Same error here but one from six board. Helps only when i shut down the psu. Other five board work well with 20gh.
Hi,

my HEX16A2, which was delivered on thursday, went down from about 20HG/s to 5HG/s last night. It did that for the third time. I have a powered USB HUB and a 600W power supply, that is only for this miner. Restart of cgminer does not help, when i turn off the 12v and then turn it on again, the miner goes back to normal work. Is there a command to reset the miner hardware?

Bye
Michael

No Idea on that one?

You can test the problem board without usb hub to see the behavior. Did the powered usb hub use same power source as the miner?
What is your usb hub brand? Some of us encounter problem with usb hub that use stt chip.

It had the same problem without hub, direct connected to the pi, that was why i added the hub.

Hmm, let me test with my pi later.

Result:

I had been test HEX16C on pi whole night. It work well except for chip 0 nonce problem i guess since hash rate decrease from 23 GH/s to 20 Gh/s.
You need to test the board on other host, PC maybe just to make sure the board status.

Can anyone confirm I can run ~20 or so boards with the TP-Link MR3020, with two 10port powered USB2 hubs on piggyback ?

Thanks.

I am not sure about this since i don't had that many board. But i am more prefer to buy another TL-ML3020 since the price is very cheap.

With 2 HEX16A & 1 HEX16C, my TL-ML3020 memory usage already at 156%. Add 2 nanofury memory usage reach 180%.

Two tplinks common ground and the hub I am posting about all the times;)
If you want them over clocked go for three tplinks because of common ground I think 1250w psu will die with 10 Over clocked  boards Wink

I don't think memory might be an issue. I've got 7 HEX16A2 running and doesn't seem like it's hampering performance.

I'd still limit it to 10 per router though. To be on the safe side.

Yes, but i just don't like pushing the router that hard. That why my 2 nanofury moved to tablet now.

What other software and hardware are you using to mine ataa coins?

Most of us dont't mine alt coins. Because it isn't worth.
But if want to mine with p2pool i think its the best choice to use linux an cgminer 3.10 with patch from technobit.

i configured 1000mV when then HEX16A2 went down to 5GH/s, at the moment i configured 1100mv and it did not happen again yet. Maybe it the lower voltage could make it unstable!?
