ROFL at the gigantic caps on the boards.

tbh.: that makes the piece of hardware more stable and effective. so why not ?
Does not even look that bad at all. As you might have seen on the Gen1 Boards.

is the design tested yet? i have 10 gen2 chips arriving next week and nothing to mount them in.

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

if the design works, i would be interested in an unpopulated board Smiley

Does 13 GH/s with 10 chips amount to 20 GH/s with 16 chips, or do you think 24 GH/s is possible?

looks nice, but are that many capacitors really needed, rather then substituting some larger single caps?

when might the design be for sale?

Nice, i can't wait to see what happen when you put the Electrolytic Capacitors  Smiley

Will the 4 pin molex be the only power connector? Or people can choose between terminal screw?

I got the Molex one on my HEX16A boards. At first i thought it would be better, because i do have more possibilities what i am connecting it to. But after some thoughts i came to the conclusion that the molex option is the better one. If you want to buy an energy efficient PSU you cant avoid to buy an atx psu (the one for the computer) and those are mostly delivered with molex pins.

My advise: Take the Molex Wink

I ask marto to use terminal screw on my HEX16A since my PSU not modular & only had MOLEX on 1 line cable only.
Accidentally when loosen ground screw, the terminal screw blue body push the smd capacitor and the capacitor detached from solder pad  Grin.
Since i don't had smd rework station, so it's was really hard to solder with soldering iron. But i manage to do with 2 soldering iron.

So marto, maybe you can consider to move that 2 capasitor a bit  Wink
