Hi marto,

I had plan to not use the molex connector but will just solder the power cable to molex connector pin.
I checked the schematic & see that +5 VDC from molex isolated by unmounted R42.
So i want to make sure that i only need +12 VDC only right ?
Yes.
The 5 Volts are delivered by 7805 IC or from USB. Both are possible , depending on 0 Ohm resistor placement.
But from molex We get only 12 Volts, so you can direct solder wires on the connector terminals on the back.

Hi guys,

I followed the instructions on page 11 to get the board running with cgminer, but no success so far. Also on windows it was not possible for me the get it running.

The board LED's are blinking sometimes , sometimes not. Has anyone any Idea or had the same problems?
At least it got recognized on my raspberry, but thats all so far.

Could you please tell us you configuration & which miner board(HEX16A, HEX16B, HEX16C, Nanofury)  Smiley

ohh sorry,
it is the HEX16A2 connected to raspberry pi with debian wheezy, PSU has 16A at 12V, so it should be enough power available.
I tried with cgminer 3.8.1 with patch, board gets recognized but no hashes

i used this command to start cgminer:
sudo ./cgminer --hexminerc-voltage 900 --hexminerc-options 16:540

Ok, let try to compile cgminer 3.8.5 since there is bug with hexminerc driver on 3.8.1 patch.
Code:
1. mkdir cgminer
2. cd cgminer
3. wget https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/archive/v3.8.5.tar.gz
4. tar -xvf v3.8.5.tar.gz
5. cd cgminer-3.8.5
6. wget https://www.dropbox.com/s/bqn2fzpglcs20be/afe7710858e4ce28bb60f6ae6e167a18d687634f.patch
7. patch -p1 < afe7710858e4ce28bb60f6ae6e167a18d687634f.patch
8. ./autogen.sh --enable-avalon --enable-hexminerc
9. make

If that still not work, then try to use powered usb hub.

Edit: Just curious, what is the PSU brand?

I tried to compile v3.8.5 but it failed. So i switched back to v3.8.1 and used your parameters, but "--set_default_to_c" doesn't work. Here is a screenshot of the verbose debug messages of cgminer. The HEX16A2 just blinks (red and green)

PSU is no name and also tried with an external powered usb hub

Hey,
1. Enable only HexC Avalon2 board by doing ./autogen.sh -enable-hexminerc
2. Triple check if your board is powered 12v use multimeter and measure the power on miles/thermal connector. It should show you 12v

I managed to get the board up running with ubuntu on a notebook with this already compiled version of cgminer -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355323.40 from user 2GOOD.

I tried to configure it with all options and also only with hexminerc enabled on raspberry pi with debian.
Nevertheless, the "make" process always fails
Code:
CC     cgminer-usbutils.o
CC     cgminer-driver-hexminerc.o
CCLD   cgminer
cgminer-driver-hexminerc.o: In function `hexminerc_send_task':

hi marto

have the nanofurys that you were selling on technobit for 48 euro and afterwards 52 euro  been fully produced and ready for pickup/despatch

please update the circumstance here

(just posting in a few places as i am not sure where you would see it. not trolling.  will delete afterwards)

thank you
No all our products are preorder with 3-4 weeks delivery , that we are a little bit behind @ the moment.
@ the moment you can only order nanos with your chips for assembly service and this will be filled in 3-4 weeks

Best Martin
