it may work), but having a strategy to bypass the limits? Not the way to go

I'm still curious to know about how the "account closing" is enforced tough... Hope both betnomi and OP do reply to that
882  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: November 14, 2020, 12:39:26 PM
maybe we can get in summary what exactly the problem is and why not paid out the winnings?
in summary.

So far, the user is claiming that their account was frozen and closed after being asked to go trough KYC; and betnomi is presenting some evidence of this user having used multiple accounts to bypass the limits; something that goes against the rules.

It's still going on, so if you have some spare time, give it some read
883  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: betnomi.com SCAM - confiscated $ 3,000 from me and closed the account on: November 14, 2020, 12:32:55 PM
----
Well, if multi accounting is not allowed, and this winnings were a result of a multi accounting scheme; I'd only return the deposited money (if any). If the user had been following the rules, they wouldn't have been able to make such winnings.... I'm talking about any user doing this; not this particular case btw.

Now, getting on what I've read so far....

First, some questions for OP:

The last message from the support team say that "your account has been closed".
Does that mean that you can't even log in?
Also, what day did the reply to this?

For betnomi:

You should improve communication with the security team; that for starters.
I personally don't see a pattern on the things you've provided; but I have no clue about how these security system works and so on. Let's see if some other user can vocuh for that.
Publishing the KYC photos... is a bit questionable here

For the rest:

I've also been reading the official betnomi ANN; and I'm surprised (not really) by your ability to pick specific posts and take them as if that was an absolute truth of the universe. They've said that they will not ask for KYC UNLESS: A) there's some kind of jackpot winning B)they detect fraudulent activity or any kind of wrongdoing.

Now, this is not the first, and won't be the last thread created in this section to try to stronghold a casino into forcing to pay some winnings that shouldn't have existed in first place, so let's wait before we jump into any conclusion. For what it seems to me, this is a user that was trying to cheat and got caught; and is now angry that they got caught without being able to withdraw the winnings (remember the mt.gox hacker lmao).

So I'd ask everyone to stop speculating and start reading the bloody evidence provided by both sides before answering some useless BS, and once you've read everything, give it some thought

Seeing what happened last time; I'd make the part in which you say that funds are escrowed bigger (personal opinion)

Necrobumping this because I still consider it to be a great idea and I'm not sure why it was forgotten so easily

2 responses from global moderators so far with different view

The first moderator said that my thread poll deleted due to low value
The second moderator said that my thread poll deleted due to spammers attract
That my friend, means exactly the same. The thread would bring nothing new/substantial/interesting to the forum, it'd just be people posting nonsense to increase their post count or make some posts for their shitcoin scam signature campaign.

The forum has some rules, and they are enfornced. If you don't agree with how things are handled, you can always leave; no one is forcing you to stay in a place where you are not comfortable.

Hello all. Dumb question but this thread is 557 pages long, how do I know if I have signed an address here ? I think I might have but can't remember for sure.

You can use the search funtion on the forum, or the improved one on Tryninja's website. I did the quick search for you, and you hace staked none here

Click on search: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search
Then write your wallet ID on Search for. https://prnt.sc/vituzp
Then click on check all if not checked. And finally click on search: https://prnt.sc/vitvb5

In this way you may get the post if you already posted on the forum.

I strongly disagree; in case of using the forum search function, he should only select the Meta board, and add an author to the search function. It is more precise, and usually faster
890  Local / Esquina Libre / Re: Ordenar foro on: November 13, 2020, 07:54:28 PM

891  Economy / Reputation / Re: maartenhaha --purchased or hacked account on: November 13, 2020, 11:46:43 AM
Do not know exactly which account he means cannot be accessed.
Maybe you are right, @maartenhaha, sold or hacked.
Since the post is in "investor based games" I'd say it's the one from the scam service the user participated; see OP

Regarding the languages; it's not strange that a Dutch national does also speak French and/or German, they're close so it does make sense. Same thing happens in Spain with portuguese and french.

