hi, what is the best miner for 1080 TI's for ETH right now, is it again Phoenix, and what are your ideal memory strap settings ?..

Also is ETHlargement pill uniformly recommended for all setups to improve performance ?.. I had switched to mining other coins for a while, so I would appreciate the latest cutting edge configurations specifically for 1080 ti's ...

Thanks in advance

Dear Claymore,
1. Do you plan to do something with the problem when AMD cards with 8GB cannot load the 379th dag file?
2. Do you plan to do something with the problem when amd cards with 4gb gets 0 mega-cache from 350 to 378 dag files?

Do you have any developments on these issues?

W10 use for the OS 600mb of GPU memory cannot be solved, it is a ''feature'' of windows 10

This does sound like a virtual memory problem.

It's a simple enough procedure, but if you need help configuring your VM in Windows, I recently updated my guide here: https://www.cryptoyeti.com/cannot-write-buffer-for-dag-error/

All GTX 1070 cards after changing the Eth era to 315 began to issue 23 MH instead of 32 MN, another miner gave out 31 MH. What is the reason?

Its not a virtual memory problem. Windows 10 has some system resources or cache that it uploads to the GDDR whenever windows starts and along with the large DAG, it exceeds the physical memory requirements on the GPU, its not the virtual memory.

There are 3 solutions to this

1) Put a 8GB video card in the main PCIe slot of the motherboard, its usually the one that is PCIe 3.0 x16, usually label PCIe slot 0. You can put the 4GB in the other slot and it should work.

2) Use Windows 7, however there is a max of 4 GPUs limit and no more security updates.

3) Use Linux. There is some learning curve to this. My biggest issue was correctly installing the display drivers.

Exactly, i have the same problem ... nothing helped, changing virtual memory, power limit, clocks, bios straps...

Not sure what you mean. I have a rig with nothing but 1070 Founders Editions (8 of them) and I'm looking at a minimum of 252MH/s. That's an average of 31.5MH/s each.
My clocks are:
Memory: +675
Core +150
Core 925mv
PL 100%
Fan speed 75%
Temp limit 80C

Temperatures range from 63C to 74C

Nvidia drivers 441.66
Windows 10 Pro with 16gb on onboard memory and 56gb of virtual ram.

I am using PhoenixMiner 4.9c though. Not sure if that's making any difference.

it is the hash that falls on Claymore, switched to the miner Ethnminer hash 31MH

Another reason to bail on Claymore I guess.

The problem is this. Windows 7, 4Gb, 30GB swap, 5 GTX 1070 Palit super cards. Nvidia drivers are the latest. MSI Afterburner is the last. For 2 years everything worked well 32MH from the card. After changing the ETH era to 315, all cards began to show 23MH. In one rig there are 2 RX 580 and 3 GTX 1070, a 580 hash rate drop was not noticed 32MH remained, and 1070 23MH. 1660Ti is also no problem 30MH. 1060 6gb hash drop from 25MH to 22MH. Something happened at Claymore with a series of 10 Nvidia. I switched to ETHMiner 0.18.0, 1070 show 31MH. What is the problem?

What version of Claymore's miner are you using? You should be on 15 and that won't be an issue. None of my 1070s are running lower than 29MH/s. Using Claymore version 15.
