981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: September 14, 2023, 01:43:36 PM
Most people lose on slots, you never see a broke bookie or casino. As a gambler you’re not supposed to look at slots as a way of attaining an income. If that’s what you’re after you will soon be broke.

Slots and gambling in general is supposed to be fun, a hobby if you will. You are supposed to enjoy gambling and whatever happens, happens. It’s not supposed to be seen as a way you live or a desperation to win to put food on the table.

Practise responsible gambling, set limits, only gamble with amounts you can afford to lose.

True, and last night I have a fun and entertainment run on a slot games in land based casino's here. But in the end, lose some money, but it was ok though, play with friends till the morning and we just have some laughs.

So this is responsible gambling for me, at least even if I lost some money with it, I still have some fun. But for those who I see around, it seems that they are all desperate to win as you can see their facial expressions being sad.
982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Frank Martin - tentative date 11/16 or 12/9 on: September 11, 2023, 02:21:38 AM
An update on this fight: Frank Martin has pulled out and Stevenson is now looking to fight #6 ranked fighter Edwin de los Santos.
https://www.boxingscene.com/shakur-stevenson-seeks-new-opponent-wbc-lightweight-title-fight-frank-martin-out--177598

My guess is that Haymon has managed to pull some strings and another one of Haney's belts will suddenly be declared vacant so that Martin can face an easier opponent instead. Stevenson has called himself the most ducked fighter in boxing and that claim may be accurate. None of the top fighters in the division seem too interested in fighting him.

Thanks for the heads up mate!

Tough guess and I'd say that maybe that was really the case but even we say that Al Haymon wasn't the one pulling the strings behind the scenes, we still cannot blame Frank Martin for pulling out from this fight that could land him a belt once Haney will be stripped if he continue his journey at 140 pounds because he himself already know the chances and that the belt that he will be fighting for is not that realistic to obtain because he will be facing Shakur Stevenson, who is touted to be more intelligent and stronger than Haney.

But this is Frank Martin's chance to show the world if he has what it takes to become a champion, whether this is just for the interim belt. But his team pull out in the last minute as we have thought that everything has been settled down verbally as this didn't go on purse bid and so we've thought that this is a go fight already.

Perhaps Frank Martin doesn't want to take the risk here, as they know that Shakur might win and obviously will put a dent on Martin's career. Anyhow, let's see how will be the replacement, they will have to find someone else.

And for sure, Shakur will go to social media and tell that Frank duck them very clearly.
983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 10, 2023, 03:40:29 AM
But here, in this new weight class, it's not all about the power, it's going to be a thinking game as well. Like you said, Takuma is not well known for his power and yet he has won the belt. Because he has that intelligent and hopefully the camp of Ancajas will have a good game plan here, otherwise it will be Ancajas 3rd lost in 4th fight which is not good for the former champion.

It's a new journey for Ancajas, and he should forget his losses and simply learn from them. He should strive to win the belt currently held by Takuma, as if I'm not mistaken, the Philippines doesn't have a world champion anymore. Losing this fight won't help his future, as if he keeps losing, opportunities will keep fading as well. So personally, I'm rooting for him to win and betting on him as well. It's a tough situation, considering this fight will happen on the home court of the champion. Ancajas needs to be impressive so that judges would award him the win in case no one goes down.

I think he has already move up about his back to back loses already. In fact he already won via knockout in his last fight that's why he has been given the first crack for the belt that Takuma got when his brother Naoya vacated the belt.

Of course, majority is rooting for Ancajas to win, we want him to get back on track and become a champion again. He used to be the champion at 115 lbs and he has dominated it for years. And hopefully when bantamweight is open now, we might see a lot of fighters really getting into the position and perhaps another unification fight in the future.
984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 10, 2023, 03:26:30 AM
-snip-
Oh, and Serbia too, without Nikola Jokic I thought they were stopping at the quarter-finals but surprisingly they are now playing for gold. There's so much talent on that team and I bet even the Joker is surprised and happy about what is happening to his country's team.
Sure thing Joker is proud. It's a great feeling to see your fellow countrymen playing excellent basketball in the World Cup,and it's hard not to be proud and happy about their achievements.

But if Joker played in this tournament it might change how Serbia plays and affect the game's result for better or might worst, no one knows. Eventhough Jokic is a superstar having one on your team doesn't always make it better, remember the 2012-13 Lakers season having Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Howard and Steve Nash look how they end up on that season.

