Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Guys, if you have problems with XVG pools, try ours :

-dcoin blake2s -dpool stratum+tcp://mining.oxo.rs:4444 -dwal <WALLET_ADDRESS> -dpsw c=XVG

lots of disconnections and orphan blocks on nlpool.nl

i think devs should atleast get a little fee for awhile in order to upgrade service.

they have stooped communicated, maybe they have to say something, like if they plan to resolve this soon or not, i passed there all my rigs but i am thinking to go to other pools, more disconnected than connecting

antminepool seems perfect so far. I'm getting within 5% of the calculator, even after 11/127 orphan blocks for the last 24h.
nlpool has 12/37 (32%) orphans for the last 24h. I don't know what's wrong with that pool, but it is not normal.

antminepool is not better at all. Connects only random, lots and lots of disconnects... can't be used.

maybe the lots of disconnections and high latency causes orphan blocks on nlpool

edit:

i also observed, instability in blake2s or any dual algo's connection, affects eth efficiency. i hope claymore would look into that as well.

It's time, boys and girls, to box up your graphics cards and put them up for sale before the mad rush as Ethereum (and all Ethash coin) GPU mining is about to come to an end.

"Ethereum ASIC chips will enter mass production stage in February 2018 by TSMC’s 28nm process. The F3 miner is expected to hit the market in Q2 or Q3 2018."
http://news.8btc.com/bitmain-to-release-ethereum-asic-miner-f3-with-72gb-ddr3-dram-in-q2

Reddit chatter saying that it will be roughly the same as building a rig, so 180MH/s for about $2500.  That's what the performance of this asic will be.

That's what I was thinking, if it's going to cost just as much to buy one of these F3 miners as it is to build a rig then there is not need to worry.
In fact a GPU rig is better as you can at least sell, or reuse, all the bits once you've finished with it.

verge pool status report:

unimining -> 24 hour mining -> 65 verge ( i was supposed to get around 180 at that day) stealing alot.
nlpool  -> 24 hour mining -> 195 verge ( it was nice at the beginning but i think now it cant handle the amount of users probably bad server and alot of orphans lately, disconnecting alot so i went test antminepool now)
antminepool -> testing now.
unimining is the worst I thought maybe my earnings where low do to the increase in difficulty so I tried shieldcoin for almost 2 days still only earned half of was I should of either there's something messed up on there end or they are skimming a lot

Well im only mining half of time in nlpool due to disconection times, hope you fix it soon, we really need a decent xvg pool.

Also statistics from miners looks a bit f***ed

Once the miner connects - it doesn't disconnect. My connection is steady for days now.

mine_phun, is it normal to get xvg listed when I am mining xsh?  Does this get converted to xsh later?  http://nlpool.nl/?address=SN98vLjgsmz1T2cM6d8VqdAmKeQqkhpbUF

@mine_phun

i thought setting c=XVG mines xvg only, but i noticed recently, its also mining XSH. maybe c=? just sets payment preference. this affects xvg earnings in my opinion. how can i mine xvg only on nlpool.nl?

same with me. the connection is stable now but i think he broke the config and now we cant mine specific coin such as xvg.
