Can musicians earn Devcoin?
Currently musicians and filmmakers only earn devcoins for their lyrics and scripts respectively. This was not mentioned in the categories section: http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin#categoriesso I've updated it from: The musicians category includes people who perform music and people who create or record unique sounds. .. The filmmakers category includes people who make movies, shorts, and animation. Fan films only qualify if the source license also qualifies for devcoins.
to: The musicians category includes people who perform music and people who create or record unique sounds. Could we take a script from one of our own YouTube videos and post it?

Are there any objections to me creating new threads here in the alt currencies section of Bitcointalk to: - Explain the DVC bounty for compiling a stable windows installer - Explaining the DVC bounty for a new DVC exchange or for an existing exchange to integrate DVC? I would like to play a role in making these things happen, and I believe that as it is all hidden away in this mega long thread these bounties are not getting the exposure they deserve in the forum here. Please let me know as I would like to do this Sure, but I suggest just one thread for all bounties. Because there are so many updates on the alternate cryptocurrencies forum, individual bounty threads would fall off the first few pages, never to be seen again. I don't think there's a need for explaining the bounties further. Anyone you knows a topic well enough to get a bounty also knows what the description implies. +1 for this ... +3 to create a concise list of all current and proposed bounties (some seem to be awaiting a time when devcoin is valuable enough to actually make a worth while bounty, in the meantime they are just hopes and dreams)
I collected the current bounties for big projects at: http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin_bounty_now

If you own the copyright to your script and video, yes.

Hi, I have a clarifying question about earning coins by writing for the wiki. I just submitted an article ( http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=meditation) that was over a thousand words, but I still don't think I'm entirely finished with it. Say I get rewarded for the words I wrote, but later I want to add to the article, can I still get rewarded for later additions? Also, what about contributing to articles others have written, how would the rewards work in this case (or is editing others' articles not allowed)?

Yes, if you add additional words to an article you have already written later on, you will be paid for those additional words automatically in the next months generation shares, when the script is run to calculate and generate the generation share payouts. As far as I know, if you add words to someone elses article is between you and the author, to arrange for you to receive some of the authors generation shares. Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong!

Are there some fallback nodes?
I have a dedicated server now so it should be running with port open at 198.154.60.183 hopefully 24/7 forever now. At some point I will point a hostname at that server. I guess I should also look into how DNS seed works and set some up in the DNS of my knotwork.com domain and hey why not, some of the devtome/devcoin domains too if possible. -MarkM-

Actually that's not a bad idea for additional dvc bounties, for translating dvc informational sites and devtome to different languages?

I would like to request a bounty be discussed for a text populating wizard/flow that can be used as a standardized generator for security prospectus so more devcoin based securities can be issued on cryptostocks or other sites.

I have set up some (5 or 6) permanent nodes long time ago. I will check if they are still operational and set up some more shortly (to keep number of permanent nodes at least at . The IPs of these servers will be posted here.

I would also like to see more devcoin investment opportunities on cryptostocks and such sites, am tempted to set up my own if i ever got a good idea and enough devcoins to start one, as it is i feel I am about to snap up a couple of thousand shares in the DVB listing... so buy them b4 I do... think there not many cheap ones left.
