In case you are in a live-in relation, then the male partner doesn't have the right to call off the relationship. If he does so, then the female partner has the right to file rape charges against him (here in India it is known as "sex on the false promise of marriage", which comes under rape). So although the physical relation is consensual, the partner may be arrested and sent to jail. Only option for him is to remain in the relation and to marry the female. On the other hand, the female partner can call off the relation whenever she likes. The male partner can't file a complaint against this.

Is this even real, to break up with your partner is impossible  . How can you remain in a relation if you do not want to continue and you are not married either to share the half of your wealth and many people consider having a live in partner rather than legally marrying until you are sure about it. It looks really stupid if they blackmail people into getting married even if they do not want.

I understand the rape charges as we are living in a crazy different world than before and i know a common friend of mine who was accused of rape even after having a consensual act and things are really dicy.

Well.. with radical feminists in power, expect more and more biased laws coming up in the future as well. Here in India, there is another option to get out of this mess if you don't want to marry the female. You can go for an out of court settlement. It will cost you almost all of your savings, but at least you don't have to marry someone who is not loyal to you, and the jail term is avoided.

But I expected more gender-neutral laws in Pakistan, when compared to India.

The 89th AGM of the BCCI was conducted three days ago, and there were not many surprises. The board claims that they agree to ICC's attempt to get cricket included for the 2028 Olympics, although they need some clarifications (usual delaying tactics, and I don't expect cricket to be part of Olympics for the next 3-4 decades). There is no decision on conducting the Ranji Trophy (again, delaying tactics so that the championship could be cancelled later, citing lack of time for preparation).

You must understand the game properly before you can bet. It is very important. You cannot predict this game if you do not understand the game properly.  You must first know the rules of ICC. LOL.. this is just ridiculous. Why should someone who doesn't even understand the basic rules of cricket make a bet on any of the matches? Seems like this Crptomagma guy is having too many coins in his wallet and he wants to get rid of them. 

In my gambling career, I have made bets on cricket, football, boxing and basketball. I have refrained from making bets on other sports, simply because I don't have a good understanding of their rules.

If you want to predict exactly you need to follow the team and follow how they are performing every week, in short unless you like the sport you cannot understand anything even if you know the rules.
I started learning about cricket because it looks similar to baseball and the competition level is only high among the top three teams in the international level while the rest of the teams are like fill ups  .

It won't happen very often, and may be you get such chances in 1% or 2% of the matches. Gambling sites have their own methodology to calculate the odds, which may or may not match those of yours. So in case there is a big difference in the odds, you need to analyze the possible outcome and make a bet if the odds look attractive to you.

One example that comes to my mind is the boxing match between Keith Thurman and Manny Pacquiao. Many of the gambling sites provided better odds to Thurman (at least initially). But gamblers made bets in favor of Pacquiao, because they knew that he was a much better boxer.

What are the leagues you are following in Football, i do place bets in Spanish league and then EPL and i do follow the sport closely to make my decision on what bets to make for the games i follow even though i do not wage huge amounts, i do for the thrill of watching the match.

Test cricket may be. But I found T20 cricket very unpredictable. Very often you will see weak teams such as Ireland and Netherlands defeating strong teams such as England in T20 cricket. On the other hand, I have found football more easier to predict. At least when compared to cricket, upsets are very rare in international football (I mostly avoid club matches as far as football is concerned).

Why there is a need to diversify? If you are good in predicting cricket and football matches, then concentrate on them. Even I don't bet on sports events, where I don't have enough knowledge or confidence. And I am not sure whether 2 years is enough. Correctly predicting cricket/football matches takes a long time to master. You will get better at prediction, with more experience.

Thanks for your Suggestions. I think you are right. You should focus more on the thing on which you are more proficient. Be influenced by friends, I occasionally bet on another game, and lost. So I want to gain enough knowledge about other sports as well.

Do you consider gambling as a passive source of revenue, or as a hobby? I am an occasional gambler and I regard gambling as a hobby, which helps to get around the boredom of the "work from home" stuff. So losing a few bucks once in a while doesn't impact me much. Most of the time, I make bets in favor of the teams I support. Sometimes I may win the bet, but the chances are that I will be unlucky most of the times.

Only the luckiest win on such situations.

My opinion is that having enough knowledge about that particular sport is as important as having information on the match in which you are placing a bet. For example, if you don't have enough knowledge about basketball in general and if you are placing a bet on a particular match, then there is a good chance that you are either overestimating or underestimating the chances of your team.

In the latest news, cricket Australia have cancelled the Australian tour of South Africa due to the virus and the concerns about the new virus strain. They offered for South Africa to come play in Australia but they knocked it back which is understandable. I'm sure something could be worked out like we have been seeing with other series going on.

South Africa is going through a very bad phase right now, with increasing number of infections and deaths, so the reluctance from the part of the Australian side to tour that country is perfectly justifiable. The South Africans are not very happy about it, and understandably so. The Australian tour was their chance of getting the finances back on track, and now that is gone as well. They have the option of traveling to Australia, but then the TV rights will stay with CA rather than CSA.

Additional expenses are involved if a team plays most of their matches in neutral venues. In case of UAE, the taxes are not there so the expenses may be low, but even then it will turn out to be a loss making proposition for the hosts. So I understand the reluctance from the part of the South Africans. But the Australians are perfectly justified in their stance. Right now it is not safe to tour South Africa. Yesterday they had almost 4,000 new cases and around 300 deaths from COVID 19. The situation is really bad there and if the Australian players think that the country is not safe to tour, then I can't blame them.
