The pool password can be anything now. That's why the x is where the password used to be. As long as your worker name is correct, you can put anything as the password and it will work.

Blockchain working normally for me.
Only the difficulty graph at https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty is not being updated for the last couple of hours.

Looks like the graphs are not showing the correct values for the last days (by counting the stats). Anyone else experiencing the same?

My Blockchain wallet is saying that my BTC is worth -$0.16. Something has gone wrong.

Was a bunch of sell offs today, it had gotten down to 338 but seems to be holding around 350 lately. Biggest question is "how low will it go" ?

The amount listed on blockchain has been wrong for all of my accounts for months now.

Also, the estimate of your hash on Slush can vary wildly depending on a bunch of factors, from internet traffic, to people pool hopping, etc. etc. mine is usually about 90% of what my local console shows the iners running at but at times it climbs to as much as 120% (i.e. my 1.2TH machine will show as 1.3TH). Just like blocks and luck this too evens out in the long run Smiley

What software are you using?  Could be possible to do in the firmware or possibly on the workers page in Slush's Pool Settings

The pool sets the difficulty.  The facility to set it manually on the workers page was removed a good while ago when the auto setting was implemented.  Why would you wish to set it higher, other than to reduce your bandwidth?

I've been involved in BTC almost since its beginning and can make a somewhat educated guess that 1 BTC will trade at less than $100 in about two months time. The speculation bubble has burst and everyone is selling. And also companies like Coinbase are making great strides in getting people to actually use BTC as currency which also applies downward pressure on value. Even the next diff jump has the possibility of being a negative move as the large mining centers appear to be scaling back growth or even shutting down some miners.

But do you Think it Will go back up..?

Long time lurker first time posting-

I think this is the big question everyone is asking.  Not sure if it will but several articles  I read yesterday say it hasn't hit it's floor yet but will bounce back after that.  How high it will bounce, who knows.

^ I think in February it was down below $200 and then went to $480 for a month, then $530, $600, $680. Last year I bought big at $145 and it dropped to $45, I panicked and sold and then was crying when it hit $1300. There's no telling, bitcoin is still very young and until it gets officially pinned to something like 1 satoshi = 1 yen(or 1 satoshi = $0.01) it will fluctuate. Bitcoin is a plan and we are almost at the middle stage, but it's still young and too early to speculate. I would guestimate slowly rise to $580 and simmer there for awhile. But, things can always happen good and bad. Just don't keep all your eggs in one basket and you will be alright.

Note: understand a lot of things are down now. As Bitcoin gets more popular and we are now a world currency, outside factors effect bitcoin other than miners and people selling. The US artificial inflated the dollar last month. That always results in stocks, gold and silver going down. China is suppressing their students and citizens with violence right now. The general public sees all the news hacking of banks, stores and tech companies and they think of bitcoin are electronic transactions that are as vulnerable like those because they don't know any better. There is a lot going on right now that's effect the price.

Stock market down 5% this year @forbes
http://www.forbes.com/sites/rafaelresendes/2014/02/11/the-stock-market-is-down-5-for-the-year-what-should-you-do/

Gold could go as low as $700 @cnbc
http://www.cnbc.com/id/101838571

Note: The FUD will be the same as always while the price is going down. It goes down, it goes up. Bitcoin is a world currency, not like an altCoin that lives only on these forums and exchanges. Bitcoin will survive by design.

Actually I have shut them down, margins so slim right now it isn't worth it, at least to me.

If BTC goes back to a reasonable level I'll turn them back on.

I'm buying Silver and Gold right now.

I'm afraid to say the BTC gold rush is over.
