How does PoI work?

That is NEM's secret sauce, I guess we have to wait for the whitepaper.

Whitepaper is being worked on. We'll probably adjust the algorithm based on tests in the alpha, so the paper will not be out before the alpha, but we are talking about releasing the whitepaper before launch. Nothing is set in stone, though.

There's no exact date allthough the target was to start it by the end of this month. The alpha probably going to start small (i.e. non public) and then get bigger and bigger as we go.

what if we auctioned nem stakes for stake holders who want to get rid of them as well,more auctioned stakes more new people happy .I think who buys on auction is most likely buying for longer period

that way we might avoid dumping when we get on the first exchange it could stabilize the price of nem

Ex-dev? I think you are wrong. J.L is the leading light for Nxt. I can't say enough good things about him (as well as Cfb and some other developers) and they are the main reason I still hold on to a chunk of Nxt.

Today was an interesting economic article on the frontpage, in the most mainstream website with the biggest traffic in my country. It was interview with a economic star - young professor and author of popular economic books. First part was about how succesful, talented and respected he became in economic circles. Then, he was talking about current state of economy and its problems. He could not evade talk central bankers and about how undemocratic current monetary system is. When he was asked, If there is a solution, he started to talk about crypto currency. He said, that he is sure that future belongs to cryptocoin, that will solve some Bitcoins problems. So yeah, he was talking about NEM

But he also said, that central bankers will fight it, und use all power they have.

Voted. I am waiting for the coin to come out. I like the pool idea because I am currently running a rig to mine Litecoin which can contribute for NEM.

I occupy two entries in the final stakeholder list, #91 and #1824. It happened because I was one of the first who said «I love NEM», but then I desided to pay, just in case, to be sure.

It happened to a number of people. I would ask you to consider the other small fee as a donation to NEM (or I could refund you that fee). Officially, no matter how many times and how much you sent from one account it only counted as one share.

Sorry, I did not understand, for what purpose the other fee. You mean, I can pay for shaktigami to be in the list? As for me, as I understand, everything is OK, I have my stake

What is strong? Are 15 random alpha-num characters enough? How many characters do you recommend?
