At some point this guy will be dragged into a court and have to defend himself for his actions. I am surprised that the FBI is not investigating his pool and mining operations for money laundering yet.

lol, you crack me up.

I am suprised...

no need to fact check my opinion is there?

Given the dirt bag did this to me I feel it is fair to speculate wildly about what the FBI might find when they look into his operations. Unlike Josh I have been bonded and can be bonded in Canada, and is likely a matter of public record but I will leave that up to you check out from the OPP database in Toronto.

Talk about frightening.  He couldn't get approved in Canada (I suspect because of his legal problems) and decided to move somewhere with less stringent laws governing people such as himself coming in contact with children.  I believe his wife is listed as the "owner" of the school, which is probably why he was able to pass a background check to get the place started.  For bonus points, check out his video's on Youtube.  Dude is classic coiled spring waiting to go off.

I suspect I am not the only one he has slandered in the forums. Might want to have a longer look at your hero there Goat.

It never ceases to amaze me how many simple facts can add up to the reality of BFL being one if not the most shady company in the bitcoin world. Ethical companies do not behave this way.

Straight question: why did you send me my November 2012 Single order in September 2013, a week after I received a Paypal refund for that item? Brandon admitted he knew it had been refunded and told me to reverse the refund. Just interested. Seems like a strange tactic for a trustworthy company.
3183  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Where are the new Custom Hardware vendors? on: October 26, 2013, 10:01:42 AM
People are finding out it's not as easy to create a brand new product as they would have you believe, that's what's happening.

Some even drag it out unnecessarily long and refuse to give refunds. Amazing right? (Need to get my dig in the guy deserves it)

When you ask where are the new Custom Hardware vendors... do you mean chips and rigs or would those producing units with others chips count?

I think there a plenty of people keen on developing "new" systems but given that the cost of developing a chip is pretty substantial and time consuming has probably put a huge damper on newer vendors because of difficulty rising sharply and the actual demand for miners will taper off if it hasn't already. What doesn't help are companies like BFL and Avalon that have pretty much soured the market and thrown up huge hurdles even for the most well intentioned company but I would say the economics are not there. Look at Black Arrow and their chip rig combo "pre-selling" at the lowest rate $/gh but given their time to market it will likely not be oversold like an Avalon or BFL offering because their really is no guarantees now to earn back your investment.

To be honest there are quite a few people at the margins as well looking to revive the DIY push that BKKCoins, Alten, Burnin all started with their DIY Avalons unfortunately Avalon failed to deliver and that I think has left many questioning the trust of chip fabricators. I suspect that DIY will push through and continue developing units even with exponential difficulty some people are keen on this as a hobby, even though it is an expensive hobby. There are plenty of people willing to keep even pushing the Avalon Gen I Klondikes just get those boards going. If you are looking for newer vendors I don't see where simply designing ASICs is going to be profitable for anyone for the foreseeable future. I suspect several companies will collapse and fail to produce a second or third generation of miner at this stage. Some of these companies really should disappear as they are literally dragging the marketplace down with their ineffectual shipping and refusal to follow fair and reasonable trade practices. With them gone it might put some needed trust back in the community and free up space for better companies in the future.

I would ask you what is wrong with KnC, HashFast, Cointerra, and Black Arrow? Are they not new enough? Different in their offerings? Better at customer services and shipping on time in the case of KnC, are they not?
3184  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: October 26, 2013, 09:34:50 AM
I've been authorized to offer bulk chips by the reel (3000 pcs) for $5/chip.  If you rate the chip at even 2GH/s this is only $2.50/GHs!

As promised to our customers, we will beat this offer and adjust our prices accordingly.

Nice... polite price war... sweet.
3185  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cointerra Mining ASIC coming soon on: October 26, 2013, 09:33:12 AM
Are Cointerra legit?  Do they seem capable of delivering on time?  I don't want to see another BFL fiasco/clusterfu*k.

Haters going to hate (I read that in a BFL thread somewhere)
3186  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL ASIC STATUS 5/29 on: October 26, 2013, 09:23:04 AM
Now they only need to ship in quantity...

1000 shipped just recently... woah wait... did you want quantity in April or October I am confused?
BFL reckon they have shipped over 10,000 units, considering they are only shipping March/April orders still they must have had a lot of orders. I know April was a big order  month because that's when their chips finnaly arrived and they did that youtube video of the first tests.

Laughable.

I reckon they mined with every one of those 10,000 units and shipped them late on purpose to reap the bitcoin and even now they are still 6 months behind. I bet you start seeing a flood of units flying out the door as soon as they become too costly to earn. That is what I reckon happened and it would nice to see the AG in KS take them to task. Fingers crossed BFL gets dragged to court.

