Only two days remain and rain interruption is predicted for the next two days as well. On top of that, the ground is very poorly constructed and it doesn't allow play even when there is no rain, as the water is retained for some more time.

West Indies board is not spending money to purchase water absorbents and people are doing it manually and that takes a day to dry the ground. If they had spent money on that they could have played in the second day and if there is further rain in this match both the teams should go to the hotel and start preparing for the next match.
 
I am also not expecting a result but lets see if there is any further surprises in stores  .

This is really matter of shame for West Indies Cricket Board they are gaining some good profit but not spending amount for better technology and better things, in near future they have to think about this because now it's time for better results and fast actions. Right now situation is favouring draw but If Pakistani bowlers able to have some quick wickets in first session then we can expect some result from this match which already lost 4 sessions just because of weather and poor facilities from West Indies Cricket Board.

Edit: Alzarri Joseph gone now West Indies is 45/4 just third over off the day.

West Indies have managed to made 80/4 now so this means that there will be no follow on.  Both Nkrumah Bonner and Jermaine Blackwood are playing well and slowly this matched is headed towards no result.
As far as for the WI board is concerned, i am not sure ICC fund them enough like they fund other boards to maintain the stadiums etc.

They can bat for another 30-35 overs and make 150 runs, and that would set the target at 300-320. So in the 4th innings, West Indies need to chase 300 plus target in 100 plus overs. But any further rain interruption will disrupt these calculations.

So in the end the delay proved beneficial for the West Indies. Pakistan should be happy that they managed to put up a total in excess of 300. And the bowlers also gave them something to cheer for, as West Indies is now reduced to 39/3. Just two days remain in this test match and the only possibility of a result would arise in case West Indies is forced to follow on. And for that Pakistan needs to bowl them out for less than 102 runs. That is not very realistic and in all probability West Indies will win the series.

Windies team has scored 150 runs in their first innings. They were able to avoid the follow-on but they aren't out from danger yet. Pakistan is playing their second innings like a T20 match. Maybe their intention is to score quickly and set a not chasable target for West Indies team. Pakistan may declare their second innings early. Pakistan is looking for victory here, they are scoring the runs quickly so that they will get plenty of time to bowl West Indies out a second time and win the match. They should get the inspiration from India and learn how they won from an impossible situation to dominating the match in the final two sessions and if Pakistan can get the entire day tomorrow they could bowl out West Indies.

I don't think the West Indies players will be able to stay on the field for a whole day. They are not experienced enough. And there is no continuity of performance. They have batted well in the previous match, the first innings of this match was a very bad batting disaster. However, the match is under the control of Pakistan. Pakistan will win only if the bowlers are able to perform their duties properly.

Today is the fifth day of the match, and West Indies has already lost one wicket (Kieran Powell). At this point, Pakistan definitely has a higher chance of winning the match, especially given the stellar performance from Mohammad Abbas and Shaheen Shah Afridi earlier. It is a joke that West Indies is still allowed to play test matches. After the (forced) retirement of Shivnarine Chanderpaul, they are without the services of a quality test batsman.

Morning session just ended and we have lunch now. Pakistan took 4 wickets in this session and it surely belongs to them. The captain Kraigg Brathwaite is the key player for West Indies. He can only survive this match for WI and there is not much batting left in the team.
I think the next session will further clarifies either Pakistan will win the match or it will end in a draw.

The match between Pakistan and West Indies is being delayed due to rain. If the match is abandoned, West Indies will be saved from a certain defeat. Rain is very beneficial for them now. West Indies lost 7 wickets for just 159 runs. My guess is that they will be able to stay in the crease for a maximum of 15 overs.
