Is there any responsibility for non working orders? My stop-loss does not work (created yesterday, 10 minutes ago it had to be executed). Who will cover my losses caused solely by Kraken?
PS: Guys, close all your positions and do not trade on Kraken!

I recommend everybody to stay away from Kraken until this is fixed.
They let a site run on a broken trading engine but they still apply full fees. They are stealing everybody's money...

Even if they charge no fee, I would not like to get losses because of theirs issues.

Yes but at least they would recognize the issue and that would be a commercial gesture until this is resolved.
By not doing anything and not even communicating officially on this serious issue, this gives the impression this is a scam...

@Official Kraken Team: I'm having questions/trouble with the public API data, especially the OHLC. If I request 1min OHLC bars as well as 1h OHLC bars, the data doesn't seem to coincide at all: https://api.kraken.com/0/public/OHLC?pair=ETHEUR&interval=1&since=0 https://api.kraken.com/0/public/OHLC?pair=ETHEUR&interval=60&since=0 For example, the timestamp 1500962400 (which is 2017-07-25 06:00:00) on the 1h bars gives me a volume of 2024.50730156 and a trade count of 447, while the summation of the volume of the 1m bars for that hour gives me 3842.00689444 and the summation of the trade counts gives me 772! How can that be?! How come according to all the minute bars that make up one hour there is almost TWICE as much volume in comparison to the single 1h bar?+ Not only that, but also the *past* data keeps changing! I requested the 1h bar for timestamp 1500962400 a couple hours ago and got this result: 0 1500962400 1 "193.43346" 2 "193.89741" 3 "190.19000" 4 "190.19000" 5 "192.09941" 6 "2024.50730156" 7 447
Now, if I query the data again (just now), I get this: 0 1500962400 1 "193.43346" 2 "193.89741" 3 "190.19000" 4 "190.19993" 5 "192.04256" 6 "4166.08028567" 7 805
Pretty amazing, it seems Kraken has a time machine and (constantly) updates old data.

Would there at least be an option to implement some temporary stopgap measures until the new engine is ready? For example a minimum order size to cut down on the total number of orders the engine has to handle.
I heard minimum order size was already increased from 0.0001 BTC to 0.0002 BTC. But I doubt that it will help much to increase it even more (at least the 0.0002 increase did not help) Yes, we are looking at possibly raising the order size minimums and some other quick things that can be implemented in the next few days. They may not be a huge help, but should help some.

Is there any update on the MtGox claim? Are the claimed bitcoins going to be deposited to our accounts and when?
MtGox progress is entirely out of our hands so we cannot give any updates. All updates on the situation will come from the MtGox trustee and will be posted on https://www.mtgox.com/.

Any news on when the new trading engine is coming online? Because the current one simply won't do anymore. It often takes several minutes to execute a market order, even when there's not much going on. For active trading, Kraken has become unusable in its current state.
Sorry, but I don't have any news to share at this time on the launch date for the new trade engine. How can you answer this without any other precision, excuse or any word for your customer to know what is going on. Did you try yourself to trade on your site? It is impossible. There are a lot of negative comments on forum/reddit and the lack of communication from your side is totally unprofessional. I answered the question, which was asking if there is any news on the new trading engine and there is no news. We understand that the new trade engine is very urgent and we are urgently working to launch it, but I cannot give any estimates as to when the launch date might be. What about lowering your fees until this is fixed? I lost money because of orders not executed. The engine is broken even when there is no high volume. Even the last price and orders book displayed on your site are not accurate. We don't plan to lower fees, but if you have lost money in a specific trade, please open a support ticket about it and we'll see what we can do for you.

Pretty amazing, it seems Kraken has a time machine and (constantly) updates old data. Thanks for reporting this. Are you making sure to not include the last entry in the array since that is always current? If you are including it, that would account for different results from the same time stamp, but may not account for the discrepancy between 1m and 1h intervals. If this isn't the issue, then it would be best to create a support ticket about it. From API documentation: Note: the last entry in the OHLC array is for the current, not-yet-committed frame and will always be present, regardless of the value of "since".

So when I make 50 trades a day I need to open 50 support tickets? Or when I try and make 200 trades and not 1 goes through, costing me money I should open 200 support tickets?
How about when it says my order hasn't gone through then I see 20 minutes later the order I tried to put in 5 times, now just got filled 5 times.
Just fix the shit.