Others though are quickly to criticized Austin Reaves as they said they found a loophole on his game and that is his defense. There were moments that he did guard someone bigger than him in the post and so obviously it's hard for him to guard those players, but sometimes he over react and then in foul trouble in the FIBA tournament.

However, for the next season in the NBA, it might be a different looks though. Lakers had a solid defense overall, and with the addition of big men Hayes and Wood, for sure there will be more rim protection for them.
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: September 10, 2023, 03:13:26 AM
^^ I saw glimpse of the face-off, as usual Tyson Fury started to run his mouth again, but Francis just keep calm and then point to the belly of Fury, lol. As we all know, Francis body is solid as compare to Fury who has not have a good body but he was able to carry that so no complains.

And I also see Mike Tyson really putting his works to train Francis here. Maybe he saw something in Francis that he can upset Fury. Just to sharpen his boxing skills and footwork and then the timing of letting his hands to go score a knockout. It's going to be devastating to see Francis knocking out Fury in return.
986  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much ,as you think ,is 1 bitcoin in 2025? on: September 09, 2023, 07:20:20 AM
If you have been dca’ing since last Ath I think most people would be happy with a 4-5x which would put it around 100-125k$. I’m hoping for way more and am optimistic, wouldn’t it be amazing for it to breach 250+k$. Good luck all on your investments wherever we land Smiley
sounds really good price for even those that accumulated too late, but honestly i kept on wondering whether that price mark could truly be achieved after all if we see from the previous bullrun, how bitcoin can achieve as far as $100k which is quite massive honestly was solely for the reason of the participation of those institutional investors in which we know bringing about billions of investment into the market.
thats also why bitcoin market capitalization was growing so massively back then, but i wonder if there will be second wave of such trend now that elon's company are dumping their assets to the market.
but they could be making buy back in the future though, i guess it depends on just how well the market turning out to be.

but if btc truly surpass $100k then that will be massive gain for most of us honestly.

I think it's going to be like 6-7x, so most likely it will be around $150-$180k. Nevertheless I would say that 6 digits will be the norm in the next bull run. Of course this is just a prediction on my end, but who knows, if this happen then it could be a massive profits for anyone of us.

Not sure what you meant by second wave, but there are speculations that we will have like 2 bull cycles that never happen. So with that, I don't even think of someone like Elon Musk to affect the market. It will be just the retail investors and then institutional money flowing in the ecosystem next bull run.
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Frank Martin - tentative date 11/16 or 12/9 on: September 09, 2023, 04:19:00 AM

Here is the highlights for Frank Martin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_oVTxr_mRg

He is good, no doubt about it and he was being trained by Derrick James. But I do think that he hasn't fought a opposition as smart as Shakur is. He is a southpaw and Shakur has a good record fighting lefty.

On offense he is good but his chin was never tested and no one he fought are hard puncher All that he fought were patsies and low-level fighters Frank Martin will be in the biggest surprise of his life when suddenly he finds himself an opponent who can take a punch who can counter who can allude a punch.
I don't see this fight any different from fighters Shakur fought in the past, but he needs to look impressive here if he wants Haney he will be in line for major titles even title unification if he knocks out a fighter with an impressive record, even though the record is not something you can all A level record.

It's a matter of who has the better offense because Shakur isn't a big KO threat. We can expect that his opponent will survive the full 12 rounds. He only has a 50% KO rate, so I think Martin will be able to go the distance. However, I doubt if Martin can outscore Shakur since the latter boxes like Mayweather, who is hard to hit due to his quickness and high ring IQ.

I guess that is the only advantage of Frank Martin because he will have a full 12-round chance because Shakur is not that type of boxer who has a devastating knockout power. After that, it falls on him alone if how will he outsmart Shakur inside the ring because if we're talking about chances, Shakur will always have an upper hand even against boxer who is a KO artist because he can think clearly what to do and uses his speed to avoid punches that could ended a fight much sooner.

Yes, Shakur too is too intelligent to fall for that trick to engage Martin and fight him in his own game. I think Shakur will used his boxing skills here and it will be displayed with a total dominant win via 12 rounds.

