After I go to Network > Diagnostics > Network Utilities > select Ping under openwrt.org the following appears, which appears to receive 5 packets: PING openwrt.org (78.24.191.177): 56 data bytes 64 bytes from 78.24.191.177: seq=0 ttl=45 time=320.958 ms 64 bytes from 78.24.191.177: seq=1 ttl=45 time=327.736 ms 64 bytes from 78.24.191.177: seq=2 ttl=45 time=322.592 ms 64 bytes from 78.24.191.177: seq=3 ttl=45 time=321.142 ms 64 bytes from 78.24.191.177: seq=4 ttl=45 time=320.564 ms --- openwrt.org ping statistics --- 5 packets transmitted, 5 packets received, 0% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max = 320.564/322.598/327.736 ms Then I go to Status > Miner Configuration and under Pool1 worker, I wanted to ask: This part of the string - 12pYWpT7wfmKgoiK7HaAfy8DCeuYofJRHt - this looks unfamiliar, do I insert my Bitcoin wallet address here? Thank you for your help, I really do appreciate it 12pYWpT7wfmKgoiK7HaAfy8DCeuYofJRHt is my wallet address for mining at eligius. If you want to start mining at eligius use then use the pool1 info I put in my post and one of your own wallet addresses, eligius then uses that as your username and makes any payment to that address. Thank you so much, I would be happy to send you a small donation, as a token of thanks for helping me to get set up. Where can I check to see how many coins that I've mined throughout the week? I tried to search for Eligius and was brought to http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/mystats.php Just replace my wallet address with yours http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/12pYWpT7wfmKgoiK7HaAfy8DCeuYofJRHtPS: Any donations will be gratefully received

Yeah, I think blockchain.info wallets work, but I would really suggest installing bitcoin-qt as you can sign messages a lot easier (not sure if you can with blockchain.info) which you'll need to change settings at Eligius. Download and install bitcoin-qt anyway, it'll be a good lesson ;-) Then go here to learn all you need to know: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=441465.0Happy hashing!

I'm curious I am running mainly Antminers at the moment but spread across a number of pools to reduce variance making my earnings are more consistent. It also helps when a pool has a failure as the hashing power then moves to the other pools.

For you at your present mining skill level I would go with BTCGuild just steer clear of P2Pool until you are further up the learning curve and from GHash.io (cex.io) because they are the biggest at present and should be denied a monopoly.

No you have to register with BTCGuild first and then enter the right username. The Ant's by default operate in a failover mode so when pool 1 fails the ant starts sending shares to pool 2. What I do is load balance between a number of pools by editing the antiminer's scripts, search around the Bitcoin forum for load-balance and you will find out how to do it but I strongly suggest that the next step for yourself is looking into overclocking, again have a search around the forum and you will find out how whilst your Ant is making you BTC

Sorry in advance if this has been discussed before 1) Powering
Note: New Antminers come with 2xPCIe 6 pin connector ports, so no extenders or cable cutting is required.
May I please confirm that I will be able to power 2 x Feb batch antminers with 1 x Seasonic 1000w platinum PSU http://www.seasonicusa.com/Platinum_Series.htmAND that I will not need to buy PCI-e entender cables to prepare ? According to pages 49 and 51 of the manual http://www.seasonicusa.com/images/BrochureManuals/P_series_Manual.pdfthe PSU include 6 x PCI-E 6/8 Pin Connectors I thought a 6 pin PCI-e plug was limited to 75W, whereas each blade probably uses 180-200W Does this mean each antminer comes with 4 x PCIe 6 pin connector ports ? or just one connector per blade ? Thank you

Thank you 75W per cable is rubbish. They can carry 320W at least with proper 18AWG wire, which most good PSUs use. Each board has 1x 6 pin PCI-E connector, so 2 per miner. You will be absolutely fine with this PSU.

Thank you, One quick question, I am going to pickup the seasonics on Wednesday, the manual illustrates the 6/8 pin PCIe connector Will that connector fit a PCIe 6 pin connector port ? thanks

Yes. The psu end will use the fixed 8 pin and the pci end will use the 6 pin the +2 will just hang.
