hi, here again a test with my old amd cards with the lolMiner 0.6 alpha1, mining anon on 144_5 algo. the most improvement i got on the old tahiti's ~30-35%, the hawaii (290x / 390x) cards improved about 15-20% here some "snapshot" numbers after 90 sec of hashing, (3,5,7,9) are tahiti (7970 / 280x) cards. Device ID Sol/s new Sol/s old Improvement 0 35,2 29,9 1,177257525 1 33,8 28,4 1,190140845 2 34,9 29,6 1,179054054 3 25,3 18,9 1,338624339 4 35,1 28,3 1,240282686 5 24,9 18,6 1,338709677 6 34,4 28,4 1,211267606 7 26,1 19,8 1,318181818 8 36,3 31,3 1,159744409 9 26,5 19,9 1,331658291
so about 25% bump overall, big thx for your work. thats not all, its a small sample size, but holy f*** you're beating the current EWBF_ miner (0.6) hashrate on my desktop NVidia card (same OC settings) lolMiner 0.6 alpha is currently peaking at about 92 sol/s: 1080ti with OC settings: +100 core, +600 mem, 100 PL -> 86-90 sol/s Average speed (20s): 89.8 sol/s Average speed (20s): 88.6 sol/s Average speed (20s): 88.2 sol/s Average speed (20s): 89.2 sol/s Submitting share Share accepted --------------------------------------------- Average speed (90s): 89.1 sol/s --------------------------------------------- vs EWBF_'s miner, where i'm getting around 79-84 sol/s i have to look at the longruns and see how stable the alpha version is for now. thanks again!

v6 should run with same config as v5, eh? Not working yet, says "EXAMPLE_BTG" not found in config file etc...
"EXAMPLE_BTCZ" : { "COIN" : "BTCZ", "POOLS" : [ {"POOL" : "mine-btcz-na.equipool.1ds.us", "PORT" : "50063", "USER" : "t1h7WGHNLx8hY97UerETfDPVfVj9QqNM94d.lolMiner", "PASS" : "minpayout=2000"}] } }
Update... So I changed to "EXAMPLE_BTG" on my BTCZ config and am now rocking a steady 14% increase on this rig. 4x XFX 580s and 2x MSI 1060s. All stock settings here. The 1060s are matching my 1060s on an OC Nvidia rig. Good job, Lolliedieb and thank you! For the life of me I can't fathom those who complain about your fees??

Test 144,5 on ver 0.6 speed +3 Good job Thx for feedback By the way: are you using the hive version? I modded the existing one for 0.5 for 0.6, but had no chance to test it. So would be great to know if its working (If I remember correctly you asked about Hove some time ago ) test on linux. that support only 144,5. for another algo cannot mining. for HiveOs, i'm wait full version. Thanks

The 1060s are matching my 1060s on an OC Nvidia rig. Good job, Lolliedieb and thank you! For the life of me I can't fathom those who complain about your fees?? Hi there, I guess what happened is that the start script (run_miner.bat or run_miner.sh) is pointing to EXAMPLE_BTG, while your old pointed to BTCZ. Overall 0.6 and 0.5 use same command line format and same config file style, so usually its just copying over the config and start scripts and run as used to before Regarding stability: except for API and mining code the two versions are very similar. I expect alpha 1 to be similar stable / unstable as 0.5. Should work fine up to 4-5 GPUs while 5-6+ one better runs two copies of the miner. Only thing may be flaws in the new mining code. The AMD one just got ready yesterday while the Nvidia was now in testing for approx a week - I did not notice crashes or too many bad shares till now, but only have a bit limited test sys. hi, here again a test with my old amd cards with the lolMiner 0.6 alpha1, mining anon on 144_5 algo. the most improvement i got on the old tahiti's ~30-35%, the hawaii (290x / 390x) cards improved about 15-20% here some "snapshot" numbers after 90 sec of hashing, (3,5,7,9) are tahiti (7970 / 280x) cards. .... so about 25% bump overall, big thx for your work. thats not all, its a small sample size, but holy f*** you're beating the current EWBF_ miner (0.6) hashrate on my desktop NVidia card (same OC settings) lolMiner 0.6 alpha is currently peaking at about 92 sol/s: 1080ti with OC settings: +100 core, +600 mem, 100 PL -> 86-90 sol/s .... vs EWBF_'s miner, where i'm getting around 79-84 sol/s i have to look at the longruns and see how stable the alpha version is for now. thanks again! Wow, the R390 really kick ass - did not expect this. For the polaris GPUs the miner is now in bandwidth limit while was in clock limit before. Seems this helped more on older cards ^^ Regarding the Nvidias: Fit well to what I measured on my 1080s But to be realistig you run quite high power target - afaik lolMiner likes that a bit more then ewbf 0.6 - with more moderate settings they should run equaly fast for 1080ti test on linux. that support only 144,5. for another algo cannot mining.
for HiveOs, i'm wait full version. Thanks
Ah, well good aspect. I will try to change the hive integration over weekend so the alpha does not overwrite the 0.5 stable and one can insrall them side by side. Thx for reply, stay tuned