They shipped how many units late? All of them were late.
They shipped how many units to spec? All of them were under spec.
They still have to ship how many units? 6 Months worth.
They still have to tape out the Monarch chip? 2 months late already.

Ya I am the one being the troll.

Funny how many people say law suit... Anyone ever actually filed one?

Funny how BFL fails to follow FTC regulations. At some point it won't require a lawsuit.
3190  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Blue Fury Miners V2 2.6Gh/s on: October 26, 2013, 08:25:26 AM
I am pretty confident that Beastly and the boys running the BlueFury's will get the units shipped as fast as humanly possible to the resellers... here is hoping people will have a little more patience while this gets sorted having worked with them before their first concern is making sure they do whatever is required to get them out to you all and if they have said compensation is coming trust me they will get that to you as soon as the shipping is complete. You are dealing with straightforward and honest people and they will rectify this.
3191  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Reliable? on: October 26, 2013, 08:15:43 AM
And... another ~1000 units shipped today.  1/3 of the entirety of KnC's shipment... in one day.

1000 units? Evidence?

Tape out / design for Monarch Chip? Evidence?

Refunds? People are waiting given they have a legal right you should be providing REFUNDS.

Unreliable. Do not buy from BFL.

Seriously I wonder at what point in time does the AG in KS determine what BFL is doing is fraud?

Quote
Fraud is commonly understood as dishonesty calculated for advantage. A person who is dishonest may be called a fraud. In the U.S. legal system, fraud is a specific offense with certain features.

Fraud must be proved by showing that the defendant's actions involved five separate elements: (1) a false statement of a material fact,(2) knowledge on the part of the defendant that the statement is untrue, (3) intent on the part of the defendant to deceive the alleged victim, (4) justifiable reliance by the alleged victim on the statement, and (5) injury to the alleged victim as a result. http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/fraud
3192  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Reliable? on: October 25, 2013, 02:19:44 PM
At least their rigs are reliable, been running for weeks without stop Wink

Reliable?

Interesting is that based on your rig alone or actual stats from those that finally received units nearly a year late?

3193  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: another scam: nitrominer.com? on: October 25, 2013, 08:22:47 AM
Anyone claiming to sell custom ASICs who hasn't posted an announcement in this forum is most definitely a scam!  If they were legit, they would post here so knowledgable people could vet them.  Scammers like this are praying on the ignorant and the ill-informed.

Like BFL and Avalon?
3194  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Reliable? on: October 25, 2013, 08:05:40 AM
So let us see he is proud of the fact he is DELIVERING a product.

Delivering and backlogged 6 months and most if not alll deliveries were late by not days, weeks but multiple months, based on his personal statements about the dates anticipated for delivery, and to a degree that is going to leave many unable to recovery their initial investment.

BFL is definitely not a reliable company. Inaba yet again making statements without EVIDENCE to support it.

1. When will the Monarch chip tape out be completed? (2 months or more late or not at all)
2. How many units have you delivered late based on your promises? (100% of the units were late)
3. Why do you not REFUND people who ask based on FTC requirements? (Lack of integrity)
4. Evidence to support your claims for production? (None)

At this point Inaba has 0 credibility and given what has happened BFL is really at this point the must unreliable company producing and delay shipping miners in this community. Effectively anyone who doesn't know what BFL has failed to provide should be told point blank DO NOT BUY FROM BFL. There are 100's of complaints at this point and that only means that BFL as a company is woefully inept to get that much negative feedback. Just avoid BFL they are unreliable.
3195  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Reliable? on: October 24, 2013, 02:24:08 PM
I asked them for a refund having ordered in March then April like a lot of other people to be told that all back orders would be cleared by August.

Still waiting in October and after asking for a refund the fucktards put my orders on hold then refused to refund me so yeah they're basically scammers as well as lying arsewipes.

Looks like ill have to initiate court action to even get my money back now. How they haven't got a scammer tag yet I'll never know.

Are they based in KS or MO? One has to choose the correct court.

KS.
Okay thanks Smiley

You are most welcome. Good luck filing hope it goes well.

The stench of desperation is getting pretty thick, I agree.

I'll be interested to see how irrational people like Bicknellski get when we start shipping singles this week.  Ouch.

"Cough desperation COUGH!"

6 months behind shipping in October 2013... O U C H!

There is a stench... BFL products dying before they ship.
3198  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Blue Fury Miners V2 2.6Gh/s on: October 24, 2013, 08:54:00 AM
300 units will be shipped out Friday and the following 1500 shipped Tuesday next week.

Just a little photo of units on the production line.

We will announce the compensation after we have completed shipping all the units.

Pretty. Nice work BlueFury!
3199  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: looking to buy a large quantity of blue's on: October 24, 2013, 08:52:44 AM
