West Indies somehow survived and won the match, it was a great match in the end. I thought it was a boring series and then when Pakistan started to come back in the match even though West Indies had only a small total to chase, it was an incredible resistance and performance by both the teams and West Indies was able to win the match in the end and gave everyone an interesting match .

I would say that the result once again re-affirmed the fact that Pakistan is a better team compared to West Indies, at least in the test format. West Indies were playing at home and still they could only win the match by the smallest of the margins. The last wicket partnership between Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales rescued them from the jaws of defeat. The Pakistan bowlers really bowled well, especially the pacers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali. This win means that now West Indies is on top of the WTC points table.

It was a very enjoyable match. Because we’ve seen a lot of ups and downs on both sides. When Pakistan's second innings ended, it seemed that Pakistan was going to lose the match. When the West Indies lost a few wickets early in the second innings, I thought the result was going in Pakistan's favor. In the end, Kemar Roach's victory helped the West Indies win the match.

Rarely we see test matches getting so close. When Jomel Warrican got out, West Indies were at 151/9, with 17 more runs needed. Two genuine tailenders were at the crease (Kemar Roach & Jayden Seales). Somehow, the Pakistani bowlers, who had performed exceptionally up to that point could not get one additional wicket. Jayden Seales survived for 13 balls, and that surprised me. In the end, it was a disappointing result for Pakistan. The second test is scheduled for this week, and hopefully they could make a comeback.

Even thought it was disappointing for the Pakistan supporters the match itself was entertaining as the results could have gone either way till West Indies scored the winnings runs with the tail end players and one wicket in hand, it is one of those rare matches we see in cricket. It was a great comeback by Pakistan and 20 plus runs would have made a huge difference in the match and Pakistan would have won as it was that close.

India is also going in the same path as the only batsman in the crease when the final day started (Pant) is back in the pavilion and now it is a matter of time England bowls out the rest of the player and India is leading by 180 runs and they need 30 plus runs to be comfortable and think of defending.

Lol funny scene at the lords, before the game started, no one imagined that Indian tail would start batting like a pro...So far 58* runs partnership for the 9th wicket. English bowlers clearly looks frustrated and rightly so.

No comments whats so ever, i thought England could start chasing when they lost their 7 wicket for 194 and the tail end players were exposed and it looks like they are playing a much better game of cricket than the top order batsman and these are crucial runs and we are going to see another draw. I thought about wagging a bet on England but the odds were not that great and hence i skipped.

Undoubtedly we are going to see a draw. England needs 272 runs to win. This is a very huge target for the fifth day. It is not possible for England to win. Interestingly, England has already lost their first wicket with just one run. They need to bat responsibly to draw the match.

Shami and Bumrah changed the match with their batting and then came out and picked a couple of quick wickets and there is still 40 overs left in the match and India needs to pick 7 wickets to win the match but as long as Joe Root is still in the crease there is nothing to worry for England. I am sure India is attacking and i have seen catches being dropped in the slips and they need to hold on to the catches in situations like these.

Root is the only one that they can count on at this point. If he gets out, the chances of India winning will rise drastically. If not, it will probably end as a draw as I mentioned in my previous posts.

I am also expecting a draw but i am expecting some competitive match up in the final session.

The England team is not on track. I think the players have become a bit weak mentally when players like Shami and Bumrah have a 90-run partnership against them and remain unbeaten in the end. Joe Root, the last hope for England, is still on the field. England will lose this match if he is out. The batsmen did not play well in the first innings.

Root is back home and England lost their 5th wicket. I cannot believe what i am watching. England is struggling here and India have more than 35 overs left and they just need to pick 5 more wickets and India is having advantage and it is a match they can win now  .

I thought the pitch has gone flat and England could easily bat throughout and end up as a draw, but Indian bowlers are ripping through the England batting line up.

With Shami and Bumrah batting nicely, India declared with a healthy lead. It was embarrassing for English cricket to fail to break Bumrah and Shami's partnership & India to declare it the most embarrassing situation. England has already lost four wickets, Root is mostly surviving at the moment. Not sure which result, maybe a draw or a win for the Indians.

This can be a game changer. Joe Root is like the only English batsman who was in form and now he's gone. And more than 30 overs remain for today, with India 5 wickets away from a win. Now they are down to the last recognized batting pair (Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali, and both of them are out of form). I believe there is enough time for Indians to get the remaining 5 wickets, given the fact that apart from Sam Curran, the England lower order is mostly comprised of genuine tailenders.

In today's Test match, if India can take a fast wicket, they can win, but from my point of view, it seems that this match will also be a tie. After Joe Root was out, England's batting came to an end . If the rest can play up to 30 overs, then this Test match is on the way to a draw again.

Jos Buttler and Ollie Robinson have built a useful partnership when the team needs it. Buttler made 25 off 94 balls. Now they need to bat to draw the match. The match will be a draw if the pair can survive a few more overs. I'm still hoping for a draw.

The partnership is broken now. Jasprit Bumrah got the wicket of Ollie Robinson. 9 overs remain and India needs to take another two wickets. Oh.. just now Jos Buttler was nabbed by Mohammed Siraj. That means India is just one wicket away from victory. Really pathetic performance from the England batsmen. After Joe Root got out, none of the other batsmen even managed to put any decent fight. And the Indian pacers were simply outstanding. Everyone of them contributed with frequent strikes.