Maybe Martin will have some rounds to win with his flash skills but I doubt that it can win against the technical skills of Shakur. With that, I will vote for Shakur to win by decision as well.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 09, 2023, 03:54:47 AM
A lot of talk about Christian Wood and I agree it is a good signing, but I still don’t think he starts or even replaces Rui when it comes to minutes. Rui had a great season last year and I think Christian Wood will likely get garbage minutes in comparison. I still say he’s an insurance policy in case Anthony Davis goes down.
More of a back-up Center for AD. That's his role. When Davis is on the bench, he will be the one who will sub depending on the situations.

I agree that Wood has been a great piece when he's in the Rockets many years ago, and played well there, but ever since he got traded, he became a role player, and sometimes he doesn't even play. Like what you're feeling, Rui already had a terrific season since he got traded to the Lakers. Just imagine if the Lakers' roster after the all-star is what their roster is when the season started. I doubted that they will just be at the 7th spot at the end of the season. From 13th at the start, to ended the season at 7th. I will not be surprised if this current roster of the Lakers now will be a championship contender, and as for Wood, he will be the one replacing Davis if just in case he got injured, so this might be a good thing for him to showcase his skills.
I highly doubt that he would be a backup at all. AD is a natural PF, and he has talked about how much he hates playing at the Center position not because of offense, but because at Defense he has to guard really big guys and he doesn't do that well, he is a blocker, not a post-up stopper.

This means that we could see Wood and AD playing together a lot of minutes. Obviously there will be moments when one of them is playing and the other is not, I do not think that they will be benched together and put to game together at the same times, but I do believe that the minutes they spend together will be more than they spend sitting down. Lakers do not have a proper C right now and Wood could fill that role very well.

Maybe for that statement they get a legit center with low risk since they can wave him out easily since the given contract is low if they didn't get good chemistry with Wood. For now they already have solid roster so I guess many are convince that this is a championship team already so hopefully they will not get a huge upset and exit on early rounds since this is really embarrassing knowing that they are the one create a big trades and roster changes.

Oh wait, they already have Jaxson Hayes right? I mean a young athletic guy that will play the center position. And with the acquisition of Wood which is also a pure center, then most likely AD will play the PF because that's how he is built, and maybe we can see more iso play for him in the block this season.

So they are pretty solid now, they have 2 big men that can play legitimate center position, and that can shoot the ball outside. We gonna see Lakers somehow dominating the paint or in the rebounding department and then start their fast break attack.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 09, 2023, 03:43:45 AM
^^ It's no surprised that Filipino boxers spar against each other, I mean they are going to support and so we have seen two great champion in Magsayo and Tapales sparring and trying to get as much experience specially for Tapales as he might have a upcoming fight against Inoue.

Although the fight has been scheduled already, we haven't heard though the official announcement. Nevertheless it will not hurt if Marlon Tapales will also prepared or preparing because anytime, the fight could happen.

It helps to build better stamina, knowing Magsayo with really solid combinations. If they will take this sparring seriously, I think it will help
a lot, as Inoue is expected to have that strong type of punches.

I think it's more of how Tapales can handle power, because as you have said, Inoue is powerful that he can even go up in weight and carry it. However, Magsayo has some heavy hands too so it will be a good experience and they can see if he has the chin to handle it.

I like the way Pinoy champ supporting another one, both can boost their skills from one another,
hopefully Tapales will learn things from how Magsayo play his strategy and execute his own
style of fighting.

It's deeply rooted on them, they love to help each other out so that there will be more Pinoy that can be a champion again. And for sure Manny Pacquiao might have visited them to give them the motivation to come up big in every fight.
990  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big surprise in mid-August - Do not panic!!! on: September 08, 2023, 04:42:22 PM
^We did drop to $25k again at the start of September, so yeah we might be looking for sideways pattern again as the sentiments seems to be negative. But surprised today, price going up to $26k and so with that, I haven't followed what is the news that put investors to invest some money and push the market price above it's support line of $25k.

