Is there any hope for us get back the coins from Ukyo?
Yes. (Does that help?) Given Ukyos track record of incompetence, I lost all hope the moment it surfaced the coins weren't accesible anymore.

he is a criminal, and so far his BFL-type 'wait and promise while taking money' strategy is working really well.
Except, BFL shipped everyone's miner in the end, are still in business, were at BTC Miami showing off the Monarch and the tiny hardware wallet, etc. Nice, thanks. You are correct. Poor comparison. Ukyo is worse than BFL and while BFL was grossly incompetent and dishonest, they were not criminal, like Ukyo.

@SebastianJu: Wrong thread. You're thinking of Active Mining, the other honest business that failed.
Right... i mixed that.

I really hope I get my BTC ("only" 400 mBTC) back before BTC jumps to 10000 USD. I was just "meh" when BTC was 100 USD I was pissed at 1000 USD I do not want to imagine the situation when BTC hits 10000 USD

November 27, 2013, 06:17:30 AM(...) I will be providing the answer in full, however right now it is impossible for what I would describe as legal reasons, but the answers are coming, that I promise, but cannot give an exact time as to when this information can be made public. (...)
I know both myself and Jon would like to be able to post everything out in the open to give a full explanation about everything that has brought everyone into this position (...).
1. when will you be providing any answer? 2. what is it what you would describe as legal reasons? 3. how do you know Jon would like to be able to post everything out in the open?

I really hope there is an update at some point. *EDIT* The fact that Danny is involved but hasn't updating anything recently is troubling. Even if it is a 'We are still working on it and have tried A, B, and C'. As an investor in NEO, this is not painting Danny is good light.

It's not painting Neo or Bee in a good light either. I'm more disgusted at the contempt shown by ukyo by not posting updates; what would it take, a minute or two from his precious schedule? Even if it's to say "for legal reasons I still can't say anything".

Would be great if Danny Brewster of NEOBEE could actually achieve something here, given the raised expectation his initial 'involvement' gave. But it seems Danny was just going to lend money out to Ukyo, that Ukyo doesnt seem to have followed up. Me thinks Danny/NEOBEE made a wrong judgement call, and regrets getting involved with an incompetent, who convinces himself and thinks he his convincing us, that he is 'hectic' and 'busy' trying to sort this bullshit out.
Someone mentioned earlier that 'progress' is being made. Wheres the evidence?
Come on Jon/Ukyo, just one slither of real evidential progress??

Show us the money now, or officially default, seems to be the only options left.

Thought game here: what possible scenario could we have for Ukyo :
a) taking deposits from users knowing he was not able to pay them back for over a month and half.
b) what technical problem could he possibly be working on for 2.5 months that was render all of funds unavailable. And what technical problem could be 'solved' leading to the recovery of our deposits. Really.
c) taking out a big loan when this started for unstated reasons that he defaulted on.
d) what possible 'legal reasons' could he have for not being able to explain the situation. I can not think of a single situation either. (What, do you think he has a secret gag order from the CIA or something? )
e) he hasn't posted on these forums for 2 weeks.
f) I admit this is just a suspicion here: but it is very auspicious timing that this went down right went bitcoin entered it's last boom.
I'm open to any hypothesis that explains the situation.
My personal conclusion is you are being strung along.
Look guys I'm going to owe Ukyo 10,000 apologies if he actually pays us all back. Trust me, I'll feel really, really, really bad if this is so. I'm very much not an asshole in real life, I just get angry when my money is stolen.
But by using logic, and looking at the the situation rationally, the most likely situation by a very large margin is that he did something illegal and has absconded with the funds.
If you don't buy my conclusion, or are still in denial, describe exactly the situation to a friend who has never heard of Ukyo before, and listen to what they say.
Or think of this: if you deposited $10,000 in a bank, or at car lot, or to a realtor, and they said they had 'technical problems' and could not describe them 'for legal reasons' and then they told you "updates coming next week" for a few months and then stopped communicating with you altogether -- and another 1,000 people, what would you do ? Would you really say 'oh maybe he'll come pay me my life savings, I trust this guy, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt -- even though I don't even know him -- for three or six or however long it takes. Pretty please an update Ukyo, thanks man, good luck sorting out the problems! '. Really..? Like.... really?
..really? Sometimes I get suspicious that some of you have been paid off and its all of us small account holders have been left with the empty bag, because I just can't fathom doing nothing if I had $5000, $10,000 or $100,000 on the line. If lived anywhere remotely near Texas I'd be down there tomorrow, and I've only lost 1 btc.

This thread deserves a theme song and I'm going to propose: Badfinger - Baby Blue http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C53QAuOoSgcGuess I got what I deserve Kept you waiting there, too long my love All that time, without a word Didn't know you'd think, that I'd forget, or I'd regret The special love I have for you My baby blue All the days became so long Did you really think I'd do you wrong Dixie, when I let you go Thought you'd realize, I would know, I would show The special love I have for you My baby blue What can I do, what can I say? Except that I want you by my side How can I show you? Show me a way Don't you know, the times I tried Guess that's all I have to say Except the feeling just grows stronger everyday Just one thing, before I go Take good care, baby let me know, let it grow The special love you have for me My Dixie dear

I really like this idea. Maybe he got problems with the IRS and now his funds are frozen. What does the US law say about earnings in other currencies (bitcoin)?
