Our design is the only one in production with about 50 pieces in the customers hands already, but Avalon team liked drillbit design better. Now drillbit have to test it quickly to put the chips in action winch is great

The 2Good review says about 92w needed for each one. You need a PC power supply with molex connectors, maybe get some sata to molex convertors, and wire them into the PCI-e wires. Best if you try to spread them 1 machine per wire, but 18AWG should be able to handle 2 Units (184w) Get a single rail PSU (so there's less chance of blowing it up if you don't evenly distribute) and don't load it past 75%

Marto now we're in December shouldn't you say the new orders are for delivery January? It's a short month with Christmas holidays/delivery services and there are Nov/Dec orders still pending.

@marto74
I see that you sell both fully assembled boards with chips, and an assembly service including board.
Do you sell/ship just the boards and if so how much are just the boards and how difficulty is it to attach the ASIC to the PCB?

I hadn't entered my postcode correctly and didn't notice that you requested an update last week, update has been sent but receipt not confirmed yet. Thanks, I appreciate your time.

If you have a solder reflow oven -- no problem -- otherwise it's not for you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reflow_ovenAvailable on Amazon as well -- only a few hundred to $10K -- a great Christmas gift for your wife. She can cook the Christmas turkey after you solder your chips.

Wire them into PCI-e wires? I've ordered 7 boards and I'd like to run them with as little PSU's as possible. I've found a PSU with 80plus silver certificate which delivers 48A at 12v, so that's 576watt. 75% if that is 432watt, so should be enough to run 4 boards. 2 of those psu's for all my boards. Read somewhere to hook up a simple device on 5v to make it more stable, like an old HD or cdrom drive. Would that work?
