Since the recent brief site downtime for maintenance, I see that the average hash rate is now calculated over the last 60 minutes rather than the last ten rounds.  This is a good change, giving far more useful information.

Slush just put up a post on the Facebook page showing what is coming soon. Great info.

AM I reading the stats correctly that we've found 15 blocks in the last two days?!!

I expect the Slush haters will show up shortly claiming that it's a conspiracy, that Slush is holding onto blocks and waiting for small populations in order to get more money for himself.  Or something.

Pool numbers are looking strange.  My 600G was estimated around .01...... And it's presently around .0005.  What happened?

I'm experiencing the same issue although a block hasn't been solved to see if it's reflected in an actual award. Slush doesn't monitor the thread so it may be trouble ticket time.

Edit Trouble ticket sent to slush support.

Mine looks accurate too. Good all around.

Did anyone notice the increase in hashing power in the last day? It's currently at 1484738.175 Ghash/s and was hovering around 143/144.

Do miners see the upward trend we had the last two days then rush-in? Or is that pretty consistent with the normal hash increases?

I'm obviously new to this and just picking-up on it, but it seemed like a bigger jump in a day or so than usual.

Thanks, TDM

You may not have seen it, but it isn't the first time luck for Slush (or any pool) has had a swing like that in a short period.

I am brand new to mining entirely (hi) and just added about 1TH/s, so some of that bump is me. I didn't go slush because of their output, just from a friend's recommendation.

Generally average output is better than on other more marketed  servers.
One thing I like about it (apart from nothing hidden part) is that slush is
configuring the pool to work to the optimum and using all your resources.

If there was no pool like this somebody should make one  Grin

I can only make an assumption that mining site and pool don't just build and
protect themselves on off-the-shelf parts so all work is done by Slush.

Almost bought 2 x 2 Gh/s Antminer today but the price here is still way off so I
have no choice but to wait for things to settle down.  Angry

Hello All

New here thought I would say hi,  currently mining on Slush's pool at 1.15TH/s have another 440GH/s arriving today/tomorrow and another 1TH/s arriving around the 10th May.

Looking to build an enormous rig... 50-100TH/s within the next 12 months..  if I can find a decent place to store them all...

Happy days.

Thanks

Not sure if it is just me but my numbers on the pool are as consistent and rock steady as can be (plus or minus 5%) for every round. And they have been that way consistently. Not sure why others are experiencing slow downs or low rewards.

Any one care to speculate why I am so stable and others see these wild fluctuations in their numbers?

I usually always have stable numbers, been here for 3 years. There was a glitch yesterday but everything is sorted as it always is.

I'm running a total of 7 Antminers (mix of U1s and U2s) under BFGMiner. The software reports over 10Gh/s in the 5s decaying stat, no hardware errors, and a very low reject rate. THe pool only shows me at 7.7Gh/s. Can someone give me some possible explanations for the difference?

Thanks!