But as you have said, oh, September is a bad month, but since it's the 'ber month, I was just thinking that investors might be preparing already for the big haul next year and prepare for the block halving. So yeah, let's see how it goes for September as we are entering the 2nd week this Monday and hopefully we can maintain $26k-$27k.
991  Economy / Economics / Re: Stable coin or having USD in bank on: September 08, 2023, 04:18:11 PM
If the conversion rate is high, USD in the bank is actually better. But the choice of banks in my country that allow to deposit foreign currency is very few and I think the process is more complicated than getting local currency. I personally don't want to pursue only one characteristic benefit such as complete control while ignoring other potential disadvantages. Suppose I have to incur additional exchange fees to local fiat because, using foreign currency for spending isn't permitted in my country.
To avoid incurring excessive fees through conversion into USD in a bank deposit particularly for those in countries where the dollar can't be used or accepted locally for purchasing of goods and services the best alternative should be to hold it in stable coins retaining value for your money. All you will doing is to be abreast with the market  to be in touch with current issues about such stable coin.
That would still work for bitcoin as well. If you keep it in bitcoin then you could end up making a big profit when it goes up as well. If it drops, all you would lose would be 10% or so because that's how much it usually drops at most, we are at 26k or so levels, a 2.6k fall would make it go under 24k, I do not think that it will get there, which means that holding at bitcoin would be better and it could reach above 30k and if it reaches more than that and does a big bull run that is even better.

That's why it is quite important to reach those levels, we should be careful about it. I get that it is not going to be that easy, but we need to be careful for sure. It is definitely something that we could do eventually.

But that could be just paper lose? I mean if you are not selling it and just seeing your portfolio going down, then I guess if it still good in my opinion as everything is in paper.

But the problem is that when you sell your bitcoin and then hedge it to like stable coin or withdraw it totally in USD and save it to the bank. With that, obviously it's going to be a lose for you specially if the price of bitcoin goes up in the next coming years as we all know that the catalyst for a bull run is going to happen next year (block halving). So it's not best to put it to stable coin or even USD, in my opinion.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 08, 2023, 04:04:47 PM
I would like to see Jerwin becoming champion again but I actually voted for Takuma by decision. Jerwin is going to get schooled if he is not bringing something new to his technique.

He faced two losses against the same opponent, Fernando Daniel Martinez. Given that Takumi's upcoming opponent might have a different fighting style, there might not be a pressing need for him to change his own style. Both camps will undoubtedly study their opponent and develop a strategy they believe will work best.

Honestly, I haven't observed anything particularly exceptional from Takumi, and despite Jerwin facing some challenges lately, I still believe he has what it takes to be victorious in this match.

It's quite too late for Jerwin Ancajas to learn a new technique just to increase his chances against Takuma Inoue and to the other guys in this weight class, as they say, you cannot teach the olds dogs to learn some new tricks. I say that Jerwin will stick to what he knows and will just study Takuma even further to increase his chances rather than perfecting a new technique that doesn't even guarantee anything, instead, it will put him to a risk because he's not even accustomed to it.

I guess not new technique, but some fighting style, as we have seen him falling in love with his one punch knockout that they change the fight on his favor. But Takuma is more of a boxer, not a brawler type so it will be a contrasting clash of styles between the two.

And with that, if Jerwin, will rely on his power, it might take him the full twelve rounds just to land that one solid punch. So at least adjust his style with the type of fight that Takuma will offer to him.

I agree and furthermore, it's kind of risky for him too if he will use the same style which he is known for when he was still in the lower weight class as I think that it's one of the few reasons why he lost twice against Martinez because he did let himself to be an open book to the opposing camp.

And in this case, we can assume already that Takuma is also working to counter those style because even if that might be predictable already but it's still deadly if he will get himself hit by it. And what Ancajas needed to do right now is to be versatile enough so that he won't be predicted that easily specially in this case where he has an advantage.

Yes, I guess those two losses against Martinez is already a wake up call for Ancajas to somewhat not just rely on his power but be versatile and learn to adjust to the strengths and weakness of his opponents.

If his opponents shows strength let's say in counter and in defense, then Ancajas shouldn't be the aggressive. If he found a loophole and weaknesses to his opponents then he should take advantage of it and then get the win. So for sure fans of Ancajas are very excited about this fight because they might think that he has a good chance to win against the brother of Naoya even if the fight is in Japan.
993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 08, 2023, 03:53:05 PM
Sad to see the United States get eliminated before even reaching the Final in the FIBA World Championships. While I don’t think these were the best players we could have sent, it seems like USA’s domination of basketball is losing its grip. They’d better send our best to win the gold at the next summer Olympic Games.

Not the strongest but I think the decent roster to fight for gold medal but they come up short and left behind by 2 points. This is huge upset to them since fans really believe that they are the one will reach up to the finals easily but the germans cut those expectation and show up some great dedication to beat up the giants then take home the win for their country. Guess this is better luck next time for team USA and for sure next world cup they might think about sending more stronger roster and also veterans that can help their world cup run.

