I've now managed to place an order on Kraken.
But when I go to "Orders", all I get is an error message on a red background saying "The requested order is not valid".
Is this service some sort of pre-alpha prototype, or are they actually trying to pass it off as a serious service?

it's been this up/down several days, last 12hours or so almost completely down earlier today i was able to make transaction to other exchange: nothing in three hours, usually it takes less than 10mins. kraken haven't given any comments to twitter either edit: Confirm withdrawal
Service is currently disabled. Please try again later update: transaction confirmed, site sticky but works

So I get this email in my inbox THIS MORNING:Announcement: Delisting Pairs and Temporary Suspension of Advanced Order Types
In order to help mitigate the strain on our platform caused by recent exponential growth, we are delisting some of our illiquid trading pairs and temporarily suspending all advanced order types. These changes will go into effect on Tuesday, August 22 around 6 am UTC (Monday August 21 around 11 pm Pacific).
The following pairs will be delisted with all outstanding orders being canceled
XBT/GBP ETH/GBP XRP/CAD XRP/JPY EOS/EUR EOS/USD XLM/EUR XLM/USD GNO/EUR GNO/USD REP/USD
We do not have any plans at this time to re-list any of these pairs, though this is a possibility once we have ample capacity to do so. FUCK KRAKEN - I HAD NO TIME TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. I TRADE IN £. KRAKEN - YOU GAVE US NO TIME. THIS IS DUPLICITOUS AND A DICK MOVE. SCUMMY. NO CHANCE TO SELL.
WHY NO WARNING? RESPOND KRAKEN!

The confirmation link for new withdrawal addresses via email is invalid. I tried several times, logged in/out, different browsers. It makes no difference.

@sgtwiggles @Newar - clients with a GBP balance should contact us through support about it, we have options for you. We apologize for the short notice, but we thought that things had reached the point where quick action was needed. We should have anticipated this better so more notice could be given, I think we were overly optimistic about being able to roll out infrastructure upgrades before anything like this was necessary.

Something wrong with my daily deposit limit, my daily deposit limit now is 13987$/25000$, but the last time my deposit arrived was 9 days ago. My daily deposit limit should be 0$/25000$. I deposited about 12000 eur yesterday (sepa) and still not arrive. I'm worried about the limit.

Can kraken still have GBP options please? Since you have some banking set up for GBP anyway can you give an option for deposit and withdraws. Else it means setting up bank accounts outside in euro and would have to consider other exchange like coinfloor etc because of hassle.

I"m tier 2 verified.
How can I get tier 3 verified if I don't have utility statements or equivalent from my residence? I travel a lot, and don't have any bills in my name.
Bank statement with the address on it?

What a bunch of muppets. Get some proper sysadmins on the case. I can imagine what a total mess it all is. Oh dear.

Listen to your customers and stop defrauding them, you fraudsters! Address this complaint: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2115216.0and those of many more here! You should be reported to the financial regulatory authorities of the jurisdiction you operate in and those of your customers whom you have caused so much grief, loss and inconvenience! Liars, thieves and fraudsters are the kind of people I detest and despise most!