Fully powered Vega 56's are getting: Average speed (300s): 32.7 sol/s | 32.9 sol/s | 38.6 sol/s | 36.9 sol/s | 38.7 sol/s Total: 179.8 sol/s Ignore the first two numbers - I had to undervolt my 64's as full watts swamped my ps. The last three are 56's, so it's averaging around 37-39 sol/s fully powered. Just don't want to spend an additional 60w per card to get another 3-5 sol/s The fully powered (240w) Vega 64's (first two numbers) are giving me 41-43 sol/s: Average speed (300s): 41.8 sol/s | 42.5 sol/s | 31.2 sol/s | 29.1 sol/s | 31.0 sol/s Total: 175.5 sol/s Nice progress, Lolliedieb. I've since changed from AMD driver to ROCM 1.9, so the comparison to the numbers above may not be apples to apples, but here are the results using ROCM 1.9 on Ubuntu 18.04 with .06 alpha for stand-alone review: Vega 56 (fully powered, only compute option set) : Average speed (300s): 40.8 sol/s | 38.7 sol/s | 40.2 sol/s Total: 119.6 sol/s Vega 64 (fully powered, only compute option set) : Average speed (300s): 45.0 sol/s | 45.5 sol/s Total: 90.5 sol/s

Hey and thanks for the awesome program I just tried to update from 0.5 to 0.6, but somehow I can't launch my miner now, using the same bat file which looks as follows: lolMiner.exe --coin AION --pool aion-eu.luxor.tech --port 3366 --user 0xa0cba3029307dba3af3b71f024502450c41424d35b058a7e776f9f716b5beaae.amd --pass x --devices 1,2 didn't change anything and it worked since you launched for AION. When I launch it, it just closes, don't even get time to see the error.

Yeah. I went up from 125sols to 145sols. Not Bad. But its not stable for my rig. Can i look somewhere (logfile) what happens ?. Its always when i am not at home. Driver is crimsen 15.12 Version 15.300.1025.1001 from 04.12.2015. Normally all algos and miner works good with this driver.

You can enable --logs 1 and the miner will write all its text output to a logfile in ./logs directiory. Will be interesting of thus is a 0 sol/s or something like that - such things are hard to find in testing and thus exactly what I had hoped to discover with the public alpha

At the top of the log it should tell you about "using device ..." with the gpu name It can be systematic that gpu2 has a flaw but also could be a problem in my code. If this happens multiple times an every time its a different GPU its likely to be a code problem, else a GPU one. Since this code is very new I would rather bet on code problem atm

Hello lolMiner, I tried using lolMiner to mine PirateChain (ARRR) and I can't get how to connect. So now I'm using claymore because of this reason. But I want to use your lolMiner because it's what I use when I mine with GENX. Is it possible for lolMiner to mine Pirate (ARRR) or VerusCoin (VRSC) or Komodo (KMD)?

Hi there, as far as I know BZE is a fork of BitcoinZ with same mining settings, so you can use --coin BTCZ for this one Hello lolMiner, I tried using lolMiner to mine PirateChain (ARRR) and I can't get how to connect. At the moment this does not work yet, since this is an other flavor of Equihash (200/9) - I do not know if I will add this, because there are already lots of asics around for this, so that is undecided yet. Maybe will do so for the sake of completeness. How about the Ksol per card for AMD 570 4 GB graphic cards?
Depends on the algorithms, what do you want to mine? (Since there are 4 different algorithms in this miner there is no single answer). Since you speak of kilosol/s it may be MNX - in 0.5 that should do ~10k sol/s, for 0.6 not yet known (still in development).

Hi, I'm having trouble with lolMiner and HiveOS. Version 0.34 is in the HiveOS, this is my miner setup: And when it starts, this is the log: Then it just loops with the same message: Received job has wrong number of parameters! What seems to be the problem here ? I've tried several pools, it's not that... If you take a look at the image you posted 001 you'll see that the version of lolminer is 0.34 for equihash 96/5 which is minexcoin you can find and use lolminer 0.5 under custom miners instructions from first page https://forum.hiveos.farm/t/custom-miner-lolminer/8135
