About six weeks ago there were a few people here dissing Slush and the pool. I ran an experiment and moved half of my hashing to BTC Guild. Almost exactly the same payout from both. Moving all back to Slush today.

I do have a small concern though, my payout on one block was 0. Where did you all say support questions should be posted for the pool, his Facebook account or something?

21760   2014-03-03 19:13:24   12:57:32   9099362387   78309   0.00000000   288773   25.12601933    confirmed

+1

+2
Support email answered in a few hours. I was offline for a period of time. I looked at my server and UPS logs and found I lost power for a few hours that I was not aware of.

But gee, I dunno about "Slush ripping us off" like all the whiners a month ago were saying. During my experiment when I reached the 0.01 payout on BTC Guild I was only at 0.0096 here on Slush. They knew best, for sure... ;->

Thanks for the reply yo...

I am looking for the backup server info now, if there is said info?

It was up for a minute just now but the error popped again...

Seems to be up and stable again for me - I restarted everything as well.

Fine here in the NYC area. My miners will reboot every 180 seconds if it doesn't have work to do and uptime on it is a couple of weeks.

10 minutes before that last round ended I lost a 18Gh miner (USB block eruptors on 49 port hub) of 150Gh But my reward dropped dramatically, is this the normal anti pool hopping function?

It seems Slush has lowered the constant - it used to drop much more than that before (or it was less than 10 min drop for you).

It very well may have been less then 10 minuets, loosing 70% of my reward for a 15% drop in hash power just before round ends doesn't seem right. Undecided

I got it wrong then. I thought you lost 100% of hashrate.
It's probably still normal and the higher drop is caused from the vardiff too, not only from the score function

I actually had a 21% higher reward for Slush block #21778 than my proportional share.  Looks like there was some 'hiccup' in the pool, which "kicked" those with diminished connections (see recent posts on connection problems to Slush).  Those who were less impacted had a sudden/unjustified boost.

Cheers

Yea, I usually end up with the shit end of the stick...

I'm connecting to http://api.bitcoin.cz:8332 and have been trouble free usualy, I seem to remember something about me needing to change that awhile back. Should it be 3333?
