Plan to make BYTEBALL top 10 on coinmarketcap and speed up adoption:
1. Burn remaining supply. 2. Change denomination on Bittrex.
Anyway awesome project.
Why would you burn remaining supply instead to use these coin in usefull way, moreover if you use remaining supply to make a promotion, byteball would 4th at least

If you want to increase adoption, please get in contact with Cryptopia and tell them how to fix their wallet issues. Withdrawals disabled for over a month now... Here's what one of the mods on discord channel told me: Yes, it's not only that as now trading has been disabled also now. Hopefully they will not drag this out until the distribution starts up.

Who understands the purses, explain to me (I can not understand this thrash): 1. Is there really still no Web-purse? 2. I downloaded the wallet for PC. Why does not it require a password or seed? How does he recognize me if I want to go from another PC? 3. Given point 2: how do I restore my wallet, if the PC crashes? (The wallet does not identify me at all, does not ask for a password or seed)
1) No there is no Webwallet 2) + 3) In the left under "Settings" you can find a option to set a password and to backup your seed ( or better a full backup which restores your Blackbytes too).

Does the transition bot also work with BTC Segwit addresses? I want to claim Byteballs with the new Segwit adresses. Does anybody know that?
we can't, i'm in same situation its too bad for a coin who want to be distributed free excluding a lot people because of that instead arguing for the name, it will better to find a way to fix this Byteball isn't excluding anybody. In order to verify your adress you have to sign a message, but SegWit has no standard to sign a message.

which is the best way to switch from a full node wallet to a light one - without losing old addresses of course?
If you only have public assets (bytes for instance) then the seed is enough. Save it, uninstall your full wallet, install a light wallet and restore using the seed. You'll get your addresses with their public assets' balances. If you have private assets (blackbytes for instance) then you'll have to wait for your full wallet to sync, install a(n intermediary) light wallet elsewhere (a different user will do if you want to stay on the same machine) and transfer your blackbytes then your bytes to it. If you want your old addresses back, then after emptying your full wallet, uninstall it, install a light one and recover from the seed. You'll then have to send your assets from your intermediary light wallet to your newly installed light wallet (always leave sending the bytes at the end, because you'll need them for fees to send everything else).

But I think it would be than smarter to buy Bytes directly with the fees you would have paid for the registration :-D

Can anybody point me in the direction of an article which explains how the 12 witnesses work and why it is not a problem when compared to the problematic coordinator of IOTA.
Also, what is the number of transactions per second that Byteball is limited to?
I own and both bytes and blackbytes

This might help: https://medium.com/@Suirelav/introduction-to-byteball-part-2-the-dag-ce84ca4c4e01From what I heard in Slack: theoretically there is no limit. At the moment though it's apparently ~30tps. Also heard: hasn't been optimised since release because it wasn't necessary yet.

I have read time ago that the wallet is now supporting the possibility to broadcast names also for user issued assets, but that a system of name registry had still to be developed for that. Any news on the state of developement of this issue?

I purchased only 0,35 GByte a month ago for testing purposes in exchanges . I have them in Bittrex. Because Byteballs raised about 120% ( pair GBYTES/BTC) from early December do you think is it a good time to buy more GBYTE taking in mind the next airdrop of March ? What should I do for having my GBYTE in my PC for participation in airdrop, I must download the wallet from their official site ( https://byteball.org/) or something else?

The actual quote is nothing exciting: Byteball is another crypto network that uses a directed acyclic graph in lieu of a blockchain
But Byteball is indeed mentioned (including a link).

Discovered this coin today, and there's some really interesting potential here. Will follow for a while to get to know more and to see how it develops. Also found that there was an 11% completed translated (poor google translation) version of the site in Danish, so I took the time to get it done properly, though cryptocurrency lingo is actually quite tricky to translate from English. Most terms would be the same english words when used in Danish context.
Anyways, good to be here and I'm looking forward to see how it progresses.
Cheers Punqtured

So First I must download the wallet from https://byteball.org and then make all the other stuff (talking to bot etc)
