Slush pool down for anyone else? stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 (running a single Cube on a proxy) Thanks! Hi guys,, my miner is still saying slush's is down,, is it down for anyone else? "stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333" (running avy 200) Using "stratum+tcp://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333" here (this is what http://support.bitcoin.cz/Knowledgebase/List recommends). My miners did not experience any recent connectivity problems. Using a few instances of bfgminer and cgminer. Cheers

"stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333" (running avy 200) I've been up and running not too long after my last post here. Still having issues? I noticed my Cube was stopping/starting at random periods of time instead of the designated time in my miner software. Not sure if my software or the pool is to blame.

Hi guys, I own 2 Jalapeños (for a total of 15 GHs) and I started mining on January the 8th. During the first week, the Butterfly Labs app showed that my potential earnings were of about 150 USD/month. Since then, the exchange rate for BTC dropped a lot, so I find it normal that the presumed earnings dropped as well. However, currently the forecasted earnings are of about 6 USD/month, which, needles to say, aren’t quite economically viable when taking into account the electric bill. So, is this about the exchange rate dropping and the difficulty of mining increasing? Or am I doing something wrong? My earnings at this point are 0.16271051 BTC. So, recuperating the almost 700 USD investment is, at best, a fairytale. If someone can clarify this for me, I would be much obliged. Thanks.

About six weeks ago there were a few people here dissing Slush and the pool. I ran an experiment and moved half of my hashing to BTC Guild. Almost exactly the same payout from both. Moving all back to Slush today.
I do have a small concern though, my payout on one block was 0. Where did you all say support questions should be posted for the pool, his Facebook account or something?
21760 2014-03-03 19:13:24 12:57:32 9099362387 78309 0.00000000 288773 25.12601933 confirmed
+1 +2 Support email answered in a few hours. I was offline for a period of time. I looked at my server and UPS logs and found I lost power for a few hours that I was not aware of. But gee, I dunno about "Slush ripping us off" like all the whiners a month ago were saying. During my experiment when I reached the 0.01 payout on BTC Guild I was only at 0.0096 here on Slush. They knew best, for sure... ;-> First, you should probably have had a look at your logs and not send any support e-mail. When you haven't done so, you could at least have read the answer here in the forum that had answered your question thoroughly, and you would have no need to send any support request. But if you would have done the best thing yourself, i.e. look at the logs, there would be no need to post any question in this forum on the topic that had been answered many, many times, and make the members read it again and again...

Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

Can the pool break the 900TH barrier and still have the luck Hashrate should not affect luck either way. And if we pass the 900TH mark keep in mind that luck should even out and THERE IS NO relation between our luck and the pool hashrate, no matter if it remains over or fails below 100%

Theoretically what payout would I currently have joining the pool with a 1THash miner? Plus: Some educated guesses on how much it would decline over period of time x?
Thank you in advance

Reward per share = block reward / difficulty So reward per Thps = block reward / difficulty / 2^32 * 1e12 For one day and current difficulty and pool fee = 2% 25 / 3815723798.8146 / 2^32 * 1e12 * 86400 * 0.98 = 0.1291645 btc per day Plus: Some educated guesses on how much it would decline over period of time x?
For the near future, your earnings will probably decline exponentially, at a rate of about 20% per retarget.

[edit2] and as if by magic the monthly luck just went from 0.98 to 1.00 - as though slush were watching - so your daily rate jumps to a whopping 0.1318 [edit3] and the question should really be rephrased as "Organofcorti - what pool do you point your miners at?".

Scryptguild and clevermining. I can just about scrape a profit using multicoin mining, but making a profit mining Bitcoin is just too touch and go.