They've been losing grip though not just in this FIBA but years ago, just look at who is the last MVP in the last couple of years, it's all European or at least not-American, Giannis, Jokic and then Joel Embid.

And then they sent just a decent player, there are no superstars in the line up except just players of pure hype. And so I'm not surprised if team that have been playing for so many years beat the US and Canadians for that matter.
994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A History of Sports Betting on: September 08, 2023, 03:26:46 PM
Betting possibly started anywhere in the world not just by the Romans. It feels like a natural human nature for people to test their predicting skills. Two kids in some settlement somewhere may have bet to outrun each other on their way to the river or something like that or people on local community games. Those other people were not just as powerful as the people who claim to have recorded it first, again "a rich man's account is what is taken over the poor man's own."

Yeah, it's more on just wanted to see how everything can be predicted and then with the involvement of money in any sports, it become so big. Nevertheless, it's good to see the history though on how it involved to the current state of sports betting.

Now it's totally different, there are the basic Money Line bet, and then the spread and others like parlays and odds become computed. But obviously, the odds still favor sports bookies, but that's how it is though. They are in the business of making money and so they will have to do everything to have the advantage.
995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 07, 2023, 10:45:57 AM
The Lakers have signed forward Christian Wood to a 2 year deal. Christian had a decent year last year averaging 16 & 7. I’m not sure how he’ll fit into the lineup but maybe he’s a little extra insurance in case something happens to Anthony Davis. Wood did dominate the Lakers in the Christmas game last year…

Good, I thought that he will be in the Warriors, but I guess Lakers is not that bad for Wood to be a destination team. Yeah, most likely it he will be some insurance for Davis, if ever AD got injured or something, at least there will be someone to cover the Center/PF department for the Lakers unlike last year.

Decent stat but he was not a impact to the Mavericks last year and I think he struggled with the rotation and chemistry with the players and it's good though that he has been released and then pick up by Lakers for a 2 year deal.

Maybe he is a slight downgrade from Davis (just a bit though). I mean, both can dominate the paint and can shoot from outside, so it looks like he can fit into the chemistry needed for the Lakers team to work smoothly. Davis' minutes need to be managed, as they cannot afford to miss him in the playoffs. So, having Christian Wood, who is known for his offensive skills, I think he'll shine with the Lakers. The advantage the Lakers have is their big lineup, so the defensive and rebounding liabilities for Wood may not be as challenging.

Christian Wood is not on the same level as Anthony Davis but at a minimum contract of just over $2 million next season, that's already a steal. His stats deserved a double-digit contract so this is another big achievement in terms of the Lakers' negotiating strategy. Wood is a good shooter outside and inside so he is definitely another offensive player to not take for granted. He is also in mid 20s which means he can still be developed, especially his defense.

The Lakers are really doing well this off-season with very good additions. And with Bron still playing at an elite level, this team will definitely give the top favorite teams a run for their money.

Yes, they are not in the same pay grade, and obviously he will be used as a back up for AD in case something happen to him. And so it was interesting to see him with the Lakers though, he didn't have a good playing time with the Dallas and really might not be a good fit for them.

But I do agree, they retain some of their core, and then trade or shift others and then give way to Wood to fill the gap for them. So it will be a different Lakers and hopefully Lebron can still perform at high level at his age.
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 07, 2023, 10:32:21 AM

With regards to the potential Canelo vs. Bud next year, it sounds crazy but really doable if Canelo approves it. If I were Canelo, I would take it since it is the biggest fight in boxing right now. He will be bashed a lot though if he wins and it could be worse if he loses to someone who moves up two divisions. I like Bud to win but I believe Canelo will be too much and destroy him.

No doubt, it would be the best fight ever since the guy will not hesitate to move just for the sake of beating Canelo and it will be the best opportunity for him as well because he won't need to sacrifice much since he is comfortable in their weight division, it would be best for him to accept such fight in order to fully raise their flag and we will seeing another huge fight next year once again.

Yes, and it will be a big challenge on the part of Crawford though, again as we said, he will be going up in 3 weight classes and facing one of the best Super middle weight, not just in this era.
But I like the what BoMac has said, he will also take this as an opportunity, on how he will outsmart Canelo's trainer which is Eddy Reynoso.
So this is not like just a fight for this boxers, but for their trainer as well. BoMac outsmart Derrick James when Crawford beat Spence.
And BoMac could be running for a obvious Trainer of the Year with that victory.

