Don't u plan to add new qureno algo?
Not until there are pools available that support the new algo

Hey Trex,

is it possible to add CTXC Cortex?

Would be awesome!
Maybe, not sure at this point.
Thanks for suggestion.

0.18.1

* Add "progpow-veriblock" algorithm (for Veriblock)
* Add "progpow-veil" algorithm (for VEIL's upcoming fork)
* Add "megabtx" algorithm (for Bitcore)
* Remove CUDA dependency for "kawpow"/"progpow" algorithms
* From now on "stratum+tcp" automatically selects the most commonly used pool protocol for a given algorithm (use "stratum1+tcp" and "stratum2+tcp" to override it)

Bug fixes:
* Occasional crashes on miner shutdown
* Miner wouldn't start if some of the GPUs aren't supported even though they are deselected via "-d"
* (ethash) Consuming memory on the GPUs deselected by "-d"
* (Web UI) "Update available" pop-up kept showing up upon monitoring page refresh

Hi all,
I am new here and using free power, i am mining RVN coin with T-rex, but there are some questions need to answer:
1, in download page, there are many verion of Cuda, which one should i use, i am using Quadro P2200
2, how to increase GPU load because i see it is running at low speed, still using only 5% GPU.

Thank you

THANK YOU LAFU, MPREP, AND OTHERS--

The malicious, carbon-copy "ethpill" link is being posted several times a day in various mining threads.  Each time a new (hacked, fake, or stolen) username is on the post.  If you have not seen it, please do not click the link.  You may well loose crypto or suffer computer damage.  I have not analyzed the link or the "payload", but it is not good.  Others have carefully tested it.

The link promises software that can duplicate the results of the original ETH "pill" over multiple graphics cards models, memory types, and card brands.  This in itself is highly unlikely.  And, a bona fide software project will generally have a single developer source.  This malicious campaign continually uses a fresh username for each post.

Just REPORT it.  No need to quote it, please don't.  Quoting the link keeps it alive.  Use the "report" link in the bottom right of every BitCoinTalk post.  Thanks in advance...       --scryptr

Hi miners,

I am new here.

I just tested T-Rex Miner on our new Ravencoin (KAWPOW) pool (https://rvn.bsmith.io) and it works wonderfully.

Thanks to the DEV team !!

Try "--no-nvml" option, this should disable all monitoring including the fan speed.

* (ethash, kawpow, progpow) Performance improvements on Windows for some configurations up to 3%
Got cuda exception in [trexInitializerM, 194], unspecified launch failure errors for all cards after upgrading from 16.2 to 18.2
Disabling core and memory overclock didn't help.
Asus Phoenix 1063, Win7 SP1, Driver 451.67, core voltage 700mv (732mv also didn't work).
Code:
start /b /w /HIGH t-rex --devices 0,1,2,3,4 -a kawpow --mt 3 -o stratum+tcp://rvn.2miners.com:6060 -u wallet.worker -p x --log-path logs\t-rex.log --cpu-priority 5 --temperature-limit 80 --temperature-start 60 --temperature-color 64,72 --exit-on-cuda-error
Removing -mt also din't help

16.2 works perfectly with
Code:
-lockVoltagePoint:0,700000 -setBaseClockOffset:0,0,152 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,500

Which builds did you use for 0.16.2 and 0.18.2? My guess it was CUDA 11.0 for 0.16.2 and CUDA 11.1 for 0.18.2. If that's the case, then you either need to update the drivers to 455+ or use CUDA 10.0 build as it has lower driver requirements.

Try changing your connection prefix from "stratum+tcp" to "stratum2+tcp". Unfortunately I don't have a full connection string handy at the moment to test it myself.
