An acknowledgement somewhere of the issues by slush would at least keep the villagers from storming the castle with trouble tickets. I've checked here, tickets, Facebook and the site and there's not a peep.

I have submitted two tickets and see no merit in flooding the inbox with more. One for the general issues of the "glitch in backend data base" and another regarding particular block payout discrepencies that seems to become further exacerbated with the passing of time.
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Scam-Busting PSA: Beware of Black Arrow Software

I've been out of the game for the past 2 weeks since i sold my ASIC blades and my Antminers finally came in...

I see that the pool has shrunk... whats up with that?

Also has the "pool luck" calculation changed? Its showing 225% right now, yet the past 3-4 blocks were all over 4-5 hours each.

I can't speak for anyone else, and I'm only a drop in the pool, but I've recently redirected my hashing to P2Pool, via P2Pool.io (there's only three miners active on this node at the moment). I'm tempted to run my own p2pool node but I wanted to try it out first. To be honest I have itchy feet, I'm used to regular payouts from Slush, and the p2p payouts have been much smaller with longer gaps so far, I know this should average out though. I do prefer the concept of p2p, but Slush is more like the warm, reassuring blanket of home.

I have had bad experiences with those pools before, but with Doge coin. I've noticed that there sometimes are address listed in the payout section, but not in the mining section. Usually they get the most, yet never mine. Too many people trying to skim off the top and scam people.

EDIT:  I just checked out http://p2pool.io/  How are there payouts already if there are no solved blocks yet?
Without wanting to de-rail the original topic too much, I've had 2x payouts on the 16th and 1x on the 17th, I presumed blocks were solved on those dates. Granted the payouts were 1/10th of what I'd have got from Slush. I haven't noticed any strange address, but I haven't looked, I will do. I know P2Pool has a default 0.5% donation to the software author (not pool op), which seems a bit high for my personal taste considering the current value, this is configurable to zero though.

#286444 first showing about 1/20th of a normal reward, then seconds later : no shares, and no rewards......   Huh
I think everything will be fixed, the other blocks are rewarded to. We might give slush more time...

#286444 seems fixed

I don't know where else to post this for Slush's Pool....but I mention the pool in a song about mining.

You can stop reading unless you like poor quality songs with poor quality singing and poor quality production.

Thought I'd do this for a laugh and also to try and get some decimals sent to me.

Some issues resolved on the payout side. 10 round hash rate is incorrect. Reward appears to have dropped with factoring in entire pool hash rate which I suspect has something to do with the low 10 round average rate I'm showing.

286444 is still fucked.
The block is confirmed, but the reward still showing as unconfirmed in my account.
Sucks for me, because this is the last block I need to be confirmed to get a .01 payout.

Still no movement on block 286444 for me.

If anyone with any influence is reading this... please fix this block so I can get my payout and leave this shit-show of a pool for good.

This place went downhill in a damn hurry.