It hasn't been done before, so for now we can say that he has 0% to win against a Canelo Alvarez at 168 lbs, his prime weight. Heck even the 154 lbs in Charlo, who talks that he can beat Canelo, might be in a big surprised to see him in the ring. He is taller, but Canelo is well built and we haven't seen anyone crack that chin. So the odds are stack up against Crawford.

As for the trainer of the year, yes, back to back wins, first Crawford and then last weekend Eubank Jr over Liam Smith. Although there were news reports that BoMac was stop at the airport because the security find some guns on his luggage.
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Frank Martin - tentative date 11/16 or 12/9 on: September 07, 2023, 10:19:47 AM
It might a good fight in paper, but I'm seeing Stevenson winning in the hands of the judges.

Same thought here mate, Shakur is the next big name in boxing if handled properly. With this announcement, his supposed fight with Loma is off by now but the good thing with Frank Martin is that the latter has no loss on his record, this might add curiosity on some so that they will watch this fight but the truth is, this is a fight where Shakur will win no matter what as he can't afford to have a backslide on his glamorous career.

I agree, he is about to hit the prime years, and we all know that high caliber athletes when they are in their prime are hard to beat. And as much as Frank Martin is good, surrounding himself with good promoter like Spence and trainer in James, it's going to be hard for him to stop Shakur and it might be a bad timing for him to face Shakur at this point.

The thing with Martin is that he lack the experience, seen his highlights but there are no known boxers in his resume. While Shakur since before the lower weight has face a lot of great boxers and he all beat them technically, and some with body shots.
998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling Bitcoin on: September 07, 2023, 09:24:31 AM
It's absolutely fine to spend your coins if you are interested in buying stuff with it because that way it will help to spread the adoption at mass level apart from just holding.I know we see it as investment asset but we should not eliminate the base cause of its creation which was to make transaction. You can hold and spend at the same time if you wish to do so.

Yes exactly spending bitcoin for buying other goods is a better way to spread the news and information about bitcoin but everyone does not know about bitcoin and in some counties there is a ban on bitcoin so in those areas bitcoin cannot be used for payment method.

Using bitcoin as both a payment method as well as an investment method are beneficial but investment is under your control like when you want to sell and when you want to buy is your decision but in a case of payment so the seller will choose whether he accepted your bitcoin or is not familiar with it.

That's how it was designed in the beginning, as a payment scheme, like to be used in online to buy things. Some people might have known bitcoin for years already, but are afraid to buy or hold because of the negative connotations that some media has portrayed it. And about buying though, one drawback that online sellers might see is how volatile it is and the price.

And that's why majority now shifts their focus in the last 5 years or so in bitcoin becoming as a store of value, just like in the pandemic where it was a hedge against their wealth. And then some companies as well, putting their balance sheet into bitcoin.

The first fight against Donaire, it was the last time that we have seen Inoue almost lost the fight. It was a hard fought give and take and he absorbs all what Donaire can bring to the point that he suffered a broken orbital bone and yet he pushes for the fight and win it.

But there are fans or even boxers who thought that Inoue lost that fight. If I'm not mistaken, Roy Jones Jr was one of them. I remember as well though, that Jone is a big fan of Donaire so he might be biased on that.

Inoue, though, has a solid chin, as he was able to withstand the hard punches he received from Donaire. Maybe Inoue was overwhelmed at that time, considering Donaire is a popular boxer and he respected his power. However, Inoue made the right adjustment, using his jab effectively to dictate the fight. In the later rounds, when Donaire got tired, Inoue hit him with his signature punch that made Donaire kneel down. It was an intense fight, but the second half was dominated by Inoue, which I think he deserved to win and become a champion in that fight.

And that fight might lead Inoue to believed that he can win every fight. Sort of it motivates him, because of you look at it, if he can take the best punch of Donaire in 118 lbs and not get knockout, then for sure his next opponents can't knock him out.

And true to this, after this fight, all of his wins is via knockout as no one can stood against his power punches, not even Donaire in their rematch. So Tapales will really need everything here to be able to pull an upset otherwise it will be Inoue again with his second weight class unification.