The Indonesian post doesn't really match; there's a posting gap between  December 03, 2016 and the next post is the Indonesian one you provided; December 2017. A one year gap in which the account was probably hacekd and then sold

892  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: [Guía] Cómo reportar de manera efectiva on: November 13, 2020, 09:54:17 AM

893  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: [Guía] Cómo reportar de manera efectiva on: November 12, 2020, 11:23:28 PM

If someone wants to be a mod just keep reporting and if theymos feels you'd be beneficial on staff he may ask you at some point.

Yes. You can defend yourself tough

accusing me from changing accounts while nutildah was the one who tried to sell his account a while ago
lmao
My god; I've only been around this reputation board for a couple of days and I'm already tired about hearing from this story. Get over it, for fucks sake.

There's no reason why the "nutildah tried to sell their account 3 years ago" and "your account is a bought one" can't coexist
895  Other / Meta / Re: Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action ! on: November 12, 2020, 08:48:45 PM
Looks like for now maybe they run out of there sold and hacked Accounts as there was no new Fake ANNs since nearly 2 Days.
---
I must admit I got a bit lazy and stopped updating the posts here, but I reported 3 more of those fake anns today at 01AM forum time.... and a handful more yesterday and the day before that. No new one since those at 1AM tough, so it looks like we managed to stop some flooding...

I just had to jinx it, didn't I?

896  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Try to track stolen bitcoins on: November 11, 2020, 11:42:06 PM
Just for the sake of clarification; I actually had to read OP a few times before I realized what had actually happened.

You contacted or were contacted by someone (the 2 guys) that wanted to buy 1.5BTC in cash. 23.000USD in cash. I'm pretty sure that's rather ilegall and goes against many anti moeny laundering regulations, but that's not the point here.

You bought some BTC (1.52033000), and met with the guys.

You sent the guys the coins, and they ran away both with the coins and the 23k.

Is this part right so far?

Because there are a couple of things that don't match to your story. First of all, let me say that I'm calling you a liar, but there are a couple of things that stand out and require some clarification. Let's see...

You bought the 1.52033000BTC on the 10th of November at 10:00AM, and sent them to 12o7wnUF574txi3jGBxBM6cgPxc69xAFZW

From 12o7wnUF574txi3jGBxBM6cgPxc69xAFZW, the coins were sent to both 1HU46MCbGcZ3huKLGBPjtpHUP6bjaad6ep (your address) and 1MhAywXcTF78eWVttBsVawSUZyhc53DMkf. Same day, but at 10:25AM

You then sent the coins to 1MhAywXcTF78eWVttBsVawSUZyhc53DMkf, which is the scammers account and then they ran away. That happened at ALSO at 10:25AM.

So the problems with this timeline are the following:

-You sent money twice (?) to the thieves address
-Only 25 minutes happened between the operation in which you bought the coins and when you were robbed.

So... did you meet this guys to sell BTC, or did they offer you a price for using your binance account to buy them some coins? It's just odd that the time lapse is that small, and well, the fact the you sent money twice is also strange.

As a side note, no; there's not much you can do to track them down. Your only chance is to get in contact with authorities so that they get in touch with binance and see if a ring bells; but while doing this, I'm pretty sure you'd be incriminating yourself in a couple of felonies too....
897  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: November 11, 2020, 11:03:57 PM
Can Trezor-Suite be directed to be connected only to a local (or specified) bitcoin (core) full node?

Trezor seems quite intent on keeping connections back to the mothership locked down ... if you know what I mean.

Apparently you can (funny that I read the tweet about this today), but you have to install Blockbook first*:

899  Other / Meta / Re: Report flagged as bad by mistake? on: November 11, 2020, 04:54:36 PM
The only thing I see missing from the local rule is the genre; so maybe the mod handling the report deemed it not to be such a big thing. Even if the link is embedded in the text instead of in a separate space
