What's happening to Pakistani Batting ? Someone tell them its not a T20 but a Test Match. They are scoring at the rate of 7 runs per over. Make 50-60 more runs and declare n go for a kill.

They mean business here. If rain does not interrupt, i can smell Pakistan Victory

They should get the inspiration from India and learn how they won from an impossible situation to dominating the match in the final two sessions and if Pakistan can get the entire day tomorrow they could bowl out West Indies.

West Indies need 286 more runs to win the match and they are playing better than they played in the first innings, i was thinking why Pakistan was delaying the declaration but now when Pakistan failed to pick early wickets i can understand why they took the lead over to 329 runs before making the declaration and i still think Pakistan could win the match if there is no further rain interruption.

I don't think the West Indies players will be able to stay on the field for a whole day. They are not experienced enough. And there is no continuity of performance. They have batted well in the previous match, the first innings of this match was a very bad batting disaster. However, the match is under the control of Pakistan. Pakistan will win only if the bowlers are able to perform their duties properly.

LOL.. look at the opposition as well. Do you really think that the West Indies team is any better (especially in the test format)? Today is the fifth day of the match, and West Indies has already lost one wicket (Kieran Powell). At this point, Pakistan definitely has a higher chance of winning the match, especially given the stellar performance from Mohammad Abbas and Shaheen Shah Afridi earlier. It is a joke that West Indies is still allowed to play test matches. After the (forced) retirement of Shivnarine Chanderpaul, they are without the services of a quality test batsman.

Morning session just ended and we have lunch now. Pakistan took 4 wickets in this session and it surely belongs to them. The captain Kraigg Brathwaite is the key player for West Indies. He can only survive this match for WI and there is not much batting left in the team.
I think the next session will further clarifies either Pakistan will win the match or it will end in a draw.

The match between Pakistan and West Indies is being delayed due to rain. If the match is abandoned, West Indies will be saved from a certain defeat. Rain is very beneficial for them now. West Indies lost 7 wickets for just 159 runs. My guess is that they will be able to stay in the crease for a maximum of 15 overs.

Another great match between West Indies and Pakistan and it went till the last few overs and this time Pakistan was able to finish the match by picking all their wickets and even though one day was lost due to rain, it was a perfect ending for the match as Pakistan lost the last match as they were not pick the wickets of the tail end batsman and this time i thought the tail would hang in there and will draw the match.

They did the right thing by limiting the number of matches to two. I would say that even one was enough, given the declining popularity of test cricket. Overall, it was an amazing fightback from Pakistan. Shaheen Shah Afridi was exceptional, and he has all the qualities to become another legend, like Wasim Akram or Shoaib Akhtar. Shaheen is already having 76 test wickets to his name, and he is only 21 years old. But a lot will depend on how PCB grooms players like him. There is no dearth of talent in Pakistan.

Historically, Pakistan has performed poorly in ICC tournaments. But this time they have an advantage, since the tournament is being hosted by the UAE. Winning the trophy will lift everyone's morale.