Kraken, this is ridiculous. I need to think about your trading engine's problems before ordering.
Some trades are even more expensive than LocalBitcoins when taking into account the losses and the time wasted.

Please read a few pages of the topic before your post. Even stop-loss orders are executed at random price in a few hours after the limit pass. And Kraken's support refuses to compensate respective losses. there is no way that we can compensate for a stop loss not filling at the exact stop price. X EUR is not considered excessive slippage in this market.

It seems you guys have changed the minimum volume for many pairs without warning. This has caused me much headache this morning. I have already opened a ticket about it so rather than bitch about it any more here I would like to make a suggestion.
The public API method "AssetPairs" should be changed so that minimum volume for each pair is included in the return. This would make it so that when my bot is initialized it could make note of what the minimum volume is for each pair and then make sure that all orders for a given pair are at least of the minimum volume. This would make it so that you guys can change this value whenever you please, and it wouldn't break my bot, or anyone's for that matter.
right now the return for this method looks like this:
'XZECZUSD': {'aclass_base': 'currency', 'aclass_quote': 'currency', 'altname': 'ZECUSD', 'base': 'XZEC', 'fee_volume_currency': 'ZUSD', 'fees': [[0, 0.26], [50000, 0.24], [100000, 0.22], [250000, 0.2], [500000, 0.18], [1000000, 0.16], [2500000, 0.14], [5000000, 0.12], [10000000, 0.1]], 'fees_maker': [[0, 0.16], [50000, 0.14], [100000, 0.12], [250000, 0.1], [500000, 0.08], [1000000, 0.06], [2500000, 0.04], [5000000, 0.02], [10000000, 0]], 'leverage_buy': [], 'leverage_sell': [], 'lot': 'unit', 'lot_decimals': 8, 'lot_multiplier': 1, 'margin_call': 80, 'margin_stop': 40, 'pair_decimals': 5, 'quote': 'ZUSD'}}
what I am suggesting is simply adding a field like: 'minimum_volume' : <value representing minimum volume for this pair>
the Json return would then look something like:
'XZECZUSD': {'aclass_base': 'currency', 'aclass_quote': 'currency', 'altname': 'ZECUSD', 'base': 'XZEC', 'fee_volume_currency': 'ZUSD', 'fees': [[0, 0.26], [50000, 0.24], [100000, 0.22], [250000, 0.2], [500000, 0.18], [1000000, 0.16], [2500000, 0.14], [5000000, 0.12], [10000000, 0.1]], 'fees_maker': [[0, 0.16], [50000, 0.14], [100000, 0.12], [250000, 0.1], [500000, 0.08], [1000000, 0.06], [2500000, 0.04], [5000000, 0.02], [10000000, 0]], 'leverage_buy': [], 'leverage_sell': [], 'lot': 'unit', 'lot_decimals': 8, 'lot_multiplier': 1, 'margin_call': 80, 'margin_stop': 40, 'pair_decimals': 5, 'minimum_volume': 0.001(or whatever the actual value is, I don't currently know:S), 'quote': 'ZUSD'}}
Please pass this suggestion on tho whomever maintains the API methods.

+9999999 ^ 9999999 Here is the documentation on the new order minimums: https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/205893708-What-is-the-minimum-order-size-Keep in mind that these minimums are a temporary measure to help take some load off the trade engine. Not going to be a magic bullet, but may help some. We will likely lower these minimums after the new trade engine goes live or we have other more effective measures in place. (Sorry, I don't have an ETA on the new trade engine at this time, but we are working to launch it as soon as possible). I apologize for the poor communication on this change - it was not due to a lack of caring but a lack of good communication internally on our part.

11 days waiting for any response. Account locked but no news since days ago. Nice amount of $ but can not do any trade or withdrawal.
No response by twitter or mail...I understand them need time, but I do not know if my funds are safe in kraken or someone hacked it.
Ticket #311114
Thanks
Kraken team tell me,them will solve in short time... Waiting since 29 May Thanks Another week (50 days) and no more news about when kraken team release my account. I need do some movements, but always the answer: "We appreciate your patience" Thanks Two months later and I still can not access my funds. I have sent, and responded to everything the kraken team has asked me, they tell me that everything is ok, and my funds secure, but now they tell me to wait 2 or 3 more weeks. Honestly, this is not funny anymore. I hope seriously, and that this will be solved at once. Thank you.
