Not that Im complaining about this opportunity to buy some relatively cheap Gamecredits, but why the big price decline? Especially when it should be going up up up since getting $53 million to promote Game?
There's a massive sell wall on Polo holding the price down. Won't see much movement till it disappears or there's a major announcement to build some momentum...perhaps after Friday's live stream. That's true. and Always! every time the price starts to run up someone is trying to pull it down. Smelled like an inside job imo. Not an inside Job. That wall consisted of a couple hundred thousand GAME. There are dozens of people with that much at this point. A couple months ago 900k GAME worth 120 BTC was a wall. Now you can do the same with less than 100k. Ok then, not an inside job as you said. I don't get it. GameCredits, a real company, real product, real use-case coin, everything looks, feels and smells promising but $3.85 atm. Just don't get it? We're with you. But you know who doesn't understand GAME? Most traders  Most traders ask me why GameCredits is any better than bitcoin. All it is ignorance, and people's refusal to read. But what's wrong with that. People can get cheap GAME while it lasts. We don't do fake marketing to boost our price (like most pumps start from). We're saving the marketing for acquiring users to our products. GAME will rise. Our future is not dependent on crypto traders, it is dependent on gamers. GAME has grown a tremendous amount. There isn't an alt coin that has performed better over time (after all we started at .000014 USD, and have since risen over 15 million percent). It will be on top before people realize it. A year ago Jon Comer a long time GAME team member said we would hit 2-7 dollars by June or July of this year. People said it was ridiculous and we were a B.S. coin, well, Jon was right. In a year GAME will probably be 15-40 dollars. Taking for what you just said I hope people who are in for a long-term will take that as an advise to hold and not sell $Game too quickly. In the end of the day I've seen this coin everyday for a year and a half. People can sell all they want, let them. GAME is on a war path, which will end in the mass adoption of cryptocurrency through gamers. The future is brighter than ever, and plenty of people notice that. Remember when it comes to trading, you're making money by knowing more than other people. When the sheep aren't following something that seems sure fire to you, that tends to be a good sign. Agree. Let 'em sell, sell, sell. Get the price down and bring in more adopters for the long term. IMO only short term speculators want a quick price rise. If I had a really huge amount, I would try to get the price down by putting up sell walls. Maybe that is what is going on ! |

Ok, ive said it quite a few times already but here it is once more =p
there will be a whole new UI released for the wallet this weekend that will make it a lot easier to use. so be patient on that, we are working on it. it will also make it possible for us to update OSX agian.
CoinExchange is under maintenance because they are currently upgrading their wallet to v0.2.5.0 so there is no need to worry about that.
and yes, mac is the operating system that is having most of the problems right now. we know. but right now there is no way to update OSX (dev environment got corrupted and appple is doing everything it can to prevent us from fixing it) so that makes it really hard to fix the wallets for them. the new wallet UI this weekend will fix a lot of the issues people are having
I am normally more than happy to help people fix their issues. but most of the issues will be fixable from a button click or two once the new UI is finished. so im just gunna have to ask everyone to sit tight on that for a little bit

Anyone know why all of a sudden, a boatload of ECC that I had confirmed & Available is now listed as "Immature" and "with 1 confirmations, will be available after 50"  What changed? What's going on? EXACTLY the same thing that happened to me. 50 mil changed to immature then, after latest release, disappeared completely leaving .5 coins. I'm sure it's fixable but, thats a lot of money right now and it would hurt to loose it!  Its just your coins generating extra stake. When the stake is added, the WHOLE balance which staked is immature until 50 confirms. Should only take around 1 hour. Great --- so that means a stake is incoming? What I receive back should be more than I started with? Yes. The stake will already be added to your balance. Both the stake, and the amount used to generate it will take 50 confirms to mature. |

hmmm...are you serious with your question? Yes. As he said on his main post "Premine: 500 million coins to original dev (Not me)". I would like to know if the old dev can still access his wallet. And with the pump and dump I mean the old dev dumping all of his coins on the market crashing the price. 1. You can never be sure what happened to the amount mined early. 2. The amount of 500m is relatively modest compared to total supply. 3. Hi, just found this coin, can someone explain to me why the price jumped from 1 sat to 7 sat in the past 4 days? Also the price curve on Coinmarketcap looks weird, seems like the price as been below 1 sat from time to time?
This coin has been around for over 3 years. It is quite well distributed, has good fundamentals , and there are a lot of holders who would be well connected in the crypto world. It has had little attention for some time, but the developer is very competent, and has been working on a number of improvements. There is a new wallet due for release imminent. This is a Proof Of Stake coin, and that is where the speculative attention is now turning, after Privacy-Centric coins had a big run. Also, there are a large number of units at a very low price, which is also now being recognised as a significant positive (have a look at where the prices of Mooncoin, Digibyte etc.. have gone recently). Regarding price, the coin was traded on different exchanges in the past, and quotes in LTC rather than BTC account for the lower price. |

Hi everyone, just a quick status update. I'm sure most of you know that there is scheduled to be a new wallet this weekend and have probably noticed that i failed to mention if it would be released today (saturday) or sunday. I did this on purpose as i wasnt 100% sure how bug testing would go. But so far I haven't found any strange bugs and it looks like everything is running smoothly. I am almost done with testing and will release the wallet after i am finished.
Please note: this is an OPTIONAL upgrade. if you are happy with the version you have you do not need to update. a lot of the changes are GUI based so users run daemons 24/7 probably wont notice much of a difference if any at all.
Thank you everyone for your support so far. After this update is released we are going to turn a lot of attention towards marketing and getting on more exchanges.

Gamecredits needs to update their ANN thread with new graphics and information. It looks cheap, use your budget to hire a good graphic designer please.
This is your opinion. Price and community growth says otherwise. So I say "Scoreboard." For your information I am invested in GameCredits. It's a simple suggestion, so I say "Fuck your scoreboard". Yeah, it was a simple response to your simple suggestion. So F U. Lol. A thread with clean and professional graphics which provide the main facts/information for the project maybe simple...but it's eye candy and fast attraction for potential crypto currency enthusiasts to jump on board and invest. Why am I talking to peasants that probably have 100 game credits as their "long term holding" anyway... Don't need investors like that. Better to keep them away, and your unpleasant comments are doing a great job ! Game is a content driven project. Style will come organically. |

The price was on the floor in Oct 2013, and a massive amount was bought on exchanges. That was probably in anticipation of Bill and Max promoting it.
A lot was dumped to new bagholders.

After a quick search, that's the best I see out there for that socket unless you go to to ebay (which I would recommend.) Personally, I'd just get a newer motherboard + cpu for that kind of money. If there were only 1 million quarks and therefore less holders it would have been far easier for btc38 to make the markets there.
The fact they have 75 million means a lot more holders presumably and harder to market make.
With supply cut off though yes it is easier to drive price up of course.
Its simple if quark is updated as is planned the interest and price will of course rise. It was an abandoned shit coin for 2 years so it crashed from top 5 to out of the top 100.
I wouldnt worry about anything other than if quark is getting new useful and updated tech.

Yes. Only new tech, and a team of developers can improve LT prospects. However, marooned coin supply for various reasons including stagnant blockchain, means price can be manipulated to any degree. This is happening to a number of coins, and some are in the tens of millions of $$ , trapping unwary buyers. On the plus side, Thule is back, and that must mean a rise in price is coming. His points are valid, but price seems to defy them. |
