I am enjoying the second Test match between Pakistan and West Indies. Strange batting lineup of Pakistan team. They lost 3 wickets for 2 runs. The first 3 batsmen have been out. Babar Azam and Fawad Alam are in the crease. The future of the team depends on them now. If they are out, Pakistan will lose all their wickets before 100 runs.
The West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl. Looks like they are confident of winning this match.

A good comeback from Pakistan team. I also thought that Pakistan will struggle to make big score. But Babar Azam and Fawad Alam saved Pakistan from a batting collapse. They are still playing and made more than 100 runs partnership. We are at early stage of the match. It's difficult to make the prediction now. Pakistan will try their best to win this test match as they have lost the first game.

From 3 wickets for 2 runs to 3wickets for 145 runs. What an outstanding performance from team Pakistan! I am completely surprised! The performance of Babar Azam and Fawad Alam is very stable. Fawad scored 67 off 139 balls and Babar scored 65 off 143 balls. Pakistan is in a very good position now. If they can score 300 runs, it will be a big challenge for the West Indies.

The Pakistan team is now in trouble again. They lost the fourth wicket for 168 runs. Babar Azam was out for 75 runs. On the other hand, Fawad Alam is now out of the field with injuries. There are two new batsmen now in the crease. It is difficult to say how long they will stay at the crease.

The fielders were placed at the boundary, because their fastest bowler (Mark Wood) wanted to bowl a few bouncers. Joe Root wanted his revenge against Bumrah (for bowling bouncers against James Anderson), and he never thought that these two would make more than 10-15 runs. Until that point, England had the advantage in the match. But the partnership changed the advantage back to the Indian side. And it's not just Dom Sibley and Rory Burns. All of the England batsmen apart from Joe Root have been in poor form.

I was listening to Ravichandran Ashwin's podcast and he was mentioning about the real issue between James Anderson and Bumrah and he was complaining about bowling the extra pace when he was batting and that started the rivalry and when Bumrah came to bat they wanted to repay that with a barrage of bouncers but that tactics backfired big time and that partnership changed the match entirely  .

Pakistan made a swift recovery from loosing 3 wickets in the start and at the end of the day lost Babar Azam and Fawad Alam is injured hurt and they need a couple of good partnership in this innings to get to a good score.

How Fawad Alam got injured, i think i remember him getting injured in a series in the past few months as well, is it fitness issue or got hit by the ball. I am not watching the match live but follow the highlights and scorecard.  Now they are in safe land with 212 runs and they will be adding another 100 to 150 runs and it all depends upon how West Indies batting line up is going to play.

At the current moment, if Pakistan can save the match, it will be good achievement. Pakistan did recovered well, thanks to Baber Azam and Fawad Alam, but game is still on. If some how they they manage to score 300+ runs and also bowl WI quickly, only then they might stand a chance in this test match.

Yeah, Pakistan is totally an unpredictable team. With the exception of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, there is no continuity in the performance of any batsman. And the team can't rely on anyone but these two batsmen. Other players are seasonal performers. If luck is good they are able to run. Nevertheless, Pakistan's current position is stable. Doesn't think so that the conditions are any good for cricket right now at Sabina Park. They have taken early lunch which means that its still raining and we may lose 3 -4 hours or even more. I don't see any cricket till tea.

I was not following cricket that long but having a reserve day when they are playing during these rainy season is a good alternative to make things interesting rather than the match going for a draw. Only during the WTC the ICC wanted a reserve day but during regular series i doubt that the team will allow a reserve day because the tour date will last longer.
