Rublev favours this surface but we all know that Djokovic can really adapt at any or even adjust his style in the middle of the game, so really hard to bet on this one, maybe I will try to see the game first if I have the time and just do some live betting.

I agree, it really starts from Rublev, serve and volley, if he can maintain serve in the beginning and pushing Djokovic baseline and make unforced error then he has a good chance specially if he takes the first set with ease.

So first set should be very critical for Rublev here. I'm seeing Rublev might be winning 6-4 first set or over 9.5 @1.95 total games.

Everything can happen in tennis so there is no such thing as free money, but there is quite some value in your bets; especially the first 2 bets. I don't think Rublev will be able to win against Djokovic but he should be able to win atleast 1 set.

I'm just watching a doubles match waiting for Sinner v Hurkacz.  Pity for Matteo
to pull out but it was kind of expected, pressure on now on Sinner.

Doubles passed as expected with win for Dodig/Polasek, they were better troughout the whole match. Now I am gonna reinvest my tennis part of my tennis winnings on Hurkacz. Hopefully he will get first set for free while Sinner gets used to conditions. Sportsbet has him @2.10 and one set @1.45. I hope Sinner is not prepared for this but somehow I doubt it. It is his home tournament and it was expected that Berettini will not be able to compete.

To bad Pavic/Mektic did not play better, would be even more money in the bank

Edit: what a loss of money. I am usually not bitching when I loose the bet but this performance from Hurkazcs was simply terrible. Without any fire and ideas. He played just to keep the ball in play and still made a ton of errors.

What a super win by Sinner and a terrible performance by Hurkacz, he really play
within himself while Sinner was really up for it with the audience with him.
I didnt bet on that game, I thought it was going to be Hurkacz to win but
wasnt sure.


Djokovic v Rublev, I think I will put a small bet on Rublev to win and one to win
one set at least. He really does need to bring the A+ game today.

Norrie vs Ruud. It should be an easy win for Ruud. There's nothing special that Norrie does with his game. Just puts the ball in play and serve well. Ruud does that and is a better all round player with higher caliber.
Ruud has already beaten Norrie this month with the scoreline of 6-0, 6-2 in San Diego. I don't expect a repeat of that scoreline but I do expect Ruud to wrap up the match in straight sets. Great odds provided at the moment. Pounce on it while you can. Good Luck all.

This was their first meeting and Rublev did not believe. I expected that it will be tougher for Djokovic to adapt to Rublev game but I did not hear about Rublev interview before the match. He said that he will be lucky if gets few games in the match against the best player ever. You can't get out on the pitch with that attitude against Djokovic. What is worse Djokovic played well bellow his maximum, he did not need anything more against Rublev who was making unforced errors all the time.

I think you are right in regards to Ruud winning this match but Norrie is in the top
20 on merit, he is a decent player and has had good results this year, I wouldnt
be that negative to him.

Not even close, not sure if he is motivated, but it seems that Djokovic finds hi rhythm early and dictated everything from the beginning and no allowing Rublev to settle and have his game here.

And the unforced errors, just too many and Djokovic is capitalising on it. And after the interview, Rublev admits that he is rushing and overthinking during the Djokovic match, talk about the psychological war that this players are going before and during the match.

Today Zverev vs Hurkacz, Zverev has to win if he wants to be in the semi-finals, so it looks like he will really fight from the start, looking at Hurkacz's performance against Sinner it seems he is the weakest in this group and I choose under in his match against Zverev and also under on Medvedev vs Sinner.

I agree, it seems that the pressure will be on Zrevev to win.

But he will be facing the weakest amongst the player here so he has a high chance to take this and advance. Nothing against Hurkacz, but he might be overwhelmed in this tournament that's why his performance is questionable.

Under 22.5 total is very attractive bet here.

Yes, I know, I was totally wrong with my analysis, I thought the game will be extended to 3 sets as usually Djokovic starts very slow regardless on who he is facing. And I think the Rublev is really good at this fast surface, but he really looks nervous in this game.

Maybe it's time to recover from that lost and look for the Zverev vs Hurkacz, or Medvedev vs Sinner.

I would say that Medvedev vs Sinner will be a close one, and I will go Over on this.

based on Sinner's performance against Hurkacz last time out. I cannot call the winner
of this one and I dont know which of my 2 favourite players I want to win.

Last nights game between Norrie and Ruud was a 3 setter, Norrie comprehensively
winning the first set (which I saw) but Ruud recvovered to win the following 2.


In the womens WTA Final (which I havent been following) Muguruza beat Kontaveit in 2 sets.
This is massive for her, she has had very mixed results in the last number of years,
are we seeing some sort of comeback?

For me, this is also a big surprise because she has not been anywhere for a long time, and we have already forgotten about this tennis player.

She has been in a major crisis but is apparently slowly returning to the top of tennis.
I loved watching her before as a tennis player and I am glad that she is back and that we are watching her again in the finals of the biggest tennis tournaments.
In women's tennis, after Serena dropped out of the top due to age, we no longer have a champion who would be dominant, like the big three in men's tennis.
We have a new winner in almost every women's tournament and I think that's why women's tennis has become quite interesting lately.

Medvedev is the closest challenger, and will sometimes have a chance... but no-one else really has any chance at all, if Djokovic turns up fully motivated and in the right frame of mind.

For instance Granolles/Zabalos did not need a win this morning and they are already 1:0 down. My money will probably go on Zverev to win 2:0 later on, since Hurkacz was terrible against Sinner and maybe on Dodig/Polasek to create an upset against Mektic/Pavic. Odds are very good @2.7 and this match is 50:50 for me.

Well in the last day of the group stage things in singles are going as expected. Zverev won easily 2-0 against Hurkacz and in that group everything is finished. But in doubles Granollers/Zaballos lost unexpectedly in the tie break in the third set.I think Metkic/Pavic must win this match they are also world number #1.
