The Calculation is simple,

Now is diff 1.2 bilion, for next 10 days will be +33% and and so forth,

1.3 bilion +33%, = diff 1.596 for 10 days, next 10 days 1.596 bilion + 33% = diff 2.12 bilion,
next 10 days diff 2.12 +33% = diff 2.82 bilion and and so forth.

Though his exact difficulty estimate isn't what I would hold to, the difficulty is going to kill most at-home miners in 2014 if things continue.

Ultimately for bitcoin to remain useful beyond 2014, it will rely on industrial-scale mining efforts.

it is not possible to have a growth rate of 30 percent each step because it is for example 100, 130, 169, 219.7, 285.61, etc. you need enough ASIC devices for this growth rate. you see?

Today diff 1.2 billion for next 6 monthy +75000% , it is diff 900 billion,
and for following 6 month in 2014 year,
again +75000%, 900 billion + 75000% = diff 675900 billion or 675.9 trilion !!!

This is only for the following 12 months !
