Yes, this is exchange who decides what to list and how to list. Tonych has nothing to do with this.
most exchanges will only take coin listings seriously if they're applied for by the core development team. same goes for changes i'm sure. otherwise the whole scene would be an appalling mess with scammers and assholes messing with every coin they can get their hands on.

With IOTA and RAIblocks seeing a surge in price recently, I think their more mature bigger brother should make investors happy, too;)
yup, among IOTA and GBYTE, I choose GBYTE.

Can anyone do me a favor to tell when will be the next round distribution? When will the GBYTE finish the distribution? Any plan?

Maybe do yourself a favour and check the homepage... where the next distribution date is listed: https://byteball.org/#distYes... it really is not until March 2018 please take note of the follow: The 11th round is tentatively scheduled for the full moon of March (Mar 2, 2018 at 00:51 UTC). The balances will be snapshotted at the time of the first Bitcoin block after this date, and rules for this round are as indicated above. Depending on the progress of other distribution methods, this round can be postponed or even canceled.

That's a long time to wait! Why? We had one distribution per one month before.

also when are we changing to megabytes or even bytes on exchanges as the unit? or is this not happening?
Whom are you asking here? Go and ask exchanges if they are going to change units or not. The dev team decides the units not the exchange I believe. You believe in wrong The exchange does not decide to just call it gbytes. If we want it changed to mbytes then under the current model only tonych himself can request the change.
Yes, this is exchange who decides what to list and how to list. Tonych has nothing to do with this. I still have to beg to differ sadly. If tony wanted it called mbytes it would be called mbytes and instruct 3 decimal places added up front to it now. Of course if the exchange said no then you could have a point. Usually the exchanges will do as tony asks for a price. Without him asking it will not be done. I don't expect just any one can instruct them to change ticker and decimal places. I also doubt any exchange would just take it upon themselves to do this.

That's a long time to wait! Why? We had one distribution per one month before. Yep but sadly we can't afford that now unless those other big icos return the byteballs to tony to give out to those who bought bb under than premise. Anyway it was just creating expected dumps each time. Still i don't think anyone should change the rules or implied rules that induced people to invest. I say tony ch locks down 50% of what is left into a multi sig dev fund not just controlled by one person with full ledger then gives the rest out to byteball loyal holders minus those of exchanges and the other ico wallets who had their noses in the trough enough already. Tear the band aid off already and give investors confidence that no one person could press the total self destruct button at any time. I guess perhaps spread the witnesses out a bit perhaps even creating a few more Reduce the units to mega bytes for all the noobs who love snapping up the cheap deals. Let's get someone who knows how to network and sniff around influential people and large companies. Let's push out a small referal scheme for signinig up the mom and pop veggie stores (grass roots of course are needed so no disrespect to small businesses obviously but investors get into a frenzy over sony microsoft so give them what they want) etc so tony just gets on with coding out the bb core feature set. It's strange because 2 of the best projects on this board have such tech skilled super devs who seem to be unable to see how to play the crypto game here and keep getting shafted by inferior projects. Good for accumulating more cheap I know but sometimes you just need the word out that this is a real competitor in the arena we are in.

We had one distribution dump per one month before.
There, fixed that for you... The change was put in, as Airdrops were not achieving the goal of getting Bytes "spread as widely as possible"... it was simply giving bytes to the same people over and over... As Tony previously explained here: An update about future distribution plans.
So far, bytes were mainly distributed via airdrops to holders of BTC and Bytes, and a relatively small portion was distributed through the cashback program. We started this free distribution with the purpose of getting the currency as wide spread as possible, and while the purpose stays the same, methods can change. The airdrop method worked well to get the initial user base, but it also proved to be the least efficient in terms of user acquisition cost.
Over the next few months, we'll add more methods of free distribution. One of them is already being developed, I expect it to be ready in the first half of December.
The new methods are designed to grow our user base faster than the money supply.
While the new methods are still untested, it is early to drop the airdrops. That's why the next round of distribution to Bytes and BTC holders is tentatively planned for the full moon of March 2, 2018. The rules are the same as in the previous round:
For every 16 BTC you receive 0.1 GB, For every 1 GB you receive additional 0.1 GB,
and similar rules for blackbytes.
This round can be postponed or even canceled depending on performance of other distribution methods.

I saw an add in reddit like this ( Tired if IOTA hype? Check out byteball, the under-the-radar DAG crypto with better tech that’s fifty times cheaper) it sounds for me you taking it personal with IOTA and you doing more favours to IOTA than Byteball with that add,you should just mention the positive sides of byteball without the need of mentioning IOTA there and it’s not fifty times cheaper unless it’s officially changed to MBs people will take the price in GBs as in the exchanges for now.

According to my understanding from watching a Tony interview there will be more mass distributions once he feels confident the network can handle it.
How many people here have worked on chat bots? I just started looking at the API. I think I have a simple but effective use case for integrating coin use in real life through person to person word of mouth but it would require someone to make a bot that is akin to localbitcoins. Doesnt seem difficult, just a database where people store their town, zip, area code.

Perhaps you could make an announcement on slack and/or reddit channels to find some help ?

Eventually the market will wake up to the potential of Byteball. Until then, I'm happy I can still pick them up so cheap.

I was little bit away but holding all my Gbytes continuously. Th number of increasing merchant is best thing happening along with the addition of chat bots. That day will be again when it will be among first top markets again by reaching to value which it deserves really.

Your total supply is very small, but I still do not know exactly what your project is doing. Can you describe the details?

I'm forwarding this to the chief developer. In the meantime, could you please try this service: https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/I've used it several times now and it worked well. It's very popular, so you'll probably need several attempts to get in the queue.
